DESIGN OF THIRD ORDER WAVELET FILTERS OVER FINITE FIELDS BY USING SPECIAL BINOMIALS

Abstract

This work is concerned on research of method for design of third order wavelet filters in finite fields by using special binomials. Finite field wavelets have many advantages in comparison with real or complex field wavelets. The main two of them are high rate data processing and lack of rounding error. However, the main disadvantage of finite field wavelets is high complexity of design based on using of polynomial properties and para-unitary matrixes over finite fields. The most known methods for design of finite filed wavelets utilize computing system based on Berlekamp algorithm or its modifications for polynomial expansion over finite field. We propose new method for design of third order wavelet filters over finite field. Presented method is based on using of special type binomials over those fields. We derived and proved analytical formulas for filter coefficient and demonstrated some examples.

METHOD FOR COMPUTING OF SCINTILLATION INDEX UNDER ANISOTROPIC IRREGULARITIES IN PERTURBED IONOSPHERE

Abstract

Electron density fluctuations in ionosphere leads to scintillation effect, which means random variations of amplitude and phase of received signal. According to known method for scintillation index evaluation, at first this index is computed for conditions of wave weak scattering, and then an empirical correction of obtained results is used for multiple scattering without strong focusing. This method supposes the using of expressions been derived by utilizing of approximation of power low with spectral index at most 5 under condition that radius of the first Fresnel zone is substantially smaller than outer scale of irregularities. This condition is fail, when the maximal ionization altitude is much more then thickness of irregularity layer or scintillation index becomes moderate intensive and Gaussian law or power law with spectral index above 5 should be applied for spectral density description. This work presents method for computing of scintillation index for conditions of weak scattering, which takes into account all mentioned above. Proposed method provides evaluation of high spectral index scintillation influence over full value range of first Fresnel zone radius to irregularity outer scale ratio. Method is based on reduction of quadric form of electronic concentration and phase fluctuations in the arguments of autocorrelation function to scalar value, which is further taken into account during Radon and Fourier transformations. Expressions for calculation of scintillation index written in the form of integral of the product of phase fluctuation spectral density and filtering functions were derived by proposed method. Arguments of these expressions takes into account anisotropy of irregularities and oblique wave propagation. Obtained expressions are specified for spectral density of electronic density fluctuations described by both Gaussian law and power law with spectral index ranging from 4 to 6 of that provides more comfortable computing.

MATHEMATICAL FORMALIZATION OF ALGORITHM FOR DEMODULATION BY RULE OF MAXIMUM OF A POSTERIOR PROBABILITY THAT MINIMIZES PROBABILITY OF ERROR PER DIGIT

Abstract

The article describes the algorithm for demodulation by rule of maximum of a posteriori probability. This algorithm minimizes the probability of error per digit. Unlike to conventional approaches, during the algorithm description here term “combination” is used. Applied term “combination” means some sequence of transmitted known and unknown symbols. Relationship was derived for probabilities of state and joint probability densities of signal distribution and state (combination) for arbitrary position of transmitted symbols and arbitrary relative memory of channel. Representation of symbols in shift register from right to left provided to compare the contents of shift register with number of state (combination) in the m-ary numerical system. Proposed method makes up for missing link between mathematical description of the algorithm and its realization by computer.

PHOTONIC GENERATION OF ULTRA-WIDEBAND SIGNAL FOR RADIO-OVER-FIBER SYSTEMS

Abstract

This work presents method for generation of ultra-wideband (UWB) signal for radio-over-fiber (RoF) systems. We consider the using sharing of ultra-wideband signal technology and RoF technology for third-channel transmission. However there is a problem of choice of method for UWB radio signal generation that provides the most effective utilization over installed FTTx-networks for data transmission of multimedia high bit rate content. We developed the scheme of simulation that generates the UWB radio impulse (IR-UWB) conforming to spectral mask approved by State Committee of Radio Frequencies. Three separate IR-UWB channels are generated over fiber optic interface with following frequency shifts 4.5 GHz, 7 GHz and 9.5 GHz are realized in proposed scheme. Correlation between bit error ratio and received optical power for different singlemode fiber lengths was computed and represented in this work.

RESEARCH OF BEHAVIOR OF OPTICAL FIBERS IN FIBER OPTIC CABLE LOOSE TUBES UNDER DEFORMATION

Abstract

Fiber optic cables with multiunit core composed of loose tubes with optical fibers are widely used over networks installed in Russia. There are different mechanical loads including crushing load that influence on fiber optic cables during their installation. Early on papers considered only single fiber loss increasing due to cable deformation produced by crushing load. However, conventional fiber optic cables usually contain from 4 to 12 optical fibers in the each loose tube. Therefore, this work is concerned on research of fiber bundle behavior under loose tube deformation. A supposition was made and then proved, that during loose tube deformation a sharp increase of fiber loss is caused by fiber-to-fiber bends instead microbends due to loose tube surface undulation. Those radiuses of fiber-to-fiber bends are determined. Sharp increase of fiber loss (more than 0.05 dB) occurs under fiber-to-fiber bend radius as less than 8 mm.

