ARCHITECTURAL TYPOLOGY AS THE TOOL OF DESIGNING MODERN CULTURAL-LEISURE THE CENTER

MALAKhOV S.A., REPINA E.A., SPIRYuGOVA A.N.

Abstract

«Сonsumer society» - so often name model of a modern society. Scheme «consumptions-expenditure-debts» describes such type of life. The new typology of the public center – trading moll and comprehensive advertizing became its icon. However, probably that the world of ruling principles of the market sometime will change, on change other reference points will come.Business “invents” new requirements and creates pseudo-values. In traditional cultures the most valuable to the person – simple things. Spaces aren’t created in a city for these simple “vital” things. The problem of their shortage can be solved architectural means - creation modern cultural-leisure the centres. Designation of the general typology of such center prematurely, because we, probably, will come to new, while unknown typology as a result of the analysis. Typology will create and fill this center. Their names and function will be invented and interpreted again.Possible principles of designing are allocated in our hypothesis and it is allocated three ways of using with such tool as architectural typology: 1) a way of symbols; 2) a way of filling of space different and mixtures new typologies, and also ritual functions; 3) a way of mixture of old typologies.

THIRD SPACE. GENERAL THEORY OF HETEROTOPIA BY MICHEAL DEHAENE AND LIEVEN DE CAUTER

MASTALERZh N.A.

Abstract

The term “heterotopia” was introduced by french philosopher Michel Foucault in his lecture in 1967 , that he held for some french architects. He was talking about some other spaces. “Other spaces” was published only in 1984, and since then has enjoyed increased attention from theoreticians of architecture, also as “an attempt to put forward a new theory of time-space”. But this article is not about Foucault’s vision, but about theoretical work of Michiel Dehaene (architect, urbanist, PhD) and Leiven De Cauter (philosopher, art historian, writer, activist), who made attempt to rethink the Foucault’s text, on the one hand by exposing him to criticism, on the other - seeing it as something that will give a new approach to the dichotomy of “public – private.” The article gives a brief overview of the general theory heterotopia, its theoretical validity and recognition principles.

IMPACT OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROGRESS ON THE PROCESS OF BORDER BETWEEN INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ARCHITECTURAL SPACE

RADULOVA Y.I., LEKAREVA N.A.

Abstract

The concept of spatial boundaries is presented as the joints of the two states of the space. The evolution of the architectural boundaries under the influence of scientific and technological progress is considered. The problems of forming the architectural boundaries in the network of the science and technological progress are revealed. The examples of new environmental concepts in design practice, which include the ability of energy saving, air cleansing, reducing hazardous waste in manufacturing and construction and increasing the environment’s visual comfort, are such buildings as the «Replay Store», «Caixa Forum» Museum, Hotel «Athenaeum», «Ann Demeulmeester» boutique.

HYPOTHESIS OF THE DESIGNING ENVIRONMENT FOR BLIND PEOPLE ON THE BASIS OF THE PHENOMENOLOGICAL AND SYNAESTHETIC APPROACHES

REPINA E.A., UDINSKAYa A.A.

Abstract

The modern person is in constant movement, the culture is aimed at narcissism and domination, aspires to something new and ideal, moral and moral values are forgotten. It doesn’t have trust to associates and by Wednesday in which it only «is», instead of «lives». Life of the blind person is arranged differently. Its rhythm of life much more slowly as it studies environment tactile, sensually. In modern design practice all spectrum of feelings in favor of visual perception is subjected to repression. It is necessary to create such image of architecture and design which will be read both able to see and blind people. We address to phenomenology and the phenomenon synaesthesia as with their help we can project environment, as a phenomenon which will be accessible to understanding to any person. The phenomenology is directed on empirical and перцептивное perception which has been forgotten by the modern architects perceiving architecture, as a formal composition. Such architecture aspires to admiration, to creation of atmosphere of eternity and совершенности lives. Synaesthesia allows us to plunge into the world of feelings in “metaphysical” measurement, as in Hitchcock and Tarkovsky’s films or in photos Walker Evans.

POLLUTANTS’ CONCENTRATION INFLUENCE ON THE SHAPE OF AVERAGED TWO-PHASE FLOW VELOCITY DIAGRAM

KALININ A.V.

Abstract

Preliminary results of experimental studies on the phenomenon of changing the shape of the diagrams of averaged velocity at the inlet and outlet of the devices for pre-treatment of surface runoff from coarse impurities are given. The comparison of laboratory results with the results of measurements made in the reservoirs in the drainage area of the old city in Paris proves the possibility of studying this phenomenon using the physical model. More extensive research in this area can improve the existing mathematical model of the two-phase flows in water drainage systems.
