Selection of design parameters and settings of biogas spark-ignition engine on the basis of diesel engine
Abstract
The paper presents the results of experimental studies of biogas spark-ignition internal combustion engine on the basis of ЯМЗ-236 diesel engine; it determines the dependence of average operating emissions of toxic components in the engine of that type on the chemical composition of fuel.

Equipment for mobile power unit cab protection from insolation
Abstract
The paper presents the analysis of equipment protecting the cab and operator of mobile power unit from high insolation. Special attention is payed to the combination of thermophysical properties of protection devices, including the capacities of reflection, thermal insulation and heat removal. A number of patented designs improving working conditions is proposed.

Determination of maximal slipping of wheeled movers taking into account the limiting of their impact on soil
Abstract
To ensure the minimal damage of soil structure, it is proposed to determine the maximal slipping of wheeled movers taking into account the value of their permissible pressure on soil in horizontal plane. As a result, it is established that for the substantial reduction of soil structural damage during agricultural works in spring period the maximal permissible values of slipping of wheeled movers of tractors of 5, 3 and 1,4 tractive classes have to be equal to 15, 12 and 9% respectively. In summer and autumn periods, the values of maximal slipping can be greater and, accordingly, be equal to 20, 16 and 13%.

Theoretical and experimental studies of infrared drying of heat-labile materials
Abstract
Drying of high-moisture and heat-labile material requires the substantiation of temperature and duration of process. This is due to the necessity of preserving of product quality and economical efficiency of process. Use of infrared drying allows to solve this problem, because the duration is significantly reduced in comparison with convection drying.

Optimization of formulation of repair abrasion-resistant dispersion-strengthened epoxy composition with sand filler on the adhesion strength
Abstract
It is shown that when performing work on the restoration of parts operating in abrasive environment, the formulation containing 60-70 pts. wt. of natural sand and 30-40 pts. wt. of epoxy adhesive is the most effective in terms of adhesion strength.

Investigation of ageing process of hydraulic oils and its mathematical description
Abstract
Method and device for monitoring and diagnosing the quality of engine and hydraulic oils are proposed. This aim is attained on the assumption that main quality parameters of engine and hydraulic oils are the alkali or acid number and the content of mechanical impurities.

Assessment of environmental friendliness of tractors, machinery and equipment
Abstract
The article provides the analysis of regulatory frameworks of environmental friendliness of tractors, machinery and equipment existing in the territory of the Customs Union and the Russian Federation, and the methodological support for obtaining standardized indicators. It also considers the problem relating to travel of non-road self-propelled vehicles on the public road network.