SYSTEM OF PREDICTION OF CONFIRMATION WAITING TIME IN TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK

Abstract

This work is concerned on development the system of prediction of confirmation waiting time in telecommunication network. Three values of confirmation waiting time for three previous packets been sent by data source are feed to the input. The system is based on using of 4-layer neural network operating on 8 fuzzy rules. System functional diagram is developed and represented. Training data obtained by measurement of confirmation waiting time of particular data flow packets from real telecommunication network were formed to configure the system. Results of multiple simulation experiments showed a good accuracy of confirmation waiting time prediction by neuro-fuzzy system. Proposed system can be applied for estimation of telecommunication network line load and for intensity management and control of data transmission and re-transmission.

RESEARCH OF THE DELAY IN G/G/1 SYSTEM

Abstract

We presents results of delay research performed for queuing system H2/H1/1 type G/G/1 for a wide range varying of traffic parameters. It is known that distributed by hyperexponential law random variable H2 has covariance coefficient greater then unity. Therefore hyperexponential distribution law is available for approximation of heavy-tailed distributions. This work describes the approach for approximation of heavy-tailed arbitrary distributive law by hyperexponential law under taking into account that H2 is three-parameter distribution. It is available both for the level of two first moments and level of three first moments. System H2/H1/1 type G/G/1 has advantage of other systems with input heavy-tailed distributions because it provides ability to get exact analytical solution.

COMPUTER NETWORK EMULATION

Abstract

We consider two examples of network emulation. First is local virtual network realized by emulation environment Virtual Box. Second is done by environment GNS3 with integrated Virtual Box. Here we use virtual computers (servers) and network devices. Some results of virtual network testing by bandwidth measurement tool software iperf are represented. Results of testing of virtual area networks with the same topology realized by environment GNS3 with integrated Virtual Box corresponds to real networks. Here GNS3 studio channel bandwidth and time switching are taken into account. The main parameters of virtual network depend on hardware and software emulation environment. Network emulation provides researching of network device interaction under particular settings and do not require real equipment installation. During emulation once can test different configurations of virtual devices to get optimal hardware and software combination. Computer network platform emulation by special software provides researching of virtual objects over real networks. Therefore, time for installation and settings is reduced both for network and for virtual operating systems. During the network emulation, one of the main problems is estimation of status of communication links in virtual environment and influence of number of virtual objects on to status of virtual links. However great number of virtual objects require high computer resources, that is the main drawback of virtual channels.

DYNAMIC MODELS FOR ECONOMIC AGENTS OPERATION AND INTERACTION UNDER REPRODUCTION PROCESS ADJUSTED FOR CAPITAL STOCKS

Abstract

This work represents system concepts for modeling of economic agent controlled behavior. Economic agent has margin of resources. It earns an income, performs one or several activities related with expenses, and provides adapted planning and management for its expenses. Dynamic models for controlled behavior of economic agents were developed and are represented in this paper. Proposed models provide to determine the features of economic agent response to income variation. Economic agent controlled behavior is classified to the following types: fast agent with low resources, slow agent with great resources, advanced and delayed agents with varying resources. Dynamic models of interactions between economic agents under macroeconomic financial flows are developed. Proposed models provide to simulate dynamics of adjustment processes between income and expense flows by taking into account agent capital stocks. Simulation of experiments concerned on research of self-adjustment financial flows was performed. It provides to identify regularities of agent behavior by taking into account influence of income and expense financial flows and capital stocks. Here the formation of trend for growth of agent stock is viable under making decision to increase expenses that prevents withdrawal of the part of resources. These decisions help to restore balance for agent, when the decision was made. And after that implications of these decisions effect on operation of other agents with regard to interactions of flows and stocks. Derived regularities are basis for development of intellectual decision-making system for simulation of economic and social system reproduction process.

Abstract

Complex analysis of regional ecology situation requires research of all regional system interconnections both with each other and with external environment. This work presents results of estimation of macroeconomic object stability corresponding to industrial complex of Samara region. Pro-posed analysis is based on research of marginal productivity of business-recourses usage. Mathematical models are represented that adequately describe the operation of complex productive-economic object based on ecological criterion. We produced analysis of the main business resource influence on system performance indicators by simulation methods. Control and management system is developed and proposed, it provides to predict of managerial decisions in the field of investment activity for regional ecological situation improving. We present approaches for decision making that improve ecological situation in the region.

