Significance of immunohistochemistry method for diagnosing of stomach tumors

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the diagnosis of malignant tumors of the stomach, analyzing divergences of diagnoses after routine morphological researches and immunomorphological methods with monoclonal antibodies using, assessment of proliferative activity of different groups of tumors of this localization. Our investigation demonstrated that in the group of gastric tumors mistaken primary diagnoses were identified in 33 of 62 cases (53.2%). Proliferative score estimation is too important to determine the potential for malignancy of gastrointestinal stromal tumors and the degree of differentiation of neuroendocrine cancers.

Modeling of severe hyperhomocysteinemia in rats

Abstract

To date it’s proved that the elevated homocysteine levels in the blood is an independent risk factor for a number of diseases. The animal model of rare severe form of hyperhomocysteinemia may be necessary to study aspects of homocysteine participation in damage of organs and tissues in various diseases because the effects of this pathogenetic factor will be most pronounced in such conditions. This article describes a technique for modeling in male Wistar rats a severe form of hyperhomocysteinemia by a three-week intragastric administration of methionine suspension with the addition of this amino acid in the drinking water.

Heart beat regulation during load test

Abstract

Ingenious methods of cardiac rhythmgram analysis (CRG) during a load testing are used to study the heart beat (HB) and its regulation. As a result of the CRG cluster analysis of a mixed youth population: 272 persons of 17±2 years old 3 clusters are determined differing by the mixed endurance level. It is established that the latter is the basis of the activity of the autonomic (vegetative) nervous system that determines the recovery rate, as well as the HB variability up to its abnormalities. Vegetative regulation improvement within endurance training reduces the possibility of HB abnormalities by changing the value of their onset from the vegetative dystonia marker to the physical exertion and overtraining predictor. We have determined the possibility for the further study of the heart beat and its regulation with the purpose of early detection of the exercise learning by an organism and preventive measures against overload and overtraining effects.

The ifluens of new oxypyridine derivative on the development of toxic hepatitis

Abstract

In conditions of experimental toxic lesion of the liver, hepatoprotective effect of the original chemical compound 2,6-dimethyl-3-oxypyridine adamantane carboxylate has been investigated. It has been shown that this compound effectively reduces the activity of liver enzymes (aspartic and alanine transaminases, lactate dehydrogenase), the content of total bilirubin and activity of free radical oxidation initiated by CCl 4 intoxication. The protective action of the substance on the liver function has been confirmed morphologically.

Patient evaluation of general practitioners as a tool to improve the quality of primary health care

Abstract

In the experiment, on a model of acute carrageenin-induced inflammation of rat’s paw, changes in size of the affected limbs (paw edema), parameters of leukogram and activity of free radical oxidation were registered. The anti-inflammatory effect of antihypoxants (amtizol, hesperidin, hypoxen, metaprot) was investigated. It has been shown that hypoxen and metaprot 50 mg/kg have weak anti-inflammatory activity, but potentiate the effect of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. At simultaneous enteral administration of hypoxen and metaprot with acetylsalicylic acid or diclofenac, evident anti-inflammatory effect was marked, that was manifested by significant reduction in registered inflammation symptoms.

Hydrochemical status of surface waters the city of Ryazan

Abstract

Defined hydrochemical parameters of water quality urban water bodies of the city of Ryazan, the estimation of priority pollutants in river water. They are the ammonium nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen and organic matter. Best hydrochemical parameters among the studied objects have Borkowska career, the worst - the river Trubezh. It is important that the content of petroleum products, chlorine and heavy metals (zinc, copper and lead) in all objects below the exposure limits. The total hardness of water is generally below the exposure limits. The primary measure to improve water quality can be considered as the clearing and shores. This will increase the volume of water in the river, will accelerate its purification from impurities, respectively, and will improve water quality.

Changes in the hemostasis in patients with acute intestinal obstruction

Abstract

Acute intestinal obstruction is accompanied by changes in the hemostatic system. These changes are the deeper, the higher the degree of enteral insufficiency syndrome, concomitant obstruction. Orientation of the hemostasis shifts also depends on the severity of the syndrome. At the same time, the attempt to confirm statistically the correlation between hemostasis shifts and the severity of the enteral insufficiency syndrome failed. Consequently, the link between hemostasis shifts and processes in the intestine in patients with acute intestinal obstruction is indirect.
