Foreign language competence as a component of theprofessional competence of a medical specialist

Abstract

A variety of linguistic, culturological, psychological and pedagogical approaches to the problem of foreign language competence development is studied. Polysemantic analysis of the notion competence and its structure is given considering the process of English teaching to post-graduate students and medical specialists at a higher medical educational establishment. The diagnostic techniques are described in the article.
