National-State Identity in the Context of Global Confrontation: The Problem of the Stability of Social Systems

Shabrov O.F.

Abstract

The problem of national-state identity is considered as one of the pillars, along with the state, ensuring the stability of modern social systems. It is shown that the national-state identity is formed, first of all, on the basis of the commonality of spiritual values shared by the majority of members of society. These values belong, in turn, to the spheres of culture and ideology. The role of these areas is not the same. The function of culture is the accumulation and reproduction of values through the transfer from generation to generation of values as ideas of what is due and taboo, which gave advantages to the social system and its members in survival and development. Ideological values are attractive goals, a project of a social and state structure that reflects the interests of social groups. The stability of social systems and nation-states is possible provided that ideological values do not conflict with the values of culture. In modern conditions, the process of reproduction of cultural values is hampered by a number of global reasons, and these values themselves have become the object of destructive ideological influence on the part of both rival states and global elites. The role of state cultural policy and state ideologies has come to the fore in the issue of ensuring the sustainability of nation states and the corresponding social systems. In conclusion, the conditions for the effectiveness of this policy are formulated in the most general form.

Dimension of Political Science in Russian Identity of the Past and Present

Asonov N.V.

Abstract

Based on the specificity of political science, which requires placing power as the central category of politics and the political system when analyzing various social phenomena and processes, the author of the article presents their vision of Russian identity in the past and present. The aim of the study is to determine the main stages of the formation of Russian identity and reveal its specific features, reflecting the specificity of state power and the political system of the country as a unique civilization model of human development. Research Methods: The nature of this work is based on the use of systemic, functional, value-oriented, historical, and some other methods of political analysis, representing a harmonious combination of their general scientific and specific fundamental directions. Research Findings. In the course of the analysis conducted, the author arrived at several conclusions. According to them, at the state level, Russian identity had a completely sovereign character in two cases. The first instance was related to Moscow’s refusal to submit to the resolutions of the Florence Union Council, which preserved Russia as the only Orthodox state until Peter the Great. The second time our country became a civilization-state was in October 1917. The collapse of the Soviet Union positioned Russia as a peripheral element within the framework of the North Atlantic civilization and contributed to the establishment of a regime of “neo-Bonapartism” on its territory.

Transformation of Russian Identity: Value Dimension

Sashchenko N.P.

Abstract

The problem of theoretical conceptualization of the value dimension of the subject’s picture of the world in the context of identification processes in Russian society is posed. The picture of the world has a spatial and temporal organization that affects the speed and direction of the identification processes of an individual with a group, society as a whole. At the same time, the picture of the world is filled with subjective meanings and is supplemented by another dimension – the meanings and meaning of reflected events and phenomena. Therefore, the analysis of the facets of the picture of the world from the standpoint of the value dimension includes the approaches of post-non-classical science using the criteria of analysis in the political-psychological and sociological traditions. Three approaches are formulated, the possibilities of practical application of which are illustrated by the results of empirical studies of the Institute of Sociology and the Institute of Socio-Political Research of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The proposed view on the value dimension of the picture of the world made it possible to reveal the dependence of identification processes not only on obvious social and political transformations. Self-identification of an individual and groups is also latently influenced by the variability of the value picture of the world: social ideas and values, social norms and attitudes, political needs, interests and orientations, that is, the delta of novelty, which is reflected in new meanings and reflected in new meanings. The relationship between objective situational factors reflected in the value picture of the world and latent markers of the transformation of the identification of an individual, groups and society as a whole has been revealed. The value-semantic dimension of the picture of the world of Russian society made it possible to see the mobility and duality of value transformations, which requires further study of the networks of meanings, analysis of their symbolic structures as the basis of the cultural matrix of Russian society.

Intercultural Dialogue in the Digital Space as a Factor of Socio-political Stability

Gadzhiev K.A.

Abstract

. Intercultural dialogue is the key subject of State national policy in any country. Despite the effects introduced by globalization, blurring unique features and universalizing the value basis of modern life, communities formed on an ethnic, confessional or linguistic basis (cultural communities), for the most part still retain their own identity, strive to maintain their value-behavioral patterns, customs, traditions and foundations. Therefore, the development of principles and management mechanisms capable of ensuring the coexistence of different cultural communities remains relevant for political-administrative systems. This is an essential condition for socio-political stability. The article is aimed at exploring the potential of the digital space for the formation of intercultural dialogue in the digital space contributing to the provision and maintenance of socio-political stability. The paper illustrates promising tools and properties of the digital space for communication and interaction of cultural communities; reflects the prerequisites, outlines the basic contours of intercultural dialogue in the digital space and the possible consequences of its impact on socio-political stability. According to the main conclusion of the analysis, the digital space creates completely new opportunities for building an intercultural dialogue, which political-administrative systems cannot ignore, striving for socio-political stability.

