Abstract
The article is devoted to the history of the organization and activities of military hospitals in Saratov to provide medical assistance to the military personnel of the Russian army in peacetime and during military conflicts in the second half of the eighteenth and early twentieth centuries. The role of public organizations and individuals in the deployment of additional hospitals during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, the First World War and the Civil War is shown.
