Speeds of agricultural tractors
Abstract
Presentation method for speed series of agricultural tractors in the matrix form was proposed and described. That to a certain extent reveals the kinematic scheme of gear boxes and ways of creation and modification of their constructions depending on specified requirements. The matrix form of speed series presentation helps to develop new, more effective kinematic schemes for compound gear boxes of agricultural tractors.

Theoretical investigations of wheeled tractor frame oscillations during the operation in tractive mode
Abstract
Possibility of self-excitation of wheeled tractor frame oscillations in longitudinal plane during the operation in tractive mode is theoretically substantiated. Dependence of rolling radius of a pneumatic wheel on vertical load and on driving moment level, mathematical model describing pneumatic wheel rolling under variable vertical load and two-mass lineal model describing tractor frame oscillations in longitudinal plane are used.

Topological optimization of a truck suspension level
Abstract
Topological optimization method based on finite-element modelling is described, and tasking of force diagrams synthesis for heave loaded machines parts is given. The force diagrams synthesis for lower control arm of independent suspension for truck of fully loaded mass 36 ton in space permitted by aggregates arrangement is exemplified. Recommendations concerning the method use in solution of similar tasks are given.

Substantiation of assessment criteria for the suitability of cotton plant varieties to harvesting with vertical spindle cotton pickers
Abstract
Assessment criteria for suitability of cotton plant to harvesting with vertical spindle cotton pickers are theoretically substantiated, taking into account width of cotton bush, height of lower cotton boll location, sizes of green and dehisced bolls. Suitability assessment of released and promising varieties using specified criteria is given.

Performance improvement of a potato harvester elevator
Abstract
Problems of improvement of a potato harvester elevator performance are considered. Performance quality is determined by the intensity of the separation of soil and degree of preservation of the tubers. Application of cam rapping device can improve a quality of soil separation in primary elevator as well as in the harvester as a whole.
