Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe an indicative model of a system for assessing the sustainability of regional development, taking into account the conditions for the effective implementation of public administration regulations and the functioning of scientific institutions. The authors studied the existing models used to assess the sustainability of regional development and based on the calculation of data acting as indicators of sustainable development of the region. In addition, in this work, the key elements were identified, the inclusion of which is necessary in any model of the system for assessing the sustainability of regional development. An important place in this work is devoted to the analysis of the features of the application of the indicative model of the system for assessing the sustainability of regional development, taking into account the conditions for the effective implementation of the regulations of public administration and the functioning of scientific institutions. In addition, the authors described the mechanism of formation of an indicative model of the system for assessing the sustainability of regional development, and also identified the provisions that must be observed in the process of developing and implementing this model. Conclusions. In the final part of the article, the authors gave recommendations for further improvement of the model of the system for assessing the sustainability of regional development, taking into account the conditions for the effective implementation of the regulations of public administration and the functioning of scientific institutions.