Abstract

Nowadays low-orbit satellite communication systems are widely used for remote control and effective monitoring of environment dangerous objects. Here application of inquiry-response friend-or-foe identification system provides to identify the status of spacecraft placing over line-of-sight for subscriber terminal of remote environment dangerous object. Therefore, failure probability for environment dangerous technologies will be decreased due to blockage of false signals from foe spacecraft. Due to features of Extreme North conditions, low orbit satellite communication systems transmit signals over ionosphere Aurora region, and it can to produce an additional distortions being also reason of environmental disaster. This work represents reliable authentication protocol for low-orbit spacecrafts and satellite communication systems that provides reducing the negative effects due to distorted and imposed data transmission.

ONM SYSTEM CODING AND DECODING DEVICE FOR DIGITAL VIDEO DATA STREAM COMPRESSION

Abstract

We present method for digital video data stream compression over television channel for ONM system. Proposed method is based on researching of psychophysical features of human vision. This approach provides better results for visual quality in comparison to conventional standard MPEG-2. Here we divide sequence of fields (half-frames) into 3 groups. There 3 types of fields in the each group. O-fields are image field, which is base during reconstruction of other images. O-fields use intra-field coding, and predictions for O-fields are not formed. N-even-fields are images coded by prediction based on the previous field. N-fields utilize intra-field coding that produces line difference of two neighbor lines of even and odd fields. M-odd-fields are coded under prediction based on previous odd-filed from other frame. Even and odd fileds are replaced together over all video or frame of group to improve visual quality of image. That provides to frames with higher resolution and improving of image quality. This work also discusses practical realization of ONM system, coding scheme and decoding devices. We present their detailed descriptions and comparison analysis of known systems based on MPEG-compression together with methods for improving of compression effectiveness for digital video data stream over television channel.

IDENTIFICATION OF POINT BLURRING FUNCTION IN THE PROBLEM OF CHEMICAL MATTER SIGNATURE LOCALIZATION OVER THZ FREQUENCY RANGE

Abstract

This work presents a method for identification of chemical matter only via image registered by THz sensor imaging system. Here we use chemical matter point blurring function dependence on absorption spectrum that is got from scheme of THz image formation. System of THz image formation is described, and point blurring function dependence on chemical matter signature was obtained by supposing a strong defocusing. We propose method for point blurring function evaluation by distorted image and method for signature localization. During the simulation point blurring functions were computed for two different signatures, and distorted images were obtained. We estimated a decision-making noise immunity of which signature been applied in simulation was the main reason of distortions been registered over image unknown for decision-making algorithm.

WAVE FIELD SPATIAL-FREQUENCY RESPONSES OF APERTURE RANDOM ANTENNA

Abstract

This work is concerned on research electromagnetic field structure generated by three-element aperture random antenna with rectangular configuration. Results of simulation of electromagnetic field structure of described above antenna performed over frequency range 5 kHz…5 GHz are presented. Here observation point is located on the flat platform 20 × 20 m 2 removed from the aperture random antenna on 20 m distance. 3D-surfaces of vector amplitudes for electric E and magnetic H fields and their waive impedance are computed and represented. Also similar 3D-surfaces are obtained and shown for meridional and azimuthal angles that define spatial orientation of vectors E and H over mentioned flat area. Obtained simulation results are initial data for statistical research of electromagnetic field generated by three-element aperture random antenna performed by methods of statistical modeling.

We use fuzzy logic and analytic hierarchy process to eliminate these difficulties and following safeguard effectiveness evaluation. SIMULATION TOOLS OF SIMULATION AND PARAMETRIC EQUIPMENT FOR CONFERENCE HALLS

Abstract

Quality of multiservice like conference service depends on hardware and equipment structure installed in conference hall. Such structure includes list of elements, their functionalities and attribute characteristics. Reasoned choice of hardware and equipment structure is a result of modeling based on methods and tools for geometric and parametric simulation. We stated purposes, tasks and criterions for simulation and parametric analysis by the example of conference hall video projecting system. This work presents results of analysis of methods and tools for geometric simulation used for screen choice and coordination of relative position between video projector and screen. Performed analysis of functional flavors of geometric and parametric simulation tools such as projective calculators showed that algorithms been realized in them are specialty and do not provide for user to make correct and clear decision of parameters and simulation of video projecting system components. During equipping of hardware and equipment structure of media industry enterprises a conventional problems should be solved. That is why it requires the development and updating of metadata generic ontologies. This approach would provide to realize general methods, tools and algorithms for simulation during configuring of hardware and equipment structure.
