The article describes the experience of organizing the work of the head of the nursing service on accounting and storage of precursors of narcotic and psychotropic substances. The analysis of the regulatory framework relating to precursors of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in dental practice allowed us to develop draft documents: «Regulations for the organization of the work of the head of the nursing service for the registration and storage of precursors of narcotic and psychotropic substances» and «Algorithm of operation logging», in which the number of precursors changes narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

The article discusses the motivation of students as a guarantee of quality medical education. To improve the quality of education, it is necessary to improve the methods and forms of teaching and management of educational and cognitive activities, an integrated approach is needed, including the impact on three components: motivational, cognitive and managerial. It is extremely important to influence the motivational component of educational activity, while special attention should be paid not only to external, but also internal motives of educational activity. The ability to influence the system of personal motives and, consequently, the quality of education is an important component of pedagogical skill.

Training of medical personnel is a mandatory element of medical institution functioning, and the responsibility for training of medical workers lies entirely on the management of the medical institution. In this article, the author examines 3 types of training approaches.

Let’s look into the history of clinical trials, in what years and how the drug trials were conducted, on what animals. We will learn how science evolved to prove the detrimental effects of drugs widely used in a certain period of time, as well as the discovery of insulin therapy as a factor that reduces the risk of death.

Clinical scientific research with human participants is necessary, it is conducted to assess the efficacy and safety of a new medicinal product or to expand the indications for the use of an already known medicinal product.

The procedure of registration of a new medicinal product is carried out by the state in order to determine the quality of the new medicine, its benefits and possible risks of use. Let us consider in detail the scheme of registration of medicinal products.

All clinical trials of medicinal products for medical use are conducted in one or several medical organizations in accordance with the rules of good clinical practice, in accordance with the fundamental ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and other normative documents regulating the protection of rights, safety and health of the tested (volunteer) patient over the interests of science and society. There are 4 phases of clinical trials, which will be discussed in detail in the article.

Special attention is paid to the area of personnel management and direct interaction with subordinates.

The article explores an integrated approach to managing infectious risks in dentistry, starting with the issue of multidrug resistance and ending with modern methods of sterilization and disinfection. Special attention is paid to changes in infection control practices in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The advantages of using laminar flow cabinets as an effective means of ensuring sterile conditions are discussed.
