Abstract

This article examines the issue of cooperation in the development of Arctic tourism between China and Russia. The great potentials of the tourism economy in the Arctic and many problems are shown. The coincidence of the Chinese initiative “Ice Silk Road” with the Arctic strategy of Russia, cooperation with China in the field of Arctic tourism and became the best choice for Russia is presented. Promising areas of Chinese-Russian tourism cooperation in the Arctic are shown.
