Invasive and non-invasive methods of diagnostics livercondition in chronic hepatitis in Volgograd and Volgogradregion
Abstract
In this study we analyzed the correlation between biochemical parameters of blood, HCV RNA level, ultrasonic
image of liver tissues and morphological changes of liver structure. No dependence between histological
changes (inflammation and fibrosis in liver tissue) in both viral and non-viral chronic hepatitis and biochemical parameters
of blood, fibrosis ultrasonic characteristics of a liver and an HCV RNA level was noted. A necessity of liver biopsy by
ultrasonic control as the most informative and safe method for today is justified.

Effect of laser, microwave and EHF-radiation on trychomonasvaginalis in conditions of continuous culture growth
Abstract
The effect of laser, microwave and EHF-radiation on the viability and morphology of Tr. vaginalis in conditions
of growing it continually in liquid media is investigated. It is shown that all kinds of radiations in therapeutic dozes
promote an increase in the quantity of cells. The irradiation of culture results in a change of the form and in a loss of mobility
of Trichomonas. However, this does not indicate a decrease in their viability as cells preserved their ability for intensive
reproduction. Various dozes of radiations have no mutagen action on DNA, which calls for revision of these physiotherapeutic
methods of treatment of trichomoniasis.

Effect of amlodipine on endothelial dysfunction, heart ratevariability and cerebral blood flow in patients with arterialhypertension
Abstract
Objective. Studying endothelium-dependent flow-mediated vasodilatation (FMD), heart rate variability
(HRV) and cerebral blood flow in elderly patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and coronary heart disease (CHD) receiving
calcium antagonists.
Total of 35 patients aged over 60 years with moderate or severe AH and CHD were examined. All patients underwent
rheography on the arm, HRV and ultrasound dopplerography of the head and neck vessels. All patients received
monotherapy with amlodipine ("Kardiolopin") 2,5 or 5 mg for 2 months.
In patients who received amlodipine 2,5 mg, endothelial reaction to reactive hyperemia was weaker than that in patients
who received amlodipine 5 mg. HRV was significantly improved in both groups. However, if sympathetic tone is
elevated, then combination therapy with beta-blockers is necessary. Cerebral blood flow improved, too, indices of peripheral
resistance in certain blood streams were reduced, especially in patients who received amlodipine 5 mg.
The data obtained may be used as additional criteria of effectiveness of the therapy in elderly patients.

Classification of hepato-renal syndrome in patientswith acute abdominal surgical pathology
Abstract
There is no universal classification of hepato-renal failure in surgical patients nowadays which makes it
difficult to make clinical diagnosis and choose adequate methods of treatment. For the purpose of developing an up-todate
classification applicable to clinical practice, 1057 patients with AASP were studied. In 398 (37,6 %) cases hepatorenal
syndrome (HRS) developed. Development of classification of HRS was based on the main etiopathological factors,
nosological form and presence of additional etiopathological factors (i.e. acute intestinal failure, peritonitis and biliary hypertension).
In classification of HRS the time of development of HRS was considered, 3 degrees of severity were distinguished,
patients with primary failure of liver or kidney were noted. Development of classification of HRS in patients with
abdominal surgical pathology (AASP), taking into consideration modern criteria of hepato-renal failure, is applicable to
scientific analysis. This classification can be used in working with patients with different acute abdominal surgical diseases
and increases the effect of treatment.

Prospects of employing hi-tone therapy in treating infantilecerebral paralysis
Abstract
A method of hi-tone therapy for treating children with spastic forms of infantile cerebral paralysis based on
determining dosimetric parameters by means of alternating cellular microelectrophoresis (ACM) was elaborated and put
into clinical practice. Electrokinetic parameters of erythrocytes in peripheral blood, as well as dosimetric parameters of hitone
therapy were determined and worked out. This contributed to optimization of treatment outcomes in children with
spastic forms of infantile cerebral paralysis of different age groups.

Heart remodelling and intensity of hypotensive therapyin patients with arterial hypertension associated with typeII diabetes mellitus
Abstract
Our objective was to study hypotensive therapy efficiency at early periods of observation of patients with
arterial hypertension associated with type II diabetes mellitus depending on the type of left ventricular remodelling. There
has been detected a direct correlation between the hypotensive effect and the myocardium mass of the left ventricle and
a negative correlation between the relative ventricle wall thickness and the index of the area of diastolic blood pressure.
No dependence between hypotensive effect and the geometry type of the left ventricle in patients with arterial hypertension
associated with type II diabetes mellitus was detected.

Selection of anticoagulation therapy regimen after operationson major arteries of lower extremities
Abstract
The results of 295 reconstructive operations on the major veins of lower limbs are analyzed. The patients
were divided into 4 groups depending on the regimen of anticoagulant therapy in the postoperative period. We studied the
state of hemostasis and hemorheology. The frequency of thrombohemorrhagic complication was assessed. It was found
that the regimen based on administration of low molecular weight heparins during the first 5 postoperative days was the
most rational regimen of anticoagulation therapy after reconstructive operation on the major arteries of lower limbs.

Effect of ultralow temperatures on tumour-like lesionsof bones
Abstract
The effect of ultralow temperatures on the structure of fibrous dysplasia, metaphyseal fibrous defect,
bone cysts is investigated. Fragments of this newgrowth, obtained from 29 patients, were exposed to instillation and contact
cryotherapy. The temperature of tissue processed varied from -42 to -134 ºС. The achieved destruction and devitalisation
of pathological tissue was estimated by morphometrical calculation of the amount of killed elements. There was
impairment of cell membranes and stroma of connective tissue. The count of destroyed cellular elements of the cyst
membranes varied from 20 up to 60 % upon contact cryotherapy and instillation processing with nitrogen. Necrosis of
cells of fibroblastic leneage was up to 40 % upon contact cryotherapy and up to 30-35 % upon instillation cryotherapy.
The obtained data make it possible to increase the destruction of tumor cells upon resection of tumour-like lesions of
bones. Cryodestruction and resection of bone excludes excessive radical surgery.