Socio-cultural Aspects of the Transformation of National Identity in the Post-Soviet Period: Socio-political Analysis

Likhanova T.Y.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to consider the foundations of national identity, such as historical and cultural memory, which also include the traditional values of society and the attitudes of both society and the state towards them. Consider which values are key-values for Russian society, how actively they are reproduced at the level of cultural translators. Results: the data obtained showed that there is no real consensus in Russian society about a single system of values shared by both society and the state. The policy pursued by the state often contradicts the values declared by the state. It is necessary to take real effective measures in order to bring, first of all, the economic and cultural policy of the state into line with the traditional spiritual and moral values of Russian society. There is an acute contradiction in society between those values that are perceived by society as fundamental, and those values that are transmitted to society, including by the leaders of public opinion who enjoy the greatest confidence. Society is clearly aware of the inconsistency of the current situation with its real needs, as well as the urgent need to implement these values. In particular, this applies to social justice. The lack of consensus makes the field of values open to outside influences, capable of being filled with values from any sources, including foreign elements that consciously or unconsciously destroy the national self-consciousness.

Russia 2020: Industry 4.0 and Sustainable Development Issues

Kuriukin A.N.

Abstract

In the article, the author considers the question of the relationship between the integration of innovations, united by the concept of Industry 4.0, and the concept of sustainable development, which in modern conditions of civilizational turbulence continues to be in the foreground. Taking as a basis the basic components of the sustainable development paradigm – the economy, society and ecology, the author examines the impact on them of basic innovations generated on technologies that make up the essence of Industry 4.0 – big data, artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, Internet services, cyber-physical systems. The results of the analysis show that there are ultimately two basic scenarios that can be formed on the basis of scientific discourse: an optimistic one, whose supporters tend to see only positive features of accelerating the development of the economy and society of modern civilization, thanks to the introduction of innovations, and a pessimistic one, whose supporters point to the likelihood of social and environmental shocks that can be expressed in a significant, and possibly almost complete restructuring of modern social reality, leading to the disappearance of entire professions, the transition of huge masses of the population at the world level to the poverty line, a radical transformation of social interaction practices and the “fabric” of social reality at all. The author advocates the so-called balanced approach, which is applied in this work.

Features of the Influence of Social Media on the Political Identification of Youth

Sin A.L., Bakhlov I.V.

Abstract

The relevance of the research topic lies in the development of technical instruments that change the conditions of social existence in general and political interaction in particular. The use of such instruments has an impact on all forms of collective existence, which means that it requires different forms of identification from a person, including young people. The aim of the article is to determine the features of the influence of social media on the collective identification of young people in the political environment. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve a number of tasks: 1) to formulate an understanding of the essence of social media; 2) to determine the content of the concepts of “identity” and “identification”, to link them with the phenomenon of imaginary communities; 3) to identify some features of the influence of social media on the process of achieving political identity among young people. A logical method is used in this article. It allows to form a holistic view of the content of the concepts of “social media” and “identification”. A critical method is also used, which is expressed in identifying the influence of social media on the political identification of young people. The results obtained and the main conclusions of the study are that the interactive nature of social media, an unlimited range of content broadcast in them, the formation of digital identity of young people, as well as the simplified possibility of organizing civil society through the formation of imaginary Internet communities – all these aspects affect political identification of youth and have a positive impact on the course of political processes in the state.

Geopolitical Status of the States of the Korean Peninsula (Republic of Korea and DPRK)

Samkaev I.M.

Abstract

In the context of the sanctions policy of the West, Russia’s turn towards the Asia-Pacific region seems quite promising. In this regard, it was interesting for the author to look at the geopolitical status of the Republic of Korea and the DPRK in the current situation. The geographical characteristics of both states were analyzed from the standpoint of the possibilities of political and economic influence of these countries on world politics, as well as on relations with Russia. Socio-economic parameters were presented both in terms of demographics and in terms of urbanization, development of the transport system and industry. Foreign economic and military-technical policy was considered in the context of interaction between the ROK and the DPRK with Russia. However, a number of problems were identified that today exist on the path of unhindered economic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

A Critical Analysis of Klaus Schwab’s Concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

Kushnir A.M., Kushnir A.A.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to critically analyze the concept of the fourth industrial revolution by K. Schwab and its role in the development of modern societies. It has been established that this concept has a pronounced conservative ideological character and is aimed at preserving and legitimizing the current status quo of privileged social groups, as well as the status quo based on a new system of dispositions. It performs projective-mobilizing, political, evaluative and practical functions aimed at forming a “common understanding” and building an “inclusive and just” society. The sociological content of the theory of industrial revolutions is revealed as an attempt to revise the established theoretical constructs that have lost their empirical adequacy in the changed conditions. It is shown that the concept of the fourth industrial revolution is based on evaluative descriptions, has no clear criteria and indicators for its diagnosis. It is argued that in K. Schwab’s interpretation the fourth industrial revolution is indistinguishable from the third one. It is hypothesized that the concept of the fourth industrial revolution is not new in content and is a product of “intellectual marketing”. Using the methodology of A. Goudner, the critical analysis is carried out and the non-articulated components that make up the infrastructure of the concept of the fourth industrial revolution are revealed by considering the “role” and “personal” reality of K. Schwab.

