In this article stage-by-stage development of large-scale housing in the territory of Russia before 1990 and stagnation in the last ten years caused by absence of general strategy of living environment amenities is viewed. Problems of elaboration of affordable housing new standards are explored, existing regulatory documents are analyzed. In that context Hong Kong experience in large-scale public housing is given as an example.

This article deals with a concept of one of the possible variants of opposing of destructive processes that lead to degradation and disappearance of Russian small settlements and towns, ruining areas identity basics, loss of places distinctive characteristics, living standards gap, loss of spirital alternative to the market. As an object - catalyst of positive changes and Russian areas regeneration, it is suggested to use the temple complex typology, with altered contents and purpose - a sort of «Science Town», that will follow the best traditions of Russian monasteries of past times, but will base on modern tasks and tendencies of social development and well-being of provincial Russian settlements.

Solutions of urgent problems of transport on a scale of growing metropolitan area through the introduction of a new transport system - String Transport are off ered. In the course projects of architecture students of Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, cited in this article, the technologies «sky way» are applied - routes, interchange nodes, production units are elaborated.

The description of model of a geochemical barrier with granular loading from the siliconized calcite for purifi cation of the polluted waters, characteristic for areas of oil production and ores of metals is given. High or extreme concentration of chlorides, sulfates, iron, manganese, copper, oil products, sulfi des, iodine acted as pollutants. Tables of decrease in concentration and extent of cleaning of the specifi ed pollutants are given at horizontal fi ltering through granular loading at various speeds of fi ltering in various sites of a geochemical barrier.

The historic reference on progressive construction of units of navigation locks system Severo-Donetskaya in 1911-1913 and of second “run” of navigation locks system Kotshetovsky in 2004-2008 is given. The comparative evaluation of funding, designing and construction of these objects is realized. Off ers about using of professional experience of highly qualifi ed hydraulic engineers of past times for modern navigation locks construction are made.

Method of calculating of transition curve required for design of roads turns, procedure of its construction insitu and its impact on ecological safety and reliability are presented. Questions of transition curves construction are considered. Analysis of calculation of trackway broadening is presented. Problems of clothoid application when tracing for organization of smooth slopes and increase of traffi c safety level are pulled down. Improvement of operational characteristics of design, construction and operation of roads develops production and economic level of road-construction enterprises, improves quality, reduces cost and improves ecological indexes of road-building materials, raises the eff ectiveness and ensures road traffi c safety.

On the basis of the analysis of problems and existing methods the method of calculation of productivity of the wind generator depending on the speed of a wind, diameter of a rotor, reducer effi ciency (the transfer device), generator, density of air, aerodynamic characteristics of blades is developed. On the example of on of the possible projects of use of the Enron Wind 600a wind generator of the German fi rm Tacke Windenergie GmbH in the territory of the Altai territory calculation for the developed technique is made.

For the purpose of solving of energy saving problem in housing and utility sector the ways of overcoming of contradictions between modern requirements for energy supply systems and the Rules of electric installation design, between standard rate of consumption and actual electric loads in modern fl ats are viewed. The severization of requirements for electric shock protection effi ciency, the ground systems upgrading, the indoor systems engineering status modernization, the infl uence of automatic management and control systems of water and heat supply, the using of security and fault detection systems in major repairs of electricity supply systems of fl at buildings are analyzed.
