Results of measurement of the female pelvis outlet
Abstract
„Es muss unzweifelhaft vom praktischen Standpunkte aus für die Prognose und Behandlung der Gehurt heim engen Becken als sehr wichtig angesehen werden, die Dimensionen des Beckenausganges im gegebenen Falle richtig zu beurtheilen“. Breisky. (Beiträge zur Geburtshilf. Beurtheilung der Verengerung des Becken ausganges. Medicinische Jahrbücher, Bd. XIX, стр. 4).
“One cannot but foresee the benefits that science and practice could derive from methodically measuring the pelvic outlet.” Garfunkel. (Diss., P. 7).
A few notes about obstetric forceps
Abstract
It is known that in order to judge the merits or demerits of one or another medical instrument, it is necessary to accurately formulate the requirements that are imposed on it and then decide how much it satisfies these requirements.
A few words on the issue of fetal rigor mortis.
Abstract
The birth of children in a state of rigor mortis has been observed quite rarely. The last investigators of this issue - Feis and Lange - could collect only 19 cases in the entire literature that relate to this, so I decide to bring to the attention of the respected collection those four cases of birth of children in a state of rigor mortis that met during the past month in the Clinical and Midwifery Institutes.
On the question of surgical treatment of urethro-vaginal fistulas.
Abstract
In view of the significant interest in the development of surgical techniques for urethro-vaginal fistulas, which until now have not succumbed to a lasting cure in the sense of retention of urine by patients, I decided to report two cases of fistulas that I operated on, in which, I think, one can clearly see the mechanism of urinary retention , which is currently a contentious issue.
Purpose, conditions and indications for the operation of the so-called "high forceps"
Abstract
Origo artis obstetriciae — ab experientia, experientiae occasio — a necessitate ... What are “high forceps” (forceps obstetricia superior s. Alta)? According to Max Runge, “the ischial spines are the true guiding thread for determining the height of the head: if it is no longer possible to reach them with a finger, then this means that the head probably already stands with its largest circumference in the pelvis).

F. A. Dobert. — Beiträge zur Anatomie der Uterusschleimhaut bei ektopischer Schwangerschaft. (Arch. F. Gynaekologie, Bd., XLVII, Hft. 2). To the anatomy of the uterine mucosa in ectopic pregnancy
Abstract
In two preparations obtained thanks to the rupture of a pregnant tube with a fatal outcome, it is easy to distinguish three layers on the uterine mucosa: a superficial one, consisting mainly of decidual cells, a middle one, containing enlarged glands, and a deep layer, consisting of little changed connective tissue and containing relatively little changed glands.
Leopold. — Vergleichende Untersuchungen über die Entbehrlichkeil der Scheidenausspülungeu bei ganz normalen Geburten und über die sogenannte Selbstinfektion. (Arch. F. Gyn., Bd. XLVII, Hft. 3). Comparative studies on the uselessness of vaginal douching during normal childbirth and on the so-called self-infection
Abstract
While the question of the uselessness or even harm of vaginal douching in normal childbirth, since it is a private practice, where internal investigation is avoided as much as possible, is almost decided by everyone in the affirmative.
Orthmann. — Beitrag zur frühzeitigen Unterbrechung der Tubenschwangerschaft und zur Kenntniss der weiteren Schicksale des Eies. (Zeitschr. F. Geb. und Gyn., Bd. XXIX). Towards the doctrine of premature termination of tubal pregnancy and the further fate of the ovum
Abstract
The author formulates the result of his interesting observations and research as follows. A tubal pregnancy is interrupted most often in the first two months, and the reason for this was equally often both a rupture of the tube and a miscarriage.
Koblanck. — Zur Prognose der Schwangerschafts nephritis. (Zeitschr. F. Geb. Und. Gyn., Bd. XXIX). To the forecast of nephritis gravidarum
Abstract
Based on the rich material of the Berlin University Hospital, the author tries to solve the following questions: how often nephritis gravidarum turns into nephritis chronica, what conditions are favorable for this, and when it is possible to make an unerring forecast in this regard.
Th. Kézmárszky. — Intravenöse Sublimatinjektionen (Baccelli) bei venöser Sepsis im Wochenbett. (Cntrlbl. F. Gynäk., 1894, no. 38). Intravenous injection of mercuric chloride in venous putrefactive poisoning in the postpartum period
Abstract
In the treatment of postpartum diseases, depending on the spread of putrefactive venous thrombi through the circulatory system, the author considers it necessary to use enhanced nutrition, wine, baths, as well as disinfectants acting directly on the blood.

Abstract
Regarding Küstner’s statement that in case of cervical hypertrophy due to prolapse, surgeries that reduce the uterus are unnecessary, R. points out that a similar opinion was expressed by him and was consistently carried out already for 15 years.
D-r Leopold ѵ. Dittel jun. Partus bei Uterus dupelx. (Centr f. Gynaecol., 1894) Childbirth with a double uterus

This case, observed in the Chrobak clinic, presented the following phenomena during childbirth: there were two vaginas, completely separated by a septum; in the right sleeve, the vaginal part with a slightly open external uterine pharynx was determined; on the contrary, in the left sleeve, the external pharynx was open by 2 transverse fingers, the bladder was intact, the buttocks were at the entrance.

In addition to the relative rarity of such observations, one case also presented a peculiar clinical picture: a 54-year-old woman who did not give birth, although she was married, for the last 8 years, until recently, menstruated correctly at three week intervals.
