ALGEBRAIC ASPECTS OF EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF METHODS FOR INFORMATION PROTECTION IN CLOUD COMPUTING BY USING RESIDUE NUMBER SYSTEM

Abstract

The article researches the methods of confidential information security processed with cloud computing. We demonstrated effectiveness of homomorphic encryption application with residue number system for cloud computing protection. Proposed schemes of homomorphic encryption provide to perform arithmetic operations (+, ´, Å) in cloud by ciphertext. We researched security dependence on information capacity known to cloud providers under cloudy conspiracy. Analysis of encrypted data protection is performed by using homomorphic encryption under cloudy conspiracy and various computational models. We propose solution of security problem during data transmission and cloud storage.

ANALYSIS OF «O»-BAND OPTICAL SIGNAL LAUNCHING TO GRADED MULTIMODE OPTICAL FIBER WITH GREAT CENTRAL DEFECT OF REFRACTIVE INDEX PROFILE VIA STANDARD SINGLEMODE OPTICAL FIBER

Abstract

We present mathematical description for excitation of weakly guiding silica graded multimode optical fibers with arbitrary axial symmetric refractive index profile providing to take into account launching conditions, including transversal mode staff of emission generating by laser, radial or angular misalignments. Proposed solution is based on mode coupling coefficients estimation by combination of earlier on developed modified Gaussian approximation and well known overlap integral method. We developed method for mode coupling computing and performed calculation of mode coupling coefficients at the splice of standard singlemode and mentioned multimode optical fibers. Mode power redistribution was researched during optical signal launching to excited multimode optical fiber via standard singlemode fiber pigtail jointed to laser source operating over central region of «O»-band that corresponds to 1310 nm. Some research results in the form of diagrams of excited mode normalized amplitudes depending on precision misalignment at 1310 nm as well as mode coupling coefficients spectral curves are presented.

ANALYSIS OF GENERAL QUEUING SYSTEM BY SELECTION FUNCTIONS

Abstract

This work presents method for Lindley's equation spectral solution by using of selection functions for distribution approximation. Proposed method is based on approximation of “upstream” distribution spans by low order polynomials, while “downstream” distribution spans are approximated by sums of damped exponentials with low number of sum terms. Expected waiting time of demand in queue may be evaluated via numerical solution of linear algebraic equation. We demonstrated the effectiveness of proposed method by example of research of system W / P /1, where W and P are Weibull and Pareto distributions respectively. Solution accuracy depends on approximation accuracy for distributions performed during solving Lindley equation by spectral method. Method of selection functions provided to exchange Weibull distribution by two-part distribution containing “upstream” and “downstream” spans approximated by proposed approach. We showed that described approximation provides substantially smaller error in comparison with utilization unital approximation for whole distribution by the sum of damped exponentials. This cross-linking distribution makes able easy to produce its Laplace transform, that leads solution of considered complex problem to numerical solution of linear algebraic equation.

WEB PORTAL OF THE NEXT GENERATION NETWORK MULTISERVICE PLATFORM EQUIPMENT

Abstract

Nowadays a lot of various type equipment manufactured by both foreign and native companies is widely used in Russia telecommunications for the next generation networks (NGNs). Finally particular network equipment should be selected during the last stages of design NGN. It has to satisfy some preset requirements to both technical and maintenance parameters and characteristics. However it is a complex problem to make a choice for necessary NGN equipment for design, researches or education due to lack of systematized information about its features and comparison ability. We propose to solve described problem by using public web portal of multiservice NGN platforms developed in Povolzhskiy State University of Telecommunications and Informatics (PSUTI, Samara, Russia). This work describes web portal goals and abilities, presents system software architecture and data base structure. Developed web portal satisfies to requirements of information content users as well as NGN platform manufacturers and portal owner. Design companies, service providers, consulting firms and integrators have fast and easy access to great database of NGN platform components via Internet. NGN platform manufactures get unital professional advertising platform in the Internet, they are able quickly add new information about new products or correct data concerned with earlier on manufactured components. Described web portal is important for teaching staff, students and postdoc students specializing in the research and educational fields of telecommunications.

CONDITIONAL AVERAGE VALUE OF QUEUES IN QUEUE SYSTEMS WITH PACKET FLOWS OF DEMANDS

Abstract

This work considers queuing systems with packet flows of demands featured for modern multiservice telecommunication networks. It presents Pollaczek-Khintchine formula generalization for systems with common type flows. We considered mean queue size dependences under low duty ratio. This work introduces a new term of conditional average value of queue, which is mean value under processor no-downtime condition, and presents algorithm for approximation of queue size dependences in queuing systems with packet flows of demands. Time delay in queues was considered. We defined duty limits, which provide desired queue size and time delays.

EFFECT OF TCP-WINDOW SIZE ON DISTRIBUTION OF TIME SLOTS BETWEEN TRAFFIC PACKETS IN SOFTWARE-DEFINED SDN NETWORKS

Abstract

This work considers effect of TCP-window size on the numerical characteristics of time slots between packets. Here we researched first three initial time slot moments due to developed mathematical model utilizes them. Researches were performed on virtual experimental setup installed over physical servers by OpenNebula platform. We considered two cases including software-defined network supporting OpenFlow open protocol and conventional network without it. The first one is performed with POX controller and physical switch. Here we utilize software products tcpdump for traffic capture and Iperf for traffic generation. This work presents script providing traffic generation initiation process automation. Obtained results were imported to MS Excel. Then moment characteristics are evaluated by well-known mathematical statistics formulas.

