PRINCIPLES OF ARCHITECTURAL AND PLANNING STRUCTURE OF BUSINESS CENTERS IN THE HISTORIC URBAN RESIDENTIAL AREAS
Abstract
The article touches on transforming and changing architectural and spatial environment of the city. Three main approaches to the reconstruction of historically valuable areas are identifi ed. A detailed analysis of the historical area in Samara is presented and a proposal of zoning area for a social business center is given.
CITY AND AGRICULTURAL CLUSTER
Abstract
The article examines the questions of the interaction of city structure and countryside spatial systems. There is an overview of the international and local experience, giving a range of various examples of interaction between the city and the countryside in conclusion the agricultural cluster is considered as a solution of the problem of the city and the countryside interaction. The concept of the cluster is explained and there is given information about its function and its constituent objects.
CABLE-STAYED BRIDGES IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE CITY IMAGE
Abstract
This article analyzes the artistically-shaped qualities of cable-stayed bridges, their place and role in the structure of the conception of the city. The article describes the different forms of expression of these qualities in changing situations of the city environment. The problem of the functioning of the cable-stayed bridges in the structure of the city image does not become an object of special studies earlier. Studying the cable-stayed bridges from a totally different point of view is the novelty of this article. Researches in the bridge building assume special importance in sight of the increase of the cable-stayed bridges number built in Russia, and in sight of the optimization of this type construction.
TYPOLOGY OF THE HISTORICAL CITY ESTATE ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE CITY OF SAMARA
Abstract
In article attempt of definition of the concept «city estate» is made. As a result of the analysis of historical building of Samara the typology of city estates by such criteria as class accessory, density, the altitude, a proportional system of building, degree of development and placement of rather historical kernel of the city is revealed. The emphasis is placed on need of preservation of all variety of city farmstead typology.

THE RELEVANCE OF THE RECONSTRUCTION THAT CHOOSES INDUSTRIAL DWELLINGS OF THE 60-IES IN RUSSIA
Abstract
In Russia today, 60 to 80 % are residential buildings Industrial buildings 60’s, received a popular name «Khrushchevka,» prett y simple massive structures that serve prett y houses for thousands of people. But the high degree of moral and physical deterioration of buildings, lack of budget funds to replace them with a new comfortable accommodation causes att ention of architects and designers to the problem of reconstructing the industrial housing. Today, thanks to modern technology and materials, it is possible to carry out reconstruction activities in order to extend the life of residential areas of the industrial building 60’s and give them a new look.
THE IMPACT OF MODERN LEGAL AND REGULATORY DOCUMENTS TO THE FUNCTIONAL AND SPACE-PLANNING STRUCTURE OF THE BUILDING PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Abstract
The article considers the current legal documents in order to eliminate the pre-school organizations, adopted at the federal and regional levels. The analysis of the applicability of each event in the urban environment of Samara is made. The dependence of the change in space-planning and functional structure of the building preschool organization of the introduction of new legal regulations is defined. Denotes the possibility of an integrated approach to addressing the problem of pre-school education.
ABOUT DEFINITION OF FUNCTIONING RELIABILITY OF WATER SUPPLY AND WASTEWATER SYSTEMS
Abstract
The common procedure of definition of functioning reliability of water supply and wastewater systems is proposed. This procedure contains three stages. At the first stage the time of being in working and improper states is defined by using apparatus of queueing theory. At the second stage operable and unoperable states of improper states are determined with engineering simulation methods. At the third stage the work time of an object and the time of its being in critical and failed conditions are defi ned. This procedure is demonstrated by the example of 2-nd lift pump station.
CALCULATION OF FRICTION LOSSES COEFFICIENT IN COMBINED SEWER PIPS
Abstract
A result of experimental studies of coeffi cient of hydraulic friction on depending on the form of bott om microrelief is submitt ed. The comparative analysis of calculation of friction losses coeffi cient with the results of measurements made in the combined sewer pips in France is given. Further research in this area will improve the existing mathematical models of water movement in the storm sewer networks.
STATUS AND PROSPECTS OF WASTEWATER SYSTEMS RENOVATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
Abstract
Information about the main directions of wastewater systems renovation in the Republic of Armenia is presented. The apparatus for receiving of surface flow in sewage system is proposed. This mechanism provides an opportunity to roll back the following monitored indexes: organic material concentration, dissolved oxygen, oxidationreduction potential, oxygen uptake rate by active sludge. The research points at adequate security of biomass by oxygen in the process of aeration and at practicability of use of ceramic aerators from armenian tuff for the first stage of wastewater systems renovation.
USE OF ORTHOGONAL HYDROTURBINES IN LOW-HEAD HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER PLANTS
Abstract
Orthogonal hydroturbines constructions used in lowhead hydro-electric power plants are viewed. A new model of hydroturbine for this type of power plants is presented. Exploration technology and engineered physical models of developed hydroturbine construction are described. The results of hydraulic tests of conditions of waterfl ow of orthogonal turbine blades are given.

The article shows the problems of vegetal invasion and pollution of small rivers. The methods and used equipment for cleaning of water in different periods of the development of society are described. There are recommendations and information of using dredgers in Samara Region.
GEOENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS IN QUARRYING OF MINERAL RAW MATERIALS FOR BUILDING MATERIALS PRODUCTION
Abstract
Geoenvironmental problems in quarrying, transportation and primary treatment of mineral raw stuff for building materials production are viewed. Main types of impurities are described. Ways to resolve ecological problems are determined. To reduce geoenvironmental tensions it is recommended to intensify efforts for entrainment of manmade products in building materials production.
VLIYaNIE POVREZhDENIY NARUZhNOY USTANOVKI NA EKOLOGIYu OKRUZhAYuShchEY TERRITORII
Abstract
There are given results of engineering inspectation of metal outdoor units of petrochemical industry enterprise. The main causes of damages, their consequences and impact on the environment are shown. Replacement of damaged structures in the conditions of operating production with unloading overlap by posting of existing apparatus to the overlying structures intact constructs is offered. Preference is given to protection of metal structures of special swelling compositions.
EFFICIENCY INCREASE OF GAS-TURBINE INSTALLATION BY INJECTION OF WATER VAPOR IN THE NK-37 ENGINE COMBUSTION CHAMBER
Abstract
The analysis of work of the gas-turbine GTU-25 installation on the basis of the aviation NK-37 engine is made at injection of water vapor in the combustion chamber, advantages and restrictions of this way are described, graphic dependences of the main indicators of overall performance of gas-turbine installation on a consumption of injectable water vapor are given to the combustion chamber.
