Abstract
Priority direction in the work of the department of public health administration of Volgograd region is improving the system of quality control of health care. The author proposes organizational principles of departmental and non-departmental quality control of health care provided by state health care establishments with or without their subordination and in different forms of property. Faculty members of the Volgograd state medical university made an expertise examination of the quality control system. Implementation of the system of quality control should further improve health care provision in the Volgograd region.
