RESEARCH AND CALCULATION OF THE CONNECTED DIMENSIONAL CHAINS BY THE EXAMPLE OF PROVIDING INDICATORS OF ROTARYINDEXING TABLES ACCURACY

Abstract

In this article, we present the results of analysis of dimensional links in a structure of a rotary-dividing table. We show that dimensional links have a bearing on indicators of geometric accuracy. It is revealed that the dimensional chains which describe a process of forming accuracy indicators are related. It is established that some components of the dimensional chain change their direction in the process of achieving accuracy. In order to decrease alabour input of assembly some proposals based on the result of calculationare developed.

PROBLEMS OF CONTACT ADAPTABILITY IN CONDITIONALLY FIXED CONNECTIONS

Abstract

In the contact area of conditionally fixed joints under cyclic loads, partial slip zones arise. Mutual movement of contact surfaces is accompanied by fretting processes, which inevitably leads to wear and destruction of contact elements. The article presents the direction of tribology, in which the theory of contact adaptability develops - a phenomenon in which sliding in the contact area ceases or significantly decreases after the first few load cycles. The similarity of the behavior of such systems with elastoplastic bodies [1, 2] led various authors to suggest that they can be applied to the Melan theorem [3], that is, to assume the existence of a field of residual stresses that prevents further sliding.

FORMATION OF AN ELASTIC WAVE SOURCE IN THE HOUSING OF THE SPINDLE ASSEMBLY DUE TO A DEFECT ON THE ROLLING ROAD OF THE BEARING EXTERNAL RING

Abstract

In connection with the transition to the maintenance of technological equipment in actual condition, the control of developing defects during its operation is relevant. However, the assessment of the level of development of the defect is difficult due to the inaccessibility to the place of its formation without significant disassembly of the equipment. In this connection, the problem arises of assessing the level of development of a defect by the level of arising elastic waves propagating through the body parts. The article proposes a model for the formation of a vibrational signal in support of the rolling spindle of a metal cutting machine for a defect in the form of spalling on the raceway of the outer ring of the bearing. In the presence of a defect, the balance of elastic deformation forces is violated in the contact zone of the ball with the raceways of the outer and inner rings. As a result, the ball strikes the raceway of the outer ring. Estimating the effect of the impact by the recovery coefficient of speed, on the basis of the law of conservation of energy during impact, an expression is obtained for the kinetic energy, which transfers into the internal energy spent on deformation of the surface of the outer bearing ring. Assuming that the indicated kinetic energy completely transforms into the potential energy of elastic deformation of the surface layer, the amplitude of the elastic wave is determined depending on the ratio of the size of the defect.

Abstract

The article describes the basics of the kinetic theory of strength and the thermofluctuation mechanism of destruction of the friction surfaces of solids during wear. The relationship of strength with the mechanical and physical constants of a solid is analyzed. The kinetics of the state of materials of the surfaces of friction pairs in the process of wear is studied. The temperature-time dependence of changes in the physical, mechanical parameters of materials and the destruction of surfaces and near-surface layers of friction pairs is confirmed. The basic principles of the physical model of damage to friction surfaces are formulated and the activation parameters of the thermofluctuation model of their destruction are estimated. A calculation model of friction wear based on the thermofluctuation fracture concept is proposed.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE HEAT MODEL OF THE SPINDLE SUPPORT METAL CUTTING MACHINE

Abstract

Based on the use of the electrothermal analogy in describing the heat transfer process, an engineering technique has been developed for determining the thermal state of the supports of spindle assemblies, which does not require «heavy» software packages based on the application of the finite element method. The design features of modern control rooms made it possible to reasonably present the thermal model in the form of a flat model. The principles of dividing the blocks of a flat model into enlarged elements are proposed, taking into account the geometry features of the calculated structure and heat sources. A technique has been developed for determining the thermal resistance of an element of a calculated thermal model taking into account boundary conditions. The use of enlarged elements of the thermal model makes it easy to assess the influence of technological features of processing and assembly of individual structural parts on its thermal state. The presented methodology for developing a thermal model can be used to estimate stationary thermal processes of any axisymmetric structures with insignificant temperature variations.

STUDY OF TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE INDICATORS OF RESTORED MNP

Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of technical and economic performance indicators of restored MNP in the processing of steels. As an assessment of the performance of the cutting edge of the plate, two evaluation criteria were taken: the rate of loss of the value of the face Km in € / cm3 and the cost of removing 1 m3 of chips S (1m3) in € during finishing and rough turning. The technique of obtaining the maximum performance of the process at the minimum cost of recovered plates is developed. Comparative tests of purchased and restored products in experimental and industrial conditions were carried out. As a result of the conducted experimental researches it is established that at final turning loss of cost of a face of a plate Km is 3-4 times lower at the restored plates , than at purchased. When working on rough modes restored plates criterion Km in 2-2. 5 times less.

