详细

Hallux valgus is a common deformity of the forefoot characterized by various clinical symptoms and reduces the quality of life of patients of various age groups. This literature review used the databases eLIBRARY.RU, Google Scholar, and PubMed and is a nonsystematic analysis. Studies describing various aspects of diagnosis, treatment, and development of complications of hallux valgus deformity of the forefoot were analyzed. The present article describes instrumental diagnostics, criteria for assessing the stage of the pathological process, and approaches and methods for surgical correction of deformity.
