Baculin V.S., Makarov V.I.

Abstract

The effect of a single intake of piracetam (0,4 g), phenibut (0,25 g) and obsidan (0,08 g) on the thermal state, gas-energy exchange, cardiovascular system, physical working capacity and subjective status of 22 sportspersons performing submaximal physical loads in the ambient conditions of heightened temperature (31 ± 1) °C, high humidity (80 ± 1) % and low air movement (0,3 ± 0,1) m/s. It was established that these drugs increased thermoresistance, maintained a high level of physical working capacity and reduced the negative influence of hyperthermia on human subjective status. Obsidan produced a normalizing effect on the cardiovascular system during the development of hyperthermia.

HEALTH STATUS FEATURES OF CHILDREN LIVING IN RURAL AREAS IN TERMS OF INDOOR AIR POLLUTION

Polunina N.V., Al Sabunchi A.A.

Abstract

Sergienko V.I., Petrosyan E.A., Botashev A.A., Tereshenko O.A., Pomeshik U.V.

Abstract

Experimental studies on animals with 24-hour choleperitonitis have established a doubling of leucocytes concentration and a decrease in cytochemical profile. At the same time animals had hypercytokinemia. Growth of desquamated endotheliocytes, endothelin-1 and the von Willebrand factor, NO in plasma and in the suspension of cultured leucocytes was revealed. The detected deviations of the studied markers of systemic inflammatory reaction and endothelial dysfunction can be considered as a new direction in improving the diagnosis of choleperitonitis.

Abstract

Thе present study shows that resistin may have an important significance in pathogenesis of ОА. Osteoarthritic patients with high serum resistin level have a more aggressive form of the disease. In this study serum resistin was clearly elevated and strongly correlated with systemic inflammation and functional impairment in OA. Thus, serum resistin could be used as a marker of OA progression.

ANTIALLERGIC THERAPY OF CHRONIC IDIOPATHIC URTICARIA IN ADULTS

Razvalyaeva A.V., Malyuzhinskaya N.V.

Abstract

The administration of cyclosporine in patients with severe chronic idiopathic urticaria provides a more rapid achievement of clinical effect than the therapy with H1/H2 histamine antagonists. This is confirmed by a significant decrease of the total index of severity of illness and major symptoms of skin lesions. Thus, administration of cyclosporine can be considered as therapy of choice in patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria with a severe course and ineffective long-term therapy with antihistamines / systemic corticosteroids.
