THE MAIN AREA OF THE TOWN PLANNING: CENTRAL, MIDDLE, PERIPHERAL; INDUSTRIAL TERRITORIES IN THE CITY STRUCTURE
Abstract
The article reveals the characteristics of the main urban zones: central, middle, peripheral. The place and the role of industrial areas in the structure of the major planning zones of the city are examined. The priority areas for change and a new functional content of degraded industrial areas based on the location in the central or peripheral area of the median are identifi ed.
PARTICIPANTS AND COMPONENTS OF STREET SPACE. URBAN TRANSPORT POLICY
Abstract
Article focuses on the questions: who and what forms a street space, who and in what hierarchy is involved in traffic, what are the problems in the transport policy of the Russian cities, what is the transport policy of progressive foreign cities.
BACKGROUND OF THE APPLICATION OF THE ERGONOMIC RESEARCH IN DESIGN PROCESS
Abstract
The article analyzes the conditions and background for the introduction of ergonomic research in design process. A man and his activities in terms of production have always been the main subject of ergonomic investigation in order to improve the working environment, tools and working conditions. For more than 60 years of existence, the priorities of the research have changed due to the emergence of new trends and specific problems. It is quite obvious that design and ergonomics are mutually conditioned and their simultaneous study and application are very important.
DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND MODERN RESTORATION OF ORTHODOX CHURCHESIN the first half of the 19th century IN THE SOUTHERN URALS
Abstract
In article the wide range of the questions connected with designing of churches of Orenburg Diocese in first half XIX centuries and their restoration now is considered. Based on the analysis of archival materials, studies of the churches and the memories of eyewitnesses identified the features of design and construction of churches in the first half of the XIXth century. The basic problems of restoration of temples in Southern Ural are considered.
LANDSCAPE AND ECOLOGIC PROBLEMS OF A CITY ON THE EXAMPLE OF INNER AREAS OF RECREATIONAL WATERS OF SAMARA
Abstract
The article considers the problem of inner city areas of recreational waters of Samara. Their typological relation to town planning grounds, recreational use, sanitary and hygienic condition, landscape and environmental conditions, visual aesthetic and compositional characteristics are viewed.
ESPECIALLY URBAN TRANSFORATSY FORMER INDUSTRIAL AREAS (EKO-TEСH CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF SWEDEN)
Abstract
We consider the question of urban transformation of former industrial areas in modern cities. The legacy of the industrial past, city gets the vast areas not functioning plants, river ports, storage areas, burdened with a dysfunctional environment. The including of these areas in the functioning urban fabric is proposed. From the analysis of foreign experience, we can see that such initiatives can become the main vector of development of modern construction and urban technologies.
FOREIGN AND RUSSIAN EARTHEN BUILDING EXPERIENCE
Abstract
The objects of research are the earth and unfired clay as building materials used for architectural forming. The article shows the research regarding the traditional techniques of foreign and Russian Earthen Architecture, which offers a new development prospective of architecture of different times. The usage of those techniques allowed the construction of energy-efficient houses, which means that in spite of the weather conditions, the living standard in those houses is quite high and at the same time the use of heating and airconditioning systems is minimized. Building technologies and their historical development are viewed.
STUDY OF SORBENT OBR -1 CHARACTERISTIC FOR TERTIARY TREATMENT OF DRINKING WATER FROM HEAVY METAL IONS AND ORGANIC SUBSTANCES
Abstract
High sorption capacity of OBR-1 in relation to the studied substances is determined. It is shown that the desorption (elution) of the studied organic and nonorganic compounds from OBR-1 doesn’t practically occur in conditions of getting treated water (pH, temperature, concentration). The article describes the theoretical study of organic and nonorganic compounds at particular structural units of OBR-1 using the up-to-date quantum-chemical method that makes it possible to represent the experiment and theorybased models of adsorption units.
NATURAL AND WASTE WATER TREATMENT BY ELECTROCHEMICAL FILTRATION
Abstract
STUDING QUALITY CHARACTERISTICS OF SURFACE RUNOFF COMING FROM RAILWAYS
Abstract
The article provides the results of the research aimed at determining and studying quality characteristics, i.e. concentration of pollutants, of surface runoff from railways. The research was made at Samara railway stations. The classification of railways is given according to ballast pollution which in its turn influences the concentration of pollutants in the surface runoff. Criteria for putting the railway in the appropriate classification item have been worked out. There have been found and mathematically described the dependence of pollutants’ concentration in the surface runoff from railway ballast pollution.
ASSESSMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND HYDRAULIC FACILITIES CONDITION OF LAKE SERNOYE (SERNOVODSK SETTLMENT, SERGIEVSK DISTRICT, SAMARA REGION)BASED ON MONITORING RESULTS OF 2012
Abstract
Natural observation material of environmental and hydraulic facilities’ conditions during 2012 was considered. Pressure and culvert facilities were visually examined. Conclusions were made and the recommendations were given for repairing and reconstructing the object in order to provide further reliable operation of environmental and hydraulic facilities.
WORK PRODUCTION PLAN OF BUILD PROCEDURE OF CELLULAR RADIOTELEPHONE TOWER
Abstract
The project realized in the Eastern Siberia mountains is viewed. Bilding-up of a tower with 22 m boom. The height of a tower is 70 m, the weight is 30 t. Unusual reeving scheme is proposed, cable diameter and erection diagram for the most difficult block are selected.
ANALYSIS OF CORRUGATED AND UNEVEN SURFACE INFLUENCE ON HYDRAULIC RESISTIVITY AND HEAT EMISSION FOR TURBULENT CURRENTS OF LIQUID FLOW IN INDUSTRIAL PIPES
Abstract
Features of corrugated and uneven surface of pipes and grooves and their influence on hydraulic resistivity and heat emission for turbulent currents of liquid flow are analyzed. In autonomous area the resistivity of pipes cannot be found by using a single geometric parameter (equivalent height of roughness peaks), which is typical for even-granular, or sandy unevenness. It is proposed to use several geometrical parameters (d/D, t/D, etc.) for theoretical and experimental study of occurring wave moves in the liquid flow in pipes. Methods and results for modeling wave motions by using different turbulence creators for wall layers (i.e. diametrical grooves, wire ruts and spirals) and precise instruments. Main influence of corrugated and uneven pipe surfaces on structure changes in the wall layers of fluid flow was identified. Practical guidelines for measurements of hydraulic resistivity of the pipes in engineering networks and systems are described.
TECHNICAL SAFETY QUESTIONS OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS EXPLOITATION
Abstract
The article deals with current questions related to security in the school sector in the city and in the countryside. On the example of a school located in Koshkinsky area the results of a survey of school complex are shown. Recommendations to strengthen the damaged structures and to ensure the safe operation of the school complex are proposed. Photos of the fragments school with injuries and after the reconstruction are provided.
