The choice of surgical intervention for regmatogenous retinal detachment in a district military hospital

The article presents results of surgical treatment of 67 patients (69 eyes) who underwent curative surgery for regmatogenous retinal detachment, an analysis of the methods of surgical treatment, their effectiveness. It showed that the efficacy of the method depends not only on the stage of the proliferative process in the vitreous but also on the equipment of the operating room and the availability of practical skills among the staff.
