Resumo

The necessity of ensuring democratic governance, protecting citizens’ rights, maintaining social stability, and promoting economic development within the context of the contemporary political process in the Russian Federation is closely linked to issues of political pluralism in the country. The significance of political diversity is rooted in the nation’s ongoing commitment to democratic principles and the ideals of a rule-of-law state. This paper examines the genesis and evolution of political pluralism as an integral element of the political process in the Russian Federation. The study includes an analysis of the legal framework governing the implementation of the principles and foundations of political pluralism in the context of shaping legal policy in the Russian Federation. Based on this analysis, a number of potential problems and obstacles to its development are identified, along with possible solutions.