The Role of State Policy in Internal Economic Migration: A Comparative Study of the Xinjiang Uigur and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regions

Jianguang W.

Abstract

Internal migration is a significant lever of influence on economic, political and social processes in many countries of the world. The purpose of the article is to study the role of state policy in the field of internal economic migration, as well as to compare its specific features on the example of a number of autonomous regions of the PRC. Chinese government policies have had a significant impact on internal economic migration patterns in Xinjiang AR and Ningxia AR. In both regions, the government encouraged migration from rural to urban areas. This led to the growth of urban areas in both regions and helped reduce poverty. The author concludes that migration in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is predominantly government-organized, in contrast to the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Chinese government policies have had mixed effects on internal economic migration in Xinjiang AR and Ningxia AR, they have helped reduce poverty and expand urban areas, but they have also led to some negative effects such as inter-ethnic tension and conflict.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the evolution of approaches to understanding social entrepreneurship in the context of sustainable development. Within the framework of this scientific article, the main approaches to the interpretation of social entrepreneurship, its essence and specificity were considered. It is revealed that in the absence of a unified approach to the interpretation of this phenomenon, regardless of the different connotations, the essence of social entrepreneurship is as follows: it is aimed at achieving social change or solving social problems. In addition, the author has studied the history of the development of the Institute of social entrepreneurship, with special attention paid to scientists who have made a significant contribution to its development and dissemination. One of the research tasks set in the framework of this scientific article was to consider the relationship between social entrepreneurship and sustainable development in the context of foreign research. The author concludes that one of the indicators of the stability of the region is its anti-crisis potential, which consists in its ability to respond quickly to changes in the external environment, with social entrepreneurship being one of the factors of its development. Conclusions. Within the framework of this study, it was revealed that social entrepreneurship is one of the factors that ensure the implementation of the concept of sustainable development of regions in the Russian Federation. In addition, the concept of social entrepreneurship has gradually been integrated into the system of sustainable development and at the present stage is one of the factors contributing to the strengthening of this system.

Kuleshov S.M., Tsaryuk D.A.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to study the influence of gamification on the innovative motivation of employees. The main trends related to labor motivation in the market were studied. In the course of the analysis, promising tools of labor motivation were identified, among which gamification occupies a special place. Gamification acts as a management tool, which consists in integrating game mechanics into the workflow. The structural elements of gamification, its types, properties and stages of application were considered. In addition, the features of the application of gamification in the global context were studied, as well as the features of Russian practice were determined. To determine the impact of gamification on the innovative motivation of employees, an empirical study was conducted aimed at interviewing the heads of organizations and their employees. Conclusions. Gamification acts as a promising direction of labor motivation and is highly appreciated by both managers and employees. At the same time, a number of problems are highlighted that make it difficult to implement the principles of gamification, especially for small enterprises. The expansion of the use of gamification in the management environment has a positive impact on the prospects of this tool, since at the moment it is used in a limited number of areas.

Can Digital/Artificial Intelligence Become a New Oracle for Humanity? (in the Context of the Theory of 3 Stages of Human Evolution by A. Comte and the Concept of the Formation of the 4th Stage – “Digital Philosophy”)

Smetana V.V.

Abstract

Belief in the powerful, the supernatural, and the inexplicable has no beginning or end. The central role in human fears has always been played by oracles – sacred people (priests). At the same time, both people and places that were considered sacred could be an oracle. It was assumed that seers could both explain the supernatural and predict the future. K. Popper introduced the term – the philosophy of oracles to denote a style of philosophizing similar to the manner of predicting the future, used by oracles when performing religious cults or by mediums in magic sessions. The main method of divination oracles is to intimidate or enchant their listeners. In the context of A. Comte’s theory of human evolution, we will be able to see the following patterns of interaction with the supernatural: at the theological stage, for example, in Ancient Greece, there are many Gods; at the metaphysical stage – the reasoning of philosophers, for example, Plato about God as the Creator and Creator of the universe, and Aristotle spoke of God as a philosophical God, and at the early scientific stage – these are the discoveries made by Copernicus and Galileo, which completely turned the worldview of mankind. So at the present time, in the conditions of the formation of the 4th stage of human evolution, digital intelligence begins to prevail over the human mind, and artificial intelligence takes on the role of a world oracle capable of predicting the future in an incredible way.

