Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the content of the concept of «parliamentary diplomacy» by studying the specific competences of parliament in the foreign policy sphere, as well as interpreting parliament as a «platform» for diplomatic interactions. As a result of the article, the definition of parliamentary diplomacy is proposed as the activity of a national representative body in the sphere of foreign policy, limited by the relevant competencies and aimed at ensuring political stability.
