PHARMACODYNAMICS OF ANTIHYPOXANTS AND THEIR CLINICAL USE

Levchenkova O.S., Novikov V.E., Pozhilova Y.V.

Abstract

The modern conception of pharmacodynamics of main groups of antihypoxants is reviewed in the article. The mechanisms of action of antihypoxants with direct and indirect action are considered on the basis of literature data and own experimental results. Issues of efficiency and perspectives of clinical use of drugs with antihypoxic action are discussed.

FUNCTIONAL ASYMMETRY OF BRAIN HEMISPHERES IN ALCOHOL DEPENDENCE

Novikova G.A., Solovyev A.G.

Abstract

With the goal to study peculiarities of functional asymmetry of the brain hemispheres in alcohol dependence, there has been done an analysis of current research data from Russian and foreign studies. It has been shown that alcohol is a neurochemical modulator of interhemispheric relations, it affects functional asymmetry of the brain hemispheres, perception processes, changes emotional background, influences motor asymmetry, the brain cortex functional activity. Alcohol intoxication is described by the right hemisphere lateralization and a laterodeviation of the brain hemispheres’ functional asymmetry to the left hemisphere. Studies of adolescents with beer alcoholization have shown left sided laterodeviation of functional asymmetry with dominating left-sided lateralization of motor signs, increased delta activity of the brain biorhythms. The received data indicate a substantial breach of functional asymmetry in alcohol users, in what connection the breach involve the motor and sensory levels.

Clinical pharmacology of cartilageprotectors

Rodichkin P.V., Shalamanov N.S.

Abstract

Cartilage protectors improve a cartilage metabolism, reduce or interrupt its destruction and render partial anti-inflammatory effect. Not only the preparations which are the structural analogues of the such cartilaginous tissue principal components as glycosaminoglycans (proteoglycans), but also other preparations of vegetative or animal origin having an impact on cartilage metabolism and proteolytic enzyme activity. Nutrients intake and metabolites excretion are achieved with joint movement with direct involvement of synovial fluid. For achievement of the highest therapeutic effect it must be borne in mind doses of preparations and to practice regular physical exercises. Methods of manual therapy and electroneurostimulation are effectively applied to restoration of the movement pattern lost as a result of disease.

Study of antihypoxic activities of metal complex selenium containing substances after their parenteral and enteralintroductions

Sosin D.V., Yevseyev A.V., Parfenov E.A., Pravdivtsev V.A., Yevseyeva M.A., Shabanov P.D.

Abstract

In experiments on mice undergone to an acute hypercapnic hypoxia and an acute hypobaric hypoxia a screening of antihypoxants among new selenium containing metal complex substances was performed after their intra-abdominal and oral introductions. It was found that substances πQ1983 and πQ2170 on both models of hypoxia make the defensive effects surpassing actions well-known antihypoxants such as amthizole and bemythil. It was shown that antihypoxiс affects of studied substances depend on their caused hypothermia. For the first time the protective action of selenium containing metal complex compounds was demonstrated after their introduction per os.

Possible mechanisms of action forantihypoxants πQ1968

Novikov V.Y., Markova Y.O., Parfenov E.A.

Abstract

In experiments on rats (in the tests of open field and elevated plus maze) and mice (test of hexenal-induced sleep) was showed that a new derivative of ascorbic acid πQ-1968 100 mg/kg had psychosedative action. In acute hypoxia the compound reduced the emotional anxiety of animals, stimulated the orienting-investigative activity, showed the stress-protective effect. Therefore, these effects of the compound on the functional state of the CNS in normoxia and hypoxia had a definite meaning in its antihypoxic effect.

Stress-limiting properties of classical phytoadaptogens

Barnaulov O.D., Osipova T.V.

Abstract

A brief review of the N. V. Lazarev school study of the pharmacological properties of the classical phytoadaptogens. As the result of this research was creation a theory of state nonspecific body increased resistance induced by phytoadaptogens, and the discovery of their stress-limiting properties. Presented own data of first time comparative evaluation of anti-stress action of phytoadaptogens in the model of immobilization stress. Revealed in own clinical studies a high efficiency of polycomponent phytotherapy, including a large number of phytoadaptogens in the treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis.

Production of emulsion crème from the Izabella grape seeds and the study of its pharmacocosmetological properties

Kerimova Z.K., Alieva K.Y.

Abstract

Using the method of polyfraction extraction, the oil, spiritus and water extractions from the Izabella grape seeds were received by means of hexane taking out, the emulsion crème of the water/oil type on that base was developed. The treatment effect of emulsion crème on the thermic and chemical burnings was determined in the experiment. During the primary cosmetology trial the emulsion crème was effective for removal and prevention of wrincklies.

ANTIOXIDANT PROTECTION SYSTEM DURING CHRONIC INFLAMATION OF THE CONNECTIVE TISSUE IN COWS

Nadein K.A.

Abstract

As clinical test material we studied the blood serum taken from clinically healthy animals (the control group) and animals with chronic inflammation of the connective tissue in an ankle joint (the experimental group). To study the antioxidant protection system enzyme component condition in cows we examined the following: catalase and glutathione peroxidase activity (as a substrate we used hydrogen dioxide and glutathione reductase), ferroxidase activity of ceruloplasmin, superoxide dismutase activity. A spectrocolorimeter «Specol 210» was used to determine the solutions absorbancy. The results shows the breakdown of membrane-bounded enzymes activity (such as glutathione reductase and superoxide dismutase). These enzymes characterize the antioxidant protection system condition. It is essential to examine the antioxidant protection system condition in animals with chronic inflammation of the connective tissue in an ankle joint to enrich our knowledge about the mechanism of metabolic disorder at this type of pathology, as well as to treat and correct possible complications.
