Thermoviscoplastic cyclic deformation and fracture of materials

Bondar V.S., Danshin V.V.

Abstract

The paper considers the main theses and equations of the modern theory of thermoviscoplasticity (inelasticity). The authors highlight material functions, formulate the basic experiment and method for identifying the material functions which enclose the theory of thermoviscoplasticity. The possibility of the theory are illustrated to adequately describe the processes of deformation and fracture of structural steels and alloys in a variety of modes of thermal power cyclic loading.

Determination of mechanical properties of foam aluminum under impact loading

Bondar V.S., Temis Y.M., Biryukov M.V.

Abstract

In the framework of the work the authors conducted a simulation of the behavior of porous materials of different densities under the influence of impact loading. Results of computational experiment were compared with the results obtained using the model of Deshpande-Fleck porous material.

Determination of optimal parameters of damper system for explosion protection of a structure on the basis of foam aluminum

Bondar V.S., Temis Y.M., Biryukov M.V.

Abstract

The authors considered the use of sandwich packs as protection of a technical object from the explosion. A comparative study of the effect of blast waves of varying intensity on the deformation of the sandwich package was conducted. Optimal characteristics of a sandwich package were founded.

Stress-strain state of the tool in the flow process of a thin plastic layer

Bodunov M.A., Bobrodin I.V., Bodunov D.M.

Abstract

The paper continues research of group of authors on flow of thin layer of plastically anisotropic material on the surface of elastic body. Previously obtained results are used to formulate the problem of elasticity theory and the study of stress-strain state of an elastic body (tool).

Longitudinal bending of compound rod with symmetric tightening

Vorontsov A.P.

Abstract

The paper discusses the problem of longitudinal bending of a compound two-branch rod, with two symmetrical tightening, stressed with longitudinal compressive and transverse loads, which branches are affected by pre-plastic deformation as extension and compression. Calculations were carried out on the basis of equations of longitudinal bending process, taking into account the influence of the efforts of prior rod compression and plastic training of rod branches elements.

Calculation of operators, which solve problems of heat conduction in straight cylinders using semigroup symmetry

Ivanov D.Y.

Abstract

The paper discuses an efficient method for calculating network operators, which solve initial boundary value problems for the homogeneous heat conduction equation with constant coefficients in cylindrical domain with zero initial conditions and boundary conditions on the grounds and inhomogeneous boundary conditions on the lateral surface of the cylinder. The savings have been achieved through calculation of operators in the algebra of polynomials formed by power of spatial-temporal semigroup operator as well as the separation of calculations by spatial variables along element and base of cylinder. Along all the variables quadratic approximation is used. The convergence and stability of method are proved, approximation orders are obtained relatively digitalization of different variables.

Algebra of electric and weak charges

Kalpina N.Y., Ketsaris A.A.

Abstract

The article explores the relationship between the laws of multiplication of vectors in contravariant Clifford algebra and matrixes of weak electric charges. As a result, it is established that the algebra of electric and weak charges can be considered as a subalgebra of contravariant Clifford algebra. Structural constants of contravariant Clifford algebra are considered over the set of real numbers, complex numbers and quaternions.

Generalized integral pulses of flows and forces and potentials of visco-elastic bodies of Boltzmann-Kelvin type

Korol E.Z.

Abstract

The paper considers full group of one-dimensional or multidimensional potentials of stress and strain of rheological materials, which are described by linear and quasilinear integral ratios of Boltzmann-Kelvin type, containing one pair of temporary relaxation and creep functions, interconnected together with linear integral equations of Maxwell reciprocity. The built group of potentials as a function of integral pulse flows and forces satisfies Legendre-Eiler transformations and forms a chain of Gibbs-Helmholtz in generalized Bourne diagram. Variants of potential relations are shown.

Model for contact friction in flow process of a thin plastic layer

Kiyko I.A.

Abstract

The variant of the theory of flow of a thin layer of plastic material is proposed. The new model of friction on contact surfaces is used. The model is based on hypothesis of a close physical connection between anisotropy of plastic material texture of contact surface.

Influence of parameters of geometrically nonlinear endochronic theory of inelasticity on description of stress relaxation process

Kadashevich Y.I., Pomytkin S.P., Pomytkina T.B.

Abstract

The paper considers tensor-parametric version of endochronic theory of inelasticity for large deformations and rotations, taking into account the time effects. Stress relaxation process in material was numerically modeled. There was examined an impact of parameter included in the deformation gradient and parameter of hardening material to form curves "voltage~time" and their quantitative characteristics. The results of numerical experiments are shown.

Self-oscillations in one-dimensional elastic systems with friction

Pozhalostin A.A., Panshina A.V.

Abstract

The possibility of self-oscillations in the case of transverse vibrations of elastic homogeneous beams is investigated taking into account presence of dry friction in system. The problem is solved using examples of a beam suspended by one end on rotating shaft and a beam articulated at ends. The method of replacing original system by equivalent mechanical oscillation system is used.

Gravitational analogue of the Earth and its shape

Rusanov P.G.

Abstract

Method of numerical simulation of shape of the Earth has shown that its real shape does not correspond to the central gravitational field. Two-mass analogue source of noncentral gravity field of the Earth in form of a nucleus and the equatorial ring is proposed. There were calculated two element masses model and radius of ring under which the estimated figure of the Earth and dependence gravitational acceleration on its surface on latitude correspond to experimental data and international agreements.

Experience of using the variational principle of Hamilton-Ostrogradskiy to practical issues of compilation of differential equations of autonomous small oscillations

Serov M.V., Averyanova G.M., Karnacheva E.V.

Abstract

The article discusses the possibility of using integral variational principle of Hamilton-Ostrogradskiy to the practical issues of compilation of differential equations of autonomous small oscillations for a system with two degrees of freedom. System of differential equations of autonomous small oscillations and crystal pulling mechanism in the apparatus for growing silicon was obtained and solved, which allows to achieve elimination of resonance frequencies while designing an installation for silicon growing.
