PATHOGENETIC ASPECTS OF THE ISСHEMIA-REPERFUSION SYNDROMEIN PROGRESS OF SYSTEMIC INFLAMMATION AND ENDOTOXICOSISIN INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION
Abstract
On the basis of modern views on the mechanism of the isсhemia-reperfusion syndrome, occurring in patients of different ages, which is a complication of intestinal obstruction, we consider the need to study the results of laboratory tests
in systemic inflammatory response before and after elimination of the intestinal obstruction. Prevention of developments of the isсhemia-reperfusion syndrome, early diagnostics and further prognosis of postoperative complications has shown
that surgical tactics is justifiable in early postoperative period.

THE EFFECT OF THE TIME AND REGULARITY OF ADMINISTRATION OF IMATINIBMESYLATE (GLIVEK) ON SURVIVAL RATE
Abstract
The data on all the patients revealed in the city of Volgograd and Volgograd region from 1998 till 2009, suffering from
the chronic myeloid leukemia, were processed and analyzed.
126 patients from the register were not treated with imatinib, and 103 patients started receiving imatinib at different
times from the moment of diagnosis.
We revealed a dependence of the length of imatinib therapy on the survival rate. Early onset of treatment (up to 4
months from the moment of diagnosis) has a reliable influence on uneventful survival and determines a tendency for overall
survival improvement

INTRACELLULAR INFECTION: ROLE IN ISCHAEMIC HEART DISEASEDEVELOPMENT AND EXACERBATION
Abstract
Inflammation due to infection could be associated with the development of ischaemic heart disease (IHD) and acute
coronary syndrome (ACS). The aim was to determine whether respiratory and genitourinary mycoplasmal infection is connected with the development of ACS. Using a case-control study design, we evaluated the prevalence of respiratory and genitourinary infection among 116 patients with ACS, 82 pts with chronic IHD and 50 controls without IHD. Moreover we examined the presence of several type of Mycoplasma and the level of specific antibodies in ACS patients compared with
chronic IHD patients and controls. We revealed increased frequency of previous respiratory infection in ACS patients. Acute
infection or activation of chronic infection was 2 times more common in ACS. The presence of M.pneumoniae and elevated
level of specific antibodies were found out in 25 and 72 % cases accordingly among ACS patients. These data suggest that
mycoplasmal infection may be involved in pathogenesis of ACS.

CLINICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF MANDIBULAR MICROGNATISMIN CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS
Abstract
The results of the observation of 57 children (2-16 years) show that mandibular deficiency strongly influences the reduced growth of the stomatognatic complex and causes deformation of facial skeleton. A change in the dento-alveolar
complex characterizes the change in the position of the individual tooth, form of the maxillary and mandibular arches, malocclusion in saggital, transverse and horizontal planes. Such structural deformities are strong psycho-traumatic factors
that promote in patients with mandibular micrognatism a condition comparable to chronic stress.

VALUE OF CYTOGENETIC PARAMETERS IN PATIENTSWITH ACUTE ODONTOGENOUS FACIAL INFLAMMATION COMPLICATEDBY PROLONGED TREATMENT
Abstract
78 patients with acute inflammatory diseases of the face have been examined by the method of cytogenesis. It has been revealed that this contingent of patients has a higher level of chromosome aberrations. It has been defined that the duration and character of the course of suppurative and inflammatory process depends on the extent of destruction of the genome of patients with abscesses and phlegmons of the maxillofacial region.

THE PHENE ANALYSIS OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE DYSPLASIA SYNDROMEIN CHILDREN AND THEIR RELATIVES
Abstract
60 families were examined: probands and relatives of I, II and III relation degrees. The family selection was carried out according to the proband (children at the age of 3-6) with the echocardiographic signs of mitral valve prolapse and/or
anomalously located chorda. The results of examination of 360 people (61 -proband, 123 -relatives of the I relation
degree, 172 -relatives of the II relation degree, 4 -relatives of the III relation degree) showed that the hereditary nature of connective tissue dysplasia with prevalence of so-called «maternal effect» was established in most cases. The high
occurence of external mesenchymal signs in children can be explained by the genetic material storage across the generations.

THE STATE OF METABOLIC STATUS OF LYMPHOCYTES IN THE BLOOD OF PATIENTS WITH ACUTE ALYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA
Abstract
We examined the activity of metabolic enzymes of lymphocytes in 100 pts with acute alymphoblastic leukemia (variant
M4). Pts with acute alymphoblastic leukemia in all stages of the disease had changes of the activity of metabolic enzymes
of lymphocytes. The most important changes of the activity of metabolic enzymes of lymphocytes in pts with acute
alymphoblastic leukemia were revealed during recurrence. The revealed immunological and metabolic disturbances
depending on the stage of acute alymphoblastic leukemia characterize immunopathogenetic aspects in the development
and progress of acute alymphoblastic leukemia.

DETERMINATION OF FUNCTIONAL CHANGES OF LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM IN ACUTELOW BACK PAIN
Abstract
Diagnosis and treatment of acute pain syndromes is one of the most important problems of modern vertebroneurology.
Pain is usually of nonspecific functional characteristics and results mainly from static-dynamic changes in the locomotor
apparatus. The paper presents diagnostic approaches to identification of significant static-dynamic changes in the locomotor
apparatus which participate in formation of acute pain syndromes in low back distribution

CLINICAL AND PATHOGENETIC IMPORTANCE OF LIPID METABOLISMDISTURBANCE IN OSTEOARTHRITIC PATIENTS
Abstract
There are some data that osteoarthritis (ОА) may be part of systemic lipid metabolism disorder. Some authors
suppose that fatty tissue may be the origin of biologically active substances such as adiponectin, leptin that may influence
chondrogenesis. Adipokins can have an influence on lipid oxidation and cause oxidized low density lipoprotein (OxLDL) and autoantibodies to OxLDL formation. We examined 175 people: 130 OA patients and 45 healthy donors. The adiponectin, OxLDL and autoantibodies to OxLDL level were determined with ELISA- test. The high level of OxLDL, autoantibodies to OxLDL and low level of adiponectin were revealed in sera of ОА patients. Thus adiponectin, OxLDL and autoantibodies to OxLDL may have important significance in pathogenesis of ОА.

CLINICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC VALUE OF EVALUATION OF ANTIBODIESTO THYROID HORMONES IN PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS
Abstract
A technique of immunoenzyme evaluation of antibodies (AB) to thyroid hormones (conjugated T4 and conjugated T3)
on the base of immobilized magnetic sorbents, which may be used in clinical laboratories, was elaborated for the first time.
AB to conjugated T4 and conjugated T3 was revealed in sera of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, their concentration
correlated with the pathologic process activity. Level of AB to T4 and T3 differed significantly as compared with healthy
persons. Evaluation of AB to thyroid hormones may be used as a complementary test in complex diagnosis in order to characterize the activity of pathologic process and clinical forms of RA.

THE INFLUENCE OF GRAVITATIONAL THERAPY ON REGIONAL BLOODCIRCULATION IN PATIENTS WITH OSTEOMYELITIS OF THE LOWER EXTREMITIES
Abstract
The article provides a comparative analysis study of regional blood circulation in 260 patients with osteomyelitis of the lower extremities. In the complex treatment of 130 of them applied gravitational therapy (study group), 130 patients
were treated by standard methods (control group). The study was conducted in clinics of the Samara S tate Medical
University. Gravitational therapy is a new noninvasive method of physiotherapy, first used in the treatment of patients with
osteomyelitis. Studies of regional blood flow convincingly prove that the gravitational therapy provides a pathogenetic
therapeutic effect, reducing circulatory ischemia and hypoxia of the tissues, contributing to the normalization of tissue
metabolism.

THE PECULIARITIES OF POSTNATAL ADAPTATION AND FEEDINOF INFANTS BORN BY CESAREAN SECTION
Abstract
The analysis of the percularities of postnatal adaptation and feeding of 1337 infants born by Caesarean section was performed before and during labor with combined endotracheal anesthesia and regional anesthesia tech niques during
full-term pregnancy. It was detected that the period of early neonatal adaptation in these infants is not favourable in comparison
with infants born by normal physiological delivery i.e. the syndrome of CNS depression, respiratory disturbances are more
frequently revealed, and a later restoration of the initial weight loss is detected. The decrease of lactation progressing rates
was detected. There was a high percentage of hypogalactia in mothers of the present group. Thus there was a great risk of artificial feeding in such infants.

THE VOXEL-BASED MORPHOMETRY AND DIFFUSION-TENSOR IMAGINMETHODS IN DIAGNOSTICS OF DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS
Abstract
32 depressive patients were investigated using several neuroimaging methods. Functional and structural abnormalities
were established in limbic structures in all groups of patients. Almost all of these structures are parts of so-called frontal
sub-cortical circuits. The structural neural imaging results (voxel-based morphometry, diffusion-tensor imaging) revealed
tracts deficiency in fornix, callous corpus and cingilate convolutions. Observed similar changes (for patients with different
depression types) can be a neural biological substrate of depression syndrome of different genesis, and identified differences
may indicate that depression can be caused by various pathological processes.

FEATURES OF ULTRASOUND CHARACTERISTICS OF PATHOLOGYOF BILE-EXCRETING TRACTS ACCORDING TO THE DURATIONOF OPISTHORCHOSIS INVASION
Abstract
The investigation of features of ultrasound characteristics (echo structure, functional ultrasound study) of bile-excreting
tracts in chronic opisthorchosis according to the duration of invasion has been carried out. 150 patients with chronic
opisthorchosis, monogenic to the extent of evidence of the process activity have been examined. The control group includes
30 practically healthy people. Three sub-groups have been chosen on the basis of the criterion of the duration of invasion: up to 5 years, from 5 to 10 years, from 10 to 15 years. There has been revealed a dependence between the duration of the opisthorchosis invasion on the one hand and the degree of manifestation of the echo structural changes as well as the type
of motor-tonic disturbances of the bile-excreting tracts on the other hand

SOME SPECIFIC FEATURES OF TUMOR BLOOD FLOW IN COMBINATIONOF BENIGN UTERINE AND OVARIAN NEOPLASMS
Abstract
On the grounds of the obtained results we think it reasonable that Doppler sonography in complex with other methods
can be used to advantage for differential diagnostics of benign uterine and ovarian neoplasms. Reliability of Doppler
sonography diagnostics mostly depends on the possibilities of the ultrasonic equipment and its optimum adjustment, as well as on the methods of Doppler investigation. Complex use of ultrasonic (transvaginal sonography) and Doppler
sonography methods allowed us to raise the accuracy of the diagnostics of the pathological process of genitals to 99.9 %.

HEMODYNAMIC DISTURBANCE IN VESSELS OF FETOPLACENTAL COMPLEX IN WOMEN WITH RHESUS-NEGATIVE BLOOD AND IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA
Abstract
It is revealed that women with Rhesus-negative blood and iron deficiency anemia have got an increased peripheral
vascular resistance in uterine arteries and umbilical artery; that is, there are disorders in uterine-placental blood flow and in feto-placentary blood flow. It's in pregnancy with Rhesus-negative blood without anemia where initial changes of fetoplacental
blood flow prevail. The most expressed disorder of feto-placental blood circulation indicating decompensated
placental insufficiency are noted in women with Rhesus-negative blood and severe anemia. It is shown that the proposed
complex system of preventive therapy is effective for this category of women.
