Abstract
The article describes the methods used in the design of laser cutting machines to reduce the impact of serious dynamic loads due to high-speed and dynamic movements of the portal. To avoid parasitic vibrations, geometry violations and loss of movement accuracy, the machine bed is made rigid and additionally weighted with polymer concrete. After welding, the bed is subjected to high-temperature tempering and artificial aging. The design of the laser head has a built-in collision protection system.
