It was shown that on active detection, the proportion of caseous pneumonia, fibrocavernous tuberculosis, and disseminated tuberculosis was 28, 6, and 1.4 times lower, respectively; that of disseminated (one lobe or more) processes, destruction, and bacterial excretion was 1.8-fold lower, the latter being half its intensity. It was concluded that it is necessary to regularly perform VFGE in the entire population.
