Abstract
Dr. Fetherstone (Victoria in Australia) reported such a case. A 35-year-old woman with many births, pregnant, she suddenly fell ill at night. Fetherstone found her in a state of collapse; the head was probed by a hydrocephalic head, a lot of blood was exuded from the uterus.

Д-ръ Fetherstone (Victoria въ Австраліи) сообщилъ такой случай. 35-ти лѣтняя, многороженица, беременная, ночью вдругъ заболѣла. Fetherstone засталъ ее въ состояніи колляпса; головка прощупывалась гидроцефалическою, изъ матки выдѣлялось много крови.
F. сдѣлалъ перфорацію головки, поворотъ и извлеченіе; такъ какъ кровотеченіе не прекращалось, онъ, подъ анестезіей эфиромъ, вскрылъ полость живота, перевязалъ маточныя артеріи; наложилъ пять лигатуръ на нижній отрѣзокъ матки, отрѣзалъ матку выше лигатуръ, вшилъ культю ея въ нижній уголъ брюшной раны и зашилъ послѣднюю. Больная выздоровѣла.
