MEDICAL TACTICS FOR FIRST DETECTED PULMONARY FOCAL MASSES OF SMALL DIAMETER (LESS THAN 2 CM)

Chernousov A., Pavlov Y., Rybin V., Vychuzhanin D., Nurutdinov R.

Abstract

Current studies can detect pulmonary focal masses of the smallest diameter. At the same time, great problems arise in their differential diagnosis. Removal of pathological pulmonary focal masses of small size (0.5 to 2 cm) is indicated in all patients who are found to have the latter without preoperative morphological verification of the diagnosis.

Gizinger O., Ziganshin O., Ziganshina T., Shemetova M.

Abstract

Clinical and immunological examinations were made in 95 reproductive-aged women with inflammatory diseases of the urinary system, the etiological agents of which were Mycoplasma genitalium and herpes simplex virus 1 and 2. The found imbalance of clinical parameters and defects in innate adaptive immunity and levels of the cytokines interleukin (IL)-1, IL2, tumor necrosis factor, and interferon-y in the cervical secretion was successfully corrected by incorporating Roncoleukin® 500,000 U diluted in 5.0 ml of saline and injected on a gynecological tampon for 2 hours every 10 days into a package of therapeutic measures during mainstay therapy.

Maiko O., Savelova E.

Abstract

The level of C-terminal telopeptides arising from collagen type II degradation during 3-month therapy using chondroitin sulfate (Structum), its combination with glucosamine hydrochloride (Artra) and Zeel T was estimated in patients with osteoarthritis. Better values were observed in gonarthrosis, particularly when Artra was used at the early stages of the disease; worse values were seen in Stage III osteoarthritis and its duration > 10 years.

The enlarged spleen in LPDs may be both primary and secondary to disseminated tumors at other sites. The term splenic lymphoma (SL) is discussed in detail; LPDs that may be considered as SL. The application of an examination algorithm is one of the important components of the diagnosis of SL. A diagnostic algorithm is given with an indication of current studies.
