Resumo
The purpose of the research. The study goes into the problems of Russian society’s formation of the historical consciousness. The autor analyses various social practices as a tool for constructing historical reality. The purpose of the study is to identify the essential and meaningful features of social construction of history’ practices, as well as the specifics of their manifestation in the conditions of the modern Russian society development. Results. As a result of the study, the author comes to the point that in the context of the informational war unleashed against Russia, certain representatives of the Western elite are implementing special social programs aimed at dismantling, replacing and falsifying the most significant events of the historical past of the Russian people, in order to manipulate its public consciousness.