Abstract

This work is concerned with problem of analysis of initial data uncertainty influence on statistical simulation results. We researched a complex hierarchical non-reflective system. The uncertainty of the initial data is taken into account during formation of random numerical values by modeling of stochastic factors, which have an influence on the non-reflective system operation. The first part of work presents statistical simulation model for business process of Tyumen region Multifunctional center for provision of pub-lic and municipal services that was selected as the test object. We propose verbal model for testing both business process and simulation algorithm with its implementation by software AnyLogic. Second part of work will present analysis by the example of selected test models to estimate influence of initial data uncertainties on statistical simulation model effective-ness.

TELECOMMUNICATION TRAFFIC ANALYSIS BY USING COPULAS

Abstract

This work is concerned with utilization of copulas for analysis of high-correlated self-similarity traffic in multiservice networks and for simulation two-dimensional probability densities of correlated random varieties. Proposed approach provides overcoming the main limitations associated with classic queuing theory, which are based on presupposition of independences of arrival and service processes. Copula means to consider relationship between sampling random varieties outside the one-dimensional distribution context. Here definitions of copula functions and Kendall’s and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficients are presented. These coefficients provide more precisely researching of traffic amount. This work presents developed Gumbel’s and Clayton’s copulas and one of Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern copulas for two-dimensional lognormal distribution. Criterions for copula selection are based on analysis of existing implementations of random variety sequences. This work sets a relation between rank correlation coefficients and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.

DEVELOPMENT OF MANAGEMENT INDICATORS FOR A FOOTBALL

Abstract

This work proposes information indicator for management decision making in economic and social systems. Proposed indicator methodology is based on researching of incoming data and their following analysis by software package Statistica by autoregressive method. The indicator makes prediction that is considered as additional signal of effective solutions for complex LPR problems. Proposed indicator was utilized for the football club “Krylya Sovetov” (Samara, Russia). We demonstrated that improvement of football effectiveness requires management decision making as for strategy as well as for playmaking by taking into account sport and economic factors.

RELIEF RECOVERY BY SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR THAT PARASITES OVER TV BROADCASTING SIGNALS

Abstract

Nowadays digital relief recovery is one of the most top-priority areas of modern Earth remote probing system applications, where synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is possible and effective techniques, and so-called “parasitic systems” are the most interesting among SARs for described purposes, which utilize radio signal unrelated to radio systems as a probing signal. This work is concerned with problem of digital relief recovery by using SAR that “parasites” over TV broadcasting signals. Digital model development is strongly complicated process especially under low angles of incidence and signal interference occurring due to compact design. We present of some results for SAR simulation that parasite over TV broadcasting signals. Here radar imaging is considered with fixed transmitter and mobile dual-channel receiver. Simulation of algorithms for digital relief recovery by radar interferometry was performed by real TV signals detected in “direct” channel. Reflected signals and interference image were simulated. We analyzed ability of height recovery under noised reflected signal. Simulation results demonstrated potentiality of proposed technology application on practice.

HIERARCHICAL STOCHASTIC MODEL FOR MONITORING OF TREAT TO INFORMATION SECURITY OF INFORMATION SYSTEM

Abstract

Nowadays modern information systems solve various problems concerned with automation of banks, insurance and trading company activities, financial exchanges, supervisory control and data acquisition applications etc. They become more complex due to widening of their applicability that requires protection for both loose units or modules and whole system. Therefore the problems of corporate information resources security providing take on a dimension during all steps of system design and maintenance. This work considers a stochastic model for monitoring of treat to information security of the whole information system. Proposed model provides analysis of various factors and threats influence on information system and its optimum operation mode under them. This developed technique is based on analysis of information security risks and designing of threat hierarchical stochastic model. We utilize the algorithm of directed search of information security risks, which performs security risk choice by maximal information capacity criterion. It provides decreasing of analyzing threats and therefore transmitted data capacity.

PRINCIPLES OF MODERN HUMAN RESOURCE SYSTEM

Abstract

This work describes basic principles of human resource (HR) management improvement by using new information systems and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI). HR management systems are based on software uniting information from various applications to the one universal database. Relation between HR and competence modules via single database is the main difference from custom and proprietary previous developments that makes this software flexible, while KPI estimation leads to detection of potential improvements. Proposed approach differs from known solutions by containing all main processes of HR management. Earlier on developed systems were characterized by narrow only one goal concerned with as example payroll preparation optimization or work time management. Modern systems cover all problems relating with HR departments including monitoring and improvement of process effectiveness, organization hierarchy management and simplification of all type financial transactions. This work presents researches mainly focused on improvement of large enterprise processes as well as it may be applied for small and medium-sized businesses. Here modern HR management systems are considered under KPI monitoring to estimate a progress in toward strategic goals.
