Operational efficiency improvement of turbocharged diesel engines

Krokhta G.M., Khomchenko Y.N., Usatykh N.A.

Abstract

Special procedure for assessment of efficiency of energy use of exhaust gases from turbocharged engines in a wide range of loading modes and ambient air temperatures, based on the exergy method, is proposed. Reliability of the proposed procedure is confirmed experimentally. Ways of improvement of turbocharged diesel engines operational efficiency are outlined.

Improvement of power take-off shaft of Belarus tractors

Bobrovnik A.I.

Abstract

Typically independent power take-off shafts are used in tractors. In order to increase economical efficiency of aggregates when engines are underloaded, stabilized power take-off shaft and low-energy one are proposed for Belarus tractors of 1,4 and 5,0 categories. The prototype models passed the factory test.

Investigation of burning and heat generation in thermally forced diesel

Plotnikov S.A., Buzikov S.V., Atamanyuk V.F.

Abstract

Indicator diagrams of 2Ч 10,5/12,0 diesel have been analyzed in accordance with the method of Central Research and Development Institute of Diesel Engines. Diagrams of heat generation in thermally forced diesel are obtained for two regimes, namely for nominal and maximal driving moments. It was found theoretically that thermal forcing shortens preliminary stage of the burning and decreases the operating severity. It opens a prospect for forcing of diesel on mean effective pressure.

Theoretical substantiation of kinematic mode of separator for small leaf part of grass plant

Abilzhanov D.T., Abilzhanuly T.

Abstract

The new preparation method for vitaminic grass flour from leaf part of grass plant is proposed, constructive and technological scheme of separator of small leaf part of grass plant is substantiated. As a result of theoretical researches equations of equivalent forces affecting plants’ stems in each quarter of circle of eccentric rotation are obtained, conditions for stems moving towards pitch of separator screen are determined.

Wear of all-metal and compound ploughshares

Mikhalchenkov A.M., Kozarez I.V., Mikhalchenkova M.A.

Abstract

It is found that service life of Russian-manufactured ploughshares is determined by ray-shaped wear and abrasion of a deepening part of plough-point, but service life of imported components is determined by wear of cutting-blade parts of the frame. Some kinds of one-sided chisels wear can be repaired and do not cause their rejection.

Kerimov M.A., Safiullin R.N., Marusin A.V.

Abstract

To improve of motor vehicle reliability and increase its service life by means of high-quality fuel supply, universal method of quality rating of fuel during formation of fuel physical-and-chemical properties directly on engine is developed. Results of investigation representing data collection concerning values of dielectric constant for fuels of different physical-and-chemical compositions at different frequencies are given. These data can be used for optimization of engine control systems using a certain brand of fuel.