THERMOPLASTIC STRENGTHENING OF ITEMS WITH HEAT-RESISTANT COATINGS

Abstract

The article provides a scheme for the formation of residual stresses during thermoplastic hardening (TPU) of coated parts. The statement of the problem is explained as follows: study of the effects on heat resistance, creep, fatigue resistance of heat-resistant alloys, which leads to an improvement in the operational and strength characteristics of GTE parts. Determination of residual stresses in the surface layer of thermally hardened parts decided the selection of different hardening mechanisms for different temperature fields and compared with the temperature in homogeneous materials, which should be determined with heat-resistant coatings. When calculating the residual stresses in the elastic-plastic zone, the numerical method was used. Were manufactured by serial technology and subjected to thermoplastic hardening. Developed gamma targets for critical engine parts. The experimental results of studies of residual stresses at TPU are given. The research results showed that operational performance has higher operating performance than hardened by serial technology.

DEVELOPMENT OF DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY OF ORTHOPEDIC INSOLES IN CAD-CAE-CAM SYSTEMS

Abstract

The paper proposes a method of designing individual orthopedic insoles, selected rational design and material of insoles. Designed in OrthoModel Model insoles in solid format, which was exported to the STL file format. Then, using the FreeCAD program, the STL format was exported to STEP, so that the resulting model was more adapted for further application and analysis. In the ANSYS environment, a finite element model of deformation of insoles was developed and the behavior of the insole arch material under different loads and combinations of EVA materials of different hardness was studied. Stresses and deformations of the insole arch during operation are obtained depending on the combination of the material and the geometric parameters of the foot, which are confirmed by the results of experimental studies. The calculated values of deformation of insoles are taken into account in the subsequent programming of processing insoles on CNC machines. Having a 3D model of the insole, it can be made not only on the CNC machine, but also printed on a 3D printer. The cost of production of individual orthopedic insoles is calculated, which showed that the proposed technology is quite competitive.

RESEARCH OF SHRINKING OF CHIP UNDER TURNING OF STEELS BY RESTORED PLATES

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the deformation of the shear layer during the treatment of steels with reduced MNE. Comparison of shrinkage shavings during rough turning of steels showed that processing modes have a great value on the shrinkage value. So, with an increase in the cutting depth from 1 mm to 2.5 mm, chip shrinkage for Sandvik Coromant inserts decreases from 2.9 to 2.6, and for reduced ones it increases from 1.8 to 2.0. Feed increase from 0.1 to 0.5 mm / rev. reduces chip shrinkage from 3.5 to 2.9 for new inserts and from 2.4 to 1.8 for reconditioned ones. This is due to the fact that the process of plastic deformation is greatly influenced by the shape of the front surface of the restored plates, which in this case corresponds to the optimal conditions for chip formation. As a result of experimental studies, it was found that the obtained shape of the front surface of the plates provides stable chip breaking and chip cutting.

THE STUDY OF THE PROCESS OF STICKING PARTICLES OF THE WORKPIECE MATERIAL ON THE ABRASIVE GRAIN DURING THE GRINDING OF WORKPIECES MADE OF PLASTIC MATERIALS

Abstract

Studies were carried out to identify the relationship between the intensity of adhesion of the workpiece material particles on abrasive grains (AZ) of the grinding wheel with the physical and mechanical properties of the grains. The mathematical dependence for the calculation of the voltage at the contact area of the clip with AZ after the AU out of contact with the workpiece is obtained. Numerical simulation of local temperature when microreserve (scratching) samples of steel 3KH3M3F abrasive grains of various materials. The deformation of the adhesion and the stresses resulting from this deformation acting on the connection of the adhesion with grains from materials having different coefficients of linear expansion are calculated. It is established that with the increase of the difference of coefficients of linear expansion of the workpiece materials and AZ, the stresses contributing to the separation of the adhesion from the AZ surface increase. This makes it possible to predict a lower intensity of sticking of the workpiece material on the AZ of such materials. In the course of experimental studies, micro-cutting of samples by single abrasive grains was carried out. It was found that to a lesser extent wear out and salted AZ from elbor. Elbor has the maximum value of the coefficient of thermal conductivity among the tested materials and to a lesser extent wears out, so the local temperatures when cutting grains from Elbor are minimal. The difference between the coefficients of linear expansion of the material adhesion and elbor has a maximum value. Therefore, the contact area of AZ CBN with adhesion there is tension, contributing to the separation adhesion from this surface. As a result, AZ was ranked from various materials according to the criteria characterizing their wear and salting. Confirmed identified analytically the relationship between the intensity of brining of grain with a coefficient of linear expansion and thermal characteristics of the materials AZ.

VARIABLE LOADING OF NONLINEAR PLATES AND SHALLOW SHELLS

Abstract

The article discusses the deformation of plates and shallow shells, taking into account the geometric nonlinearity and plastic deformations under variable loading. In the case of an elastoplastic material, unloading, secondary plastic deformations, material compressibility are taken into account. Geometric and physical relations and solving nonlinear differential equations of the theory of flexible gentle shells of elastoplastic material are given for an arbitrary loading cycle. The relationship between the intensity of stresses and strains, using the generalized Mazing principle, allows us to investigate the deformation of flexible plates and shells of cyclically ideal, strengthened and softened materials. In the expressions for the internal forces and internal moments, additional forces and additional moments are taken into account, taking into account the history of loading of plates and shells on the previous n-1-th loading.
