Development of continuity between the college and the medical organization for the beginning of the nurse career
Kondratova N., Kuchukova T., Kogut T.
摘要

The shortage of nurses is a global problem. At the same time, many graduates of medical colleges have difficulty finding employment. The formation of continuity between the college and the medical organization helps to solve the problems of employment of a graduate of a medical college and reduce the shortage of personnel in medical organizations. An algorithm of interaction for ensuring continuity between an educational institution and a potential employer in preparing a graduate for further employment, tested in practice, is presented.

Personalized medicine: new competencies for nurses in the era of the 4P approach. Еxperience of implementation in clinical practice at the EuroMedService clinical diagnostic centre
Averkieva L., Nikulin B.
摘要

Research objective: to analyse the transformation of the role of nurses in the context of the introduction of 4P medicine (predictive, preventive, personalised, participatory) based on the practical experience of the multidisciplinary clinical and diagnostic centre EuroMedService.

Materials and methods: An analysis of international experience and Russian practice in personalised medicine was conducted, and educational programmes and competency models for nurses in the context of the 4P approach were studied. The study is based on the conceptual developments of Academician M.A. Paltsov of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the practical experience of introducing metabolomic technologies at the EuroMedService clinic in partnership with the Chromolab scientific and laboratory complex.

Results: Key areas of transformation in nursing practice have been identified: nurse case manager, treatment coordinator, nutritionist consultant. Specific competencies for working with metabolomic profiles, personalised dietary supplements, peptide therapy and comprehensive cancer rehabilitation programmes have been identified. The need to integrate managerial, clinical, and consulting functions into a single professional role was justified.

Conclusions: Personalised medicine radically expands the professional competencies of nurses, requiring a systemic transformation of educational programmes and the creation of new professional standards. Practical experience in the clinic demonstrates the effectiveness of an integrative approach to training nurses to work in the context of 4P medicine.

Kondratova N., Agisheva N.
摘要

Research objective: to analyse the impact of modern patient-oriented technologies and architectural solutions on the professional activities of nurses using the example of the AO Meditsina clinic (Academician Roitberg's clinic).

Materials and methods: An analysis of innovative approaches to the organisation of nursing in a high-tech medical organisation certified according to the practical recommendations of Roszdravnadzor and internationally accredited by JCI was conducted. Patient monitoring systems, architectural features of the medical space and their impact on the quality of nursing care were studied.

Results: It was found that the integration of modern patient monitoring technologies (motion sensors, alarm button systems, QR codes for access to medical information) and a well-thought-out architecture of the medical space contribute to improving the quality of nursing care and reducing professional burnout among medical staff.

Conclusions: The patient-centred model of healthcare organisation transforms the role of nurses, turning them from executors of orders into key participants in the treatment process, capable of making independent decisions within their competence.

From the cinema screen to the nurse's office: debunking myths about emergency contraception as a professional competence
Nikolle L., Danilov G.
摘要

Objective: To determine the role of nurses in debunking myths about emergency contraception and forming evidence-based understanding among patients of various age groups.

Materials and methods: Analysis of scientific literature on emergency contraception issues was conducted, data from a nationwide sociological study by Gedeon Richter company among 1,300 women aged 18–45 years (May–June 2025) were examined, and the influence of cinematographic images on reproductive health stereotype formation was considered.

Results: According to the study data, 91.1% of Russian women have encountered unprotected sexual intercourse at least once, and 62% have used emergency contraception. It was established that the main motive for using emergency contraceptive drugs is conscious family planning (47.8% – "children should be wanted"). Persistent misconceptions about the mechanism of action and safety of the drugs were identified.

Conclusions: Nurses occupy a significant place in the reproductive education system, working as part of a team with the attending physician and having the opportunity to debunk myths about sexual issues in a confidential environment. Using elements of popular culture in educational work increases the effectiveness of communication with patients.

Preventive Medicine and Transformation of Medical Personnel Roles. Experience of Atlas Clinic in the context of healthy longevity strategy
Lemberg K., Milay I.
摘要

Background. The epidemiological transition from infectious to non-communicable diseases has created new challenges for healthcare systems worldwide. In Russia, non-communicable diseases have become the leading cause of premature mortality, necessitating a paradigm shift towards preventive medicine approaches. Traditional healthcare models based on standardized protocols and population-based screening programs demonstrate limited effectiveness in meeting increasing demands for personalized medical care.

Objective. To analyze the transformation of medical personnel roles in the context of preventive medicine implementation and evaluate innovative approaches to healthcare delivery based on the experience of Atlas Clinics in Moscow.

Methods. This analytical study examines the practical implementation of preventive medicine technologies, personalized nutrition strategies, and digital health monitoring systems. The analysis encompasses the evolution of nursing competencies, integration of telemedicine technologies, and development of interdisciplinary care coordination models.

Results. The transformation of nursing roles revealed four key competency areas: digital literacy and big data analytics, clinical nutrition expertise, psychological counseling and motivational interviewing techniques, and interdisciplinary care coordination. Corporate wellness programs showed increased demand from IT and fintech companies, expanding beyond traditional industrial sectors.

Conclusions. Successful implementation of preventive medicine requires systematic transformation of all healthcare delivery components, from diagnostic technologies to professional competencies of medical personnel. Nurses emerge as important coordinators of long-term patient care and active participants in health management processes. The integration of advanced technologies, digital monitoring, and personalized therapy, complemented by highly qualified medical personnel, represents the most effective approach to achieving healthy longevity goals. The economic efficiency of preventive strategies demonstrates significant potential for scaling to the national healthcare system level.

Clinical Implications. The study provides a methodological framework for transforming traditional healthcare delivery models towards preventive medicine approaches, emphasizing the critical role of nursing professionals in personalized care coordination and long-term patient engagement.

The role of nurses in communication with patients and their families: an analysis of a palliative-care hotline experience
Gamzaeva M.
摘要

This article explores the communicative role of nurses in palliative care based on the analysis of calls to a palliative-care hotline in 2024. The study aimed to identify the most common requests from patients and relatives and to develop practical recommendations for nursing staff. Calls were classified into informational (67.1 %), legal (14.1%), medical (12.2%), pain-management (10.1%) and psychological (6.3%) categories. The material was processed using thematic analysis, content analysis and semantic clustering.

The results indicate that patients primarily require pain control, emotional support and clear prognostic information, whereas relatives need navigation through the palliative-care system, legal clarifications and anxiety reduction. Major communication barriers include aggression, time constraints and a lack of clear distribution of responsibilities among healthcare professionals. Recommended strategies for nurses comprise emotional containment and normalization, psychoeducation, crisis-plan development, and enhanced skills in legal matters and informing patients and families about palliative care. The findings highlight the importance of developing nurses’ communicative and psychological competencies to improve the quality of palliative care.
