Abstract
Having introduced in the literature the indications that strychnine given to pregnant women during the last 6-8 weeks favorably influenced the force of labor attempts), I decided to try this remedy in women in childbirth in suitable cases. As far as I remember, in the foreign literature of this year (where I could not find it), this tool has already been used by women in labor with success. The case that I am describing is so interesting in some relations that I allow myself to present it in a somewhat detailed exposition earlier, so that I have accumulated sufficient material to judge the merits of this tool.
