The paper discusses importance and potential of scenario technologies in the management of companies. The administration of Russian enterprises in conditions of high competitiveness have to replace methods and instruments of forecasting from passive to active. The advantages and limitations of using scenario technologies in the management of the company are identified.

Starting from market reforms and transition from a command economy to one based on competition a new type economic entities appeared in Russia, those are corporate structures. The appearance of such structures in the Russian economy, their formation and sustainable development are, of course, the most important trends. The article describes the main theoretical and methodological aspects of modern views on strategic management in corporate structures that operate in national economy.
