Abstract

The influence of plant preparations metosept and vitanorm on posttraumatic regeneration rate of rat skin has been investigated. We performed the dynamics of the differentiation potential of rat skin on the 2nd, 8th and 14th days after a full thickness skin wound was made to the dorsum. The experimental animals were treated with a mixture of preparations every day for 1 week before and for 18 days after injury. The evaluation of the injured area exhibited that regeneration of skin most effectively occurs at local application of preparations. Oral treatment with preparations was effective in a dose of 40-60 mg/rat. The reduction of wound area and puffiness was observed at the 2nd day after the surgery and was 10% at the 8th postoperational day, whereas in the control rats it was 40% of initial Fourteen days after the loss of the scab was observed, and the recovery of hair growth was monitored at the 18th day. In the control group full healing of wounds was observed by 20-22 days. The highest number of dendritic cells and macrophages was revealed by immunohistochemistry in the experimental animals at the 8th and 14th days after injury. Thus, complex application of preparations metosept and vitanorm stimulates innate immunity, accelerates the recovery of the derma and facilitates wound healing.

Abstract

The results of combined treatment of 123 patients with degenerative-dystrophic diseases of spine using detensor-therapy and normobaric interval hypoxic training were studied. The treatment was performed with using the DETENSOR method for careful traction of spine and hypoxicators of the firm Trade Medical. The application of combined exposure of detensor-therapy and normobaric interval hypoxic training improved the state of all parts of functional respiratory system: external respiration, blood-circulation, blood oxygen capacity, oxygen saturation of arterial blood. Besides all the clinical presentations of disease were significantly reduced in comparison to the control group (pain syndrome reduced in 2.8 times in comparison to the control group). The combined application of normobaric hypoxic training and detensor-therapy has absolute advantage to the separate use of these methods. The integrative method can be recommended for curing patients with degenerative-dystrophic changes of spine.

Abstract

The aim of this review is to present the evidence of the key role of verticalization in the general system of rehabilitation. For that purpose there have been demonstrated the basic data from the fields of gravitational biology, simulated microgravitation research, molecular biology and space medicine published mostly in 2008-2009. It has been shown that some profound events take place at the molecular biology level very early in the course of hospitalization solely due to the position of the body across the vector of gravity.

Izmeneniya urovney belkov krovi pri sovmestnom vozdeystviiantiortostaticheskoy gipokinezii i blokatora k+/h+AT Fazy omeprazola

Larina O.N., Bekker A.M.

Abstract

Blood concentrations of α1-antitrypsin (α1-AT), α1-acid glycoprotein (α1-AGP), α2-macroglobulin (α2-M), and haptoglobin (Hp) were measured in 8 test subjects who consecutively participated to two series of head down tilt (HDT -15o) study: HDT without the use of pharmaceutical agents (control series) and HDT after the intake of K+H+ATPase inhibitor Omeprazole (Omez) in therapeutic doses. The results showed that in contrast to control series with pure HDT, combined influence of HDT and Omeprazole caused the decrease in α1-AT and Hp blood levels (difference between series showing statistical reliability for Hp). HDT conditions caused the decrease in α1-AGP and α2-M both in the presence and absence of Omeprazole. The reason for decrease in protease inhibitors (α1-AT and α2-M) in this study could be the release of lysosomal proteases from leukocytes while Omeprazole seemed to enhance this effect. An abrupt decline of Hp concentration in HDT series with Omeprazole suggests the lowering of erythrocyte membrane stability caused by this medicine. The results obtained show the possibility that Omeprazole can modulate postural and gravitational effects on blood protein concentrations
