COMPARATIVE ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF BERRIES OF MORUS NIGRA L., MORUS ALBA L. AND MORUS REBRA L
Abstract
The article discusses the results of antioxidant activity of berries extract of Morus nigra L., Morus alba L., and Morus rebra L. We have studied the total content of antioxidants in the extract of these species berries using liquid chromotographer “Tsvet Yauza-01-AA”. Amperometric method was used for measuring of mass concentration of antioxidants. We determined the quantity of antioxidants using analytical curve of dependence of exit signal on the quercetine and gallic acid concentration. The study resulted on the revelation of antioxidant content in alcohol, water-alcohol, and water extracts from the objects of study mentioned above.

ROSMARINIC ACID AND ITS PLANT SOURCES IN THE CRIMEA
Abstract
The article presents data on the content of phenolics and rosmarinic acid in 32 species of aromatic and medicinal plants from Lamiaceae, Asteraceae and Apiaceae families, native to the South Coast of the Crimea. The concentration of phenolic compounds in the studied species was 490.3 - 18511.0 mg/100g of plant raw materials. Rosmarinic acid was found in 15 species from Lamiaceae and Asteraceae families. Rosmarinic acid was not noticed in the studied plants from Apiaceae family. The concentration of rosmarinic acid in the studied plants amounted to 40.6 - 2535.5 mg/100g of plant raw materials. On the basis of the obtained results such species as Origanum vulgare L., Majorana hortensis Moench., Mentha longifolia L., Thymus vulgaris L. (thymol type) can be considered as a promising source of rosmarinic acid.

STUDY OF PHENOLCARBONIC ACIDS OF SALIX TRIANDRA L. TENDRILS GROWING IN THE NORTH CAUCASUS
Abstract
Qualitative and quantitative composition of phenolcarbonic acids in one year tendrils of Salix triandra L. was determined. Identification in quantitative determination of certain phenolcarbonic acids was carried out using high-performance liquid chromatography. Six individual substances were discovered. The total content of the sum of phenolcarbonic acids was determined with extraction-photometric method, based on a selective extraction from acidulous solution into ethyl acetate. The highest content of phenolcarbonic acids (about 0.47%) was detected in the leaves of Salix triandra L., the lowest content was detected in the tendrils without leaves (about 0.40%). Phenolcarbonic acids discovered in the tendrils of Salix triandra L. may significantly contribute to the total pharmacological effect.

FLAVONOIDS IN THE GRASS OF TRIBULUS TERRESTRIS L
Abstract
The article presents active parts of Tribulus terrestris L. as a perspective sample for study. We have provided an example of flavonoids determination with high-performance liquid chromatography / MS at the Waters Acquility chromatographer with tandem quadrupolar MS-detector TQD (Waters).

TECHNOLOGY, ANALYSIS, AND STUDY DEVELOPMENT OF HEPATOPROTECTIVE ACTION OF SUPPOSITORIES WITH RIBOXINUM
Abstract
To elaborate the composition of the suppositories with riboxinum we have studied physical and chemical, and structural and mechanical characteristics of different bases. Witepsol-H15 was chosen as a preferable base. We have carried out the quality estimation of the developed suppositories in accordance with regulatory documentation. The analysis methods offered are validated and proved to be specific, right and precise. The analysis error is equal to ±0.98%. Suppositories with riboxinum at dose 15 mg/kg shows signified hepatoprotective action at white rats with experimental acute toxic hepatitis evoked by carbon tetrachloride injection, which exceeds the similar pills effect.

ESTIMATION OF INDUSTRIAL WASTE SAFETY BY THE “CHEMICAL OXYGEN DEMAND” INDEX
Abstract
One of the indices of industrial waste safety including distillers grains is chemical oxygen demand (COD), and its value (53591÷64184 mg O/dm 3) shows that it can be considered as unsustainable waste. This high value of COD is conditioned by the absence of toxins in distillers grains, and by concentration of biologically active substances after which isolation the distillers grains index lowers by 74%. This allows considering the distillers grains as environmentally safe. The results received evidence the necessity for consideration of COD index only as an index of oxidized substances, but not the criteria of waste pollution.

VALIDATION ESTIMATION OF BAICALIN DETERMINATION USING PLANAR CHROMATOGRAPHY
Abstract
The search for available and at the effective method of quantitative determination of Baicalin in liquid complex phyto-extraction was the purpose of this work. The article shows experimental data of quantitative determination of Baicalin, received with densitometry. The method was validated, therefore there is an opportunity of its use for identification and quantitative determination of Baicalin in plants active parts.

GINGIVAL TISSUE MICROCIRCULATION FEATURES IN PATIENTS WITH INCISOR CROWDING
Abstract
Morphological parameters of the capillaries (diameter, linear and volumetric blood-flow rate, capillary network density) were evaluated in children and adolescents aged 12 to 15 years with normal occlusion and dentoalveolar anomalies using the computer capillaroscopy device KK 4-01 (“TSAV” JSC Center “Analiz veschestv”). We have also carried out a visual assessment of the microcirculation. The patients with jaw-bones hypoplasia and crowded teeth revealed deeper location of the arterioles and venules and reduced morphometric parameters of tissue blood flow, thus it indicates signified rheological disorders at the early stages of atrophic processes in the periodontal tissues.

CAPILLARY BLOOD FLOW STATE ESTIMATION DURING PATIENTS TREATMENT WITH ORTODENTIC MECHANICAL APPLIANCES
Abstract
Laser Doppler flowmetry was used to investigate the palatal muscosa capillary blood-flow in children aged 4.5-9 years with crowded teeth undergoing treatment with removable orthodontic appliances from cold-cured base polymers. The results obtained from the examination of the capillary blood flow based on the amplitude standard deviation, the variation coefficient, the amplitudes of vasomotor, breathing, and cardiorhythms, as well as the indices for active and passive mechanisms of blood flow modulation at the areas under study, showed that the hemodynamics indices in the palatal muscosa got disturbed a month after the treatment was started while the disturbances went even worse at later stages.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF GASTROPROTECTIVE ACTIVITY OF TRANSDERMAL ETHYLMETHYLHYDROXYPYRIDINE SUCCINATE
Abstract
We have carried out an experimental study of dose-dependent gastroprotective activity of transdermal plaster with ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate (mexidol), the purpose of which was the histological study of gastric mucosa, determination of lipid peroxidation (LP) in gastric tissue supernatant, weight study of thymus, spleen, and adrenals. Ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate has gastroprotective action in transdermal implementation at 20-75 mg/kg dose on the model of 18-hour immobilization of animals which had been starving for 24 hours.

SPORT FOOD ADDITIVE CLASSIFICATION
Abstract
Correctly organized nutritive and pharmacological support is an important component of an athlete’s preparation for competitions, an optimal shape maintenance, fast recovery and rehabilitation after traumas and defatigation. Special products of enhanced biological value (BAS for athletes nutrition) are used with this purpose. Easy-to-use energy sources are administered into athlete’s organism, yielded materials and biologically active substances which regulate and activate exchange reactions which proceed with difficulties during certain physical trainings. The article presents sport supplements classification which can be used before warm-up and trainings, after trainings and in competitions breaks.