“Terrorism”: Reality and Conceptual Framework

Lomako L.L.

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to embed the modern representation of terrorism into the conceptual framework defined in the horizon of the fundamentals of the dominant liberal version of the economic paradigm of the political (“managerial paradigm”). The political is presented as a balance of interests, fixed at the moment as the result of endless public discussion; politics in this case is management, whose task is to harmonize interests and ensure conditions for peaceful existence – based on a liberal consensus on basic rights. The reality of the political arises in the process of aesthetic/historical representation, for which perspectivism is constitutive; such reality is fragmented and centered relative to an empty place (the exclusion of the sovereign and the sovereign decision), has the properties of hyperreality, the phenomena of which are simulacra of the third level. The absence of the possibility of drawing a border (the exclusive prerogative of a sovereign decision) leads to the non-distinction of “internal” and “external”, the area of “order” and “anomie”. In this situation, war becomes a permanent mechanism for the biopolitical production of life; an unrecognized enemy is a party to the war; the war is presented as fair, the goal is declared to restore the disturbed order. An unrecognized enemy is called a terrorist; the conceptual horizon for defining the concept of “terrorism” is the anti-terrorist war in the nearest way. Thus, the philosophical approach differs from the disciplinary scientific one; the philosophical concept of terrorism has other grounds than its ideal-typical concepts, which are operated by the disciplinarily organized sciences; the evidence of paradigmatic principles makes philosophical conceptualization difficult.

Philosophical and Anthropological Aspects of Narcissism

Dolgitsky O.D.

Abstract

The article deals with the philosophical and anthropological aspects of narcissism as a specific characteristic of personality. The author analyzes the concept of “narcissism”, its causes, explains the narcissistic character from the point of view of psychoanalytic, philosophical-anthropological and cultural-historical psychological concepts. The purpose of the study is to define the concept of the phenomenon of narcissism and the principles of its formation. Results. As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that the narcissistic personality type is the result of lack of personal development motivational-needs. As the basis for this conclusion, in the course of the research, specific properties of a narcissistic character are singled out, which are characteristic of describing the crisis of the age period of 3–7 years. The author concludes that in case of violation of intra-family relations, the process of self-identification is violated, as a result of which the structure of the Self freezes in development. The formation of this process determines how the child identifies himself with his parents and what role he takes in these relationships. At the same time, the author takes into account gender characteristics that determine the role of the child in the family and the attitude of the father and mother towards him. The author concludes that in order to overcome the narcissistic structure of the personality, personal reflection and introspective awareness of the act of one’s own consciousness is necessary, leading to the formation of a new structure of the psyche.

To the Question of the Problem of Defining the Concept of “Planetarism” as a New Religious Movement Within the Framework of the Internal Ideological Policy of the State

Nikolaev N.P.

Abstract

The purpose of the research. The article deals with the problems of defining the concept of «planetarism» as a new religious phenomenon within the framework of the internal ideological policy of the state, influencing the internal political processes of state administration and the nature of international interaction in the foreign policy arena. The change in the content of the concept of “planetarism” in its historical retrospective is analyzed, demonstrating the process of gradual separation of the concept of “planetarism” from the concept of “globalization” into an independent definition. The aim of the study is to formulate our own definition of the concept of “planetarism” as a new religious movement in the ideological context of state policy. This is necessary to determine the main directions of public administration in the context of value confrontation in the international arena, as well as for more effective legislative support for the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated November 09, 2022 No. 809 “On Approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values”. The laws of nature, within the framework of the concept of “planetarism”, began to act as a kind of absolute, which became a kind of scale for the ethical assessment of certain social processes and phenomena, which makes it possible to consider “planetarism” as a new form of religious movement. Conclusions. As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that the ongoing socio-political processes reflect changes in the ideological basis of interstate cooperation. The basis of the new ideological orientation, called “planetarism”, is the idea of the planet Earth as a common “home” for all mankind. Within the framework of the “planetarism” concept, the planet acts not just as a common place of residence for all people, but also as an independent superorganism that has its own consciousness and rights along with the rights of the people themselves. The author, emphasizing the dualistic structure of “planetarism”, which includes, on the one hand, cognitive ideas about the unconditional value of the planet and natural laws, and on the other hand, faith in these values and ideas by analogy with religious faith, proposes to consider “planetarism” as a group of non-theistic beliefs, philosophical and ideological ideas that have arisen around the idea of our Planet as a kind of independent superorganism that gave life to all living things, has the ability of reasonable self-regulation in order to maintain life in all its diversity in accordance with the laws established by it.
