Pharmacoepydemiology and pharmacoeconomics -the new trends of evidence medicine

Petrov V.I.

Abstract

Pharmacoepidemology and pharmacoeconomics are described as new trends in evidence-based medicine. They aim at developing optimal treatment patterns based on their cost, efficiency and life quality importance. Their application will result in both decreased loss of work ability and all kinds of costs.

Abramova M.V., Bakumov P.A.

Abstract

These studies took part to provide pharmacotherapy of ulcer disease and non-function dyspepsia associated with HP by using cost-effectivness analysis, real-time inquiry of gastroenterologists, patients and pharmaceutical, retrospective pharmacoepydimiologic analysis and short clinical study of eradication of duodenum ulcer disease with generics of azitromycin.

Comparative investigation of the renal function and morphofunctional parameters of the heart in prolonged treatment of cardiac failure with carvedilol and bisoprolol in aged patients

Statsenko M.E., Sporova O.E., Belenkova S.V., Ivanova D.A.

Abstract

The inclusion of bisoprolol and carvedilol in complex treatment in elderly patients with chronic heart failure improved heart tolerance to volume haemodinamic load, total and local contractility of left ventricular myocardium, decreased diastolic dysfunction. The renal function significantly improved in all patients treated with carvedilol (nonselective b-bloker with the ability to vasodilatation) compared to those allocated to standard therapy including bisoprolol.

Search of non-peptide blockers ofthe proton-sensitive ion channels

Litasova E.V., Doumpis M.A., Kulikov S.V., Piotrovskii L.B., Kryshtal O.A.

Abstract

Influence of cycvalol and dibunol on the erythrocyte haemolysis induced by copper ions and hydroperoxide

Dib K., Ostrovsky O.V., Zaitsev V.G., Verovsky V.E., Simonyan A.V.

Abstract

We compared effects of two phenolic antioxidants, cycvalonum and (2,6-ди-трет-бутил-4-метилфенол) by using the model of hemolysis erythrocytes induced by copper was found that, cycvalonum has a more protective effect than 2,6-ди-трет-бутил-4-метилфенол.

Likhodeeva V.A., Spasov A.A., Mandrikov V.B., Fatianova T.E.

Abstract

More than 80% of the yong swimmers develop disadaptation syndrome during intensive training manifested by the deviations of the biochemical parameters in blood and urine. This condition requires certain correction and development of preventive strategies.

Influence of the prolonged mildronat application in the complex therapy of the cardiac failure on the quality of life and morphofunctional parameters of heart

Ivahnenko I.V., Govoruha O.A., Kulichenko L.L., Sporova O.E., Statsenko M.E.

Abstract

The influence of long therapy with mildronat on the quality of life and morphofunctional parameters of the heart was studied in the remote period in the sick people with chronical cardiac insufficiency (CCI) developed after the suffered myocardial infaction. The application of mildronat in the complex therapy of CCI has led to the improvement of CCI course: functional class has increased, the dynamics of basic morphofunctional parameters of the heart has been seen, systolic function of myocardium has improved. At the same time normalization of physchphysiological status and considerable improvement quality of life of these people has been observed.

Suprachiasmatic nucleus of hypothalamus: structuralpeculiarities associated with high nonspecific reactivity

Potanin M.B.

Abstract

After screening the animals with high (HR group) and low (LR) nonspecific reactivity level hypothalamic suprachiasmatic nuclei were studied in details. It was established for these nuclei in rats of HR group to have more dense and homogenous neuronal structure, low glial cell/neuron ratio, and prevalence of neuron associations near dorsoventral margin of nucleus. These findings were connected to variety of systemic reactions of HR and LR animals in chronic stress.

Principles of the medical interview organization

Zhura V.V.

Abstract

Nowadays a medical interview is believed to be something more than mere case history taking. It is an interactive process and requires a number of communication skills. Development of these skills will not only maximize the amount of correct clinically important information but also increase therapeutic compliance and lead to better clinical out-comes.
