Registration and login are required for submitting items online, and for checking the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The article should be accompanied by a letter to the editor-in-chief and signed by the head of the institution where the work was performed. If it is a dissertation in the cover letter, you must specify the indicative date for the defense.

The editorial Board accepts articles of no more than 6-8 pages in electronic form or on paper with the disk enclosure.
The submitted article must contain the following information:
— at the beginning of the article must contain UDC, LBC, GSNTI, title, academic degree, rank, position, surname, name and patronymic of the authors, full name of the institution;
— article experimental nature should include a brief overview of the problem the purpose of the study, experimental part, results and discussion, conclusions, list of references. The repetition of the same data in text, tables and graphs are not allowed. In the dissertation articles must be at least 7 references and their description in the list of references;
— use units of the SI in the Russian designation; in the text, tables and figures, the values should be the same;
— formulas should be written clearly, indicating the Latin and Greek letters, respectively, indicate upper and lower indexes (handles). To differentiate similar in shape of numbers and letters (e.g. the letter «O» and the digit «0») over them, should write «n» (digit) «b» (the letter). Electronic formulas should be typed in the format of the program Math Type;
— drawings should provide the size should be 9×12 cm, clearly made, the inscriptions on them are replaced by digital or letter symbols, which are then to reveal the captions. Positions in the figure are arranged clockwise. In the text of the article must be referenced on the submitted drawings. The pictures are with a resolution of 300 dpi.
tables should be presented on separate pages typed, double-spaced; tables should have titles and ordinal numbers. Table references in the text of the article is obligatory;

graphics should be provided in Word Excel;
the list of references should contain only those sources to which (the corresponding numbers in square brackets, for example [4]) is in the text of the article, and in the same sequence as they are mentioned in the text. References to unpublished works are not allowed. It is not recommended to refer to the literature for more than 10 years ago. When making a list you should use brief bibliographic description in accordance with GOST;
— the article must have abstracts in Russian and English not more than 0,5 of a page, and specify key words in Russian and English. New requirements for abstracts can be downloaded here.

Electronic art should be submitted in Word format, typed in 12 point 1.5 spacing, font Times New Roman Cyr (you may use Symbol font for Greek letters set).
Formulas should be typed in the format of the program Math Type.
Graphs and diagrams should be submitted as separate files in Excel.

To avoid overloading the articles with formulae, duplicating the same results in tables and graphs.

The article and ALL the accompanying information (reports, codes, etc.) must be submitted in one file in Word. If the tables for the article done in Word, they should also be included in this file.

Recommendations for the preparation of abstracts to scientific articles.

In Russia, the functions of the national centre for AGRIS, since 2007, is the Federal state budgetary scientific institution «Central scientific agricultural library».

From 1 July 1997 operates inter-state standard GOST 7.9-95 «Summary and abstract. General requirements», which should be guided in the preparation of the abstract. However, this document contains only General provisions, not taking into account the specifics of research in the field of agriculture. After analyzing certain provisions of the GOST 7.9-95 «Summary and abstract. General requirements», staff cnshb recommendations, how best to apply them when writing abstracts to scientific articles agricultural subjects taking into account the specifics of the international base.

GOST 7.9-95 «Summary and abstract. General requirements» provides definitions of the relevant concepts.

The abstract is a brief accurate statement of the contents of the document, covering basic facts and conclusions, without additional interpretation or critical remarks of the author of the abstract.

Abstract – brief description of the document from the point of view of its purpose, content, form, shape, and other features.

The abstract includes the following aspects of the contents of the original document:

— subject, topic, aim of work;

method or methodology of work;

— results of work;

— the scope of the results;

— insights;

— for more information.

These subsections should only be allocated logically, without subheadings. The level of detail of presentation of certain sections is dictated by the specifics of the text, but in General the preference should be given to the results.

The scope of the results is only required in the patent documents, for articles on agricultural topics is optional.

Method or methodology of work should be described in the case, if they differ novelty or are of interest from the point of view of this work. Widely known methods are only called.

It is desirable to specify the time and place (to the edge region and/or natural areas) studies, the sample volume, short lead circuit experience. The names of smaller administrative units to lead is not necessary. Should provide only the information that is important in the context of the study and may affect its results.

Do not specify secondary information: brand and manufacturer of equipment or reagents, which lab performed the tests, who belonged to the experimental field, etc. the Availability of basic statistical processing of the data is implied and does not need special mention.

Describe your results accurately and informatively. The basic theoretical and experimental results, factual data, discovered relationships and patterns. The preference is given to new results and data of long-term value, important discoveries, conclusions which refute existing theories, and which, in the opinion of the author of the document, have practical value. Specify limits of accuracy and reliability of the data, and also degree of their justification. Specify whether digital values are primary or derivative, outcome of one observation or re-testing.

All the presented results must be confirmed by the figures. Do not say that the value of some indicator of «increased» or «decreased», you need to give the border «from…to…».Should be based on the provisions made by the author in the conclusions, but, if necessary, to complement them the actual digital material.

If the study started recently, but the findings are preliminary, the article is not subject to selection in AGRIS.

Abstract text begin a phrase in which formulated the main theme of the document. The information contained in the title and the bibliographic description should not be repeated in the summary text.

For the beginning of the essay rather one of the opening phrase, for example, a brief statement of the problem, which is intended to solve the study. It is not necessary to justify the relevance of the topic, to emphasize the novelty of the work or the author’s contribution.

Categorically not allowed to bring information that is publicly known or is not the result of the study (for example, statistics from the introduction).

The volume of text is determined by the document content (amount of information, its scientific value and/or practical value), and also availability and language of a peer-reviewed document. Recommended average volume of abstract of 850 printed characters.

The article is signed by all authors with the indication of postal addresses (if you have one, e-mail) and phone numbers, and also with mark, with whom to correspond.

Given that the editorial Board send to the NEB an electronic version of each issue, with the author or group of authors must be enclosed license agreement. A sample form can be downloaded here.

Articles of Russian postgraduate and doctoral students are published in the journals for free.

How to prepare a review of a scientific article

Before publication in journals included in the VAK List of academic articles are peer reviewed. The meaning of this procedure is as follows: the article to be tested from the point of view of its content (consistency, validity, reliability) and execution (structure and availability of required items).

Review is a special document drawn up on behalf of the reviewer. Reviewer can be a person with a scientific degree and academic status preferably in the field corresponding to the subject of the article. The reviewer provides a brief analysis of the reviewed articles give evaluations of content and presentation: evaluates the size of the article, checks the compilation of abstracts and keywords in Russian and English languages, correctness of references and the presence of the bibliography, sets the relevance of the article topics of specialization of the publication.

  • Текст набран с одинарым межстрочным интервалом, шрифт Times New Roman, 12 pt; для выделения используется курсив, а не подчеркивание (кроме интернет-ссылок); все иллюстрации, графики и таблицы расположены в тексте там, где требуется по смыслу (а не в конце документа).

  • Текст соответствует стилистическим и библиографческим требованиями Руководства для Авторов, расположенном в разделе "О нас".

  • Были удалены имена авторов из заголовка статьи и выполнены другие требования документа Обеспечение Анонимности при Рецензировании.
