The examination of smears prints 79 dead fetuses, miscarriages, babies with abnormalities and signs of intrauterine infection in order to determine the frequency of infection with herpes viruses: human herpes virus type 6 (HHV-6), cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and rubella virus clarify features of current ante- and neonatal period, causes of death, the definition of histological markers of intrauterine infection.

We have studied the results of the survey of cellular and humoral immunity in 260 patients lymphoproliferative diseases, complicated by the development of opportunistic infections. The study of the immunological characteristics of the cells allows you to set the source of origin of the pathological clone of the total diversity of morphologically similar forms limphoproliferativee disease.

In the work in vivo test of the gel based on chitosan with additions of miramistin, methyluracil and ascorbic acid were performed. The gel was prepared by solution of 2% chitosan in 0.5% acetic acid during 24h with the subsequent filtration through the glass filter with the average pore size. To obtain the modified gels the above mentioned substances were added to the solution in the proper concentrations. In vivo investigations were conducted using laboratory male rats with the modeled burns of IIB degree, which were randomized in the control and experimental groups. The last 3 days after application of burns, twice a day the wound surface was treated with different modifications of chitosan-based gels. Histological study has shown the decrease of inflammation reaction and edema in biopsy material, acceleration of epithelization on the wound surface and decrease of wound repair terms by 2-3 days. Microbiological investigation revealed the high bacteriostatic action of chitosan gel against the most species of burn surface microflora, which allowed avoiding infectious complications.

The priority factors of the rail car building plant workers' health risk have been detected. The mordibility analysis has been carried out, the risks diseases have been determined. The integral assessment of the functional state of workers' organism has been given. Some hygienic recommendations to provide the safety work conditions and retain the workers’ health have been worked out.

An investigation of atmosphere pollution by products of automobile fuel combustion was carried on in the Astrakhan region in dynamics from 2000 to 2009. As a result statistically factual stature of unhealthy chemical substances was uncovered. Most chemical substances concentration, possessing action summatsiya, exceeded 1,0 (unit) throughout the entire period of observation. The atmosphere pollution index was characterized as high since 2003.

Modernization of the system of obligatory medical insurance within realization of “Obligatory medical insurance in Russian Federation” law presupposes the usage of graded per capital normatives for the calculation of local obligatory medical insurance programs financing. For the purpose, apart from sex-age coefficients of medical care consumption, it is supposed to use additional indicators characterizing the level of health (sickness rate, mortality, primary disablement) and also such indicators as sanitary-epidemiological and ecological wellbeing of the local areas and the level of medical care availability.

In order to study the systemic inflammation in patients with associated pathology a survey included 48 patients with bronchial asthma, 34 of them were diagnosed with metabolic syndrome, had been performed. In patients with bronchial asthma in association with metabolic syndrome systemic inflammation was more expressed in comparison with patients without metabolic syndrome. An inverse relation between the parameters of respiratory function and C-reactive protein level had been revealed, and it’s concentration increased with the degree of abdominal obesity, severity of atherogenic disorders, fasting glucose levels, with the presence of type 2 diabetes.

The paper studies the influence of severity of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia and changes in blood flow through the vessels of the spermatic cord in 36 men with inguinal hernias who underwent open Preperitoneal hernioplasty with “PROLENE” mesh. The average term of life with hernia was 21,5 months. Symptoms of connective tissue dysplasia revealed in 35 (97,2%) patients. The average speed of blood flow decreases from 11,9 cm/s in patients with mild UCTD to 9 cm/s - with a severe and shortage of blood flow increased from 12,5% to 25%. The difference between average speed of blood flow on the affected and healthy side, which before surgery was 2,78 cm/s, decreased to 1,0 cm/s, i.e. almost three times. Deficiency of blood flow before the herniotomy was 19,62%, after surgical treatment - 5,45%. Tension methods of hernioplasty cause a persistent decrease in average speed of blood flow on the affected side, even after several years.

One of the most often of the reasons of incomplete visual acuity is its functional decrease - amblyopia. It is observed amblyopia at ametropia high degrees, at astigmatism, it is especial at anizometropia, more often at a squint, at cataracts, congenital cataracts, optical nistagm, and also at patients with functional frustration of the central nervous system. Optical coherent tomography (OCT) has allowed to see objective changes of the central departments of a retina at amblyopia. However the data on these of change are inconsistent. The review is devoted to role OCT in diagnostics amblyopia.
