Looking through the literature on the effect of chronic morphine poisoning on the state of female genital organs, the author found that most of the observations refer to functional changes, and only recently there have been very scanty information about objective changes in the sexual sphere in morphine addicts.

The majority of interstitial fibroids, increasing during pregnancy, in the postpartum period together with the uterus undergo a reverse development - which, by fatty degeneration of cellular elements, partly by reverse development and desolation of blood vessels, can even lead to their complete disappearance; the author cites two similar cases from literature - Martin'a and Vasiliev.

Noting the frequency of posterior bending of the uterus and the severity of local and general symptoms caused by this incorrect position of the uterus, the author considers the treatment of this disease to be one of the most interesting gynecological issues of the day.

In the article, everything that is still known in the literature regarding hematomas of female external genital organs, the frequency of their appearance outside pregnancy, during pregnancy and childbirth and in the postpartum period, conditions, causes and mechanism of their origin, and finally, their recognition , the value for the body, outcomes and indications for one or another therapeutic intervention.

The author prefers a fresh infusion of 15.0 to 180.0 to a liquid extract of gossypii herbacei, after 1 / 2-1 hour a tablespoon; indications - uterine bleeding, atonic state of the uterus after childbirth. The author did not have to observe any side effects from this remedy.
