Vucenovic A.

Abstract

The phenomenon of light and shadow is discussed by many sciences, including art criticism. And what does the shadow really represent? What is the relationship between light and shadow? When and why do we use shadows as a technique in theatrical performances? This work explores the shadow as a consequence of the action of light on an object that does not allow it to pass through - the "gray shadow" in theatrical performances. There Are numerous theatrical performances in which diverse projections and shadows are used as expressive means. We use shadow in the theater when we want to know, to see the unlit, hidden side of someone or something. This physical phenomenon has always attracted the attention of people of different cultures and eras and naturally found application in theatrical performances. They involve in either multi-colored or gray shadows. When an object does not transmit light completely appears - a "gray shadow", denoting only the contours of a certain object, the silhouette of the object used in the theatrical performance. Folk art in the form of riddles, games and other things created phrases that are an important guide in understanding and determining the laws of their existence in theatrical works. Shadows turned out to be interesting and useful in training actors and directors of the puppet theater.

REFLECTION OF THE SAMKKHYA’S ONTOLOGICAL MODEL IN THE SPATIAL ORGANIZATION OF THE INDIAN VASTU-MANDAL

Denisov D.V.

Abstract

The paper describes the regularity of the transition from the 25-element sankhya model to the 45-element structure of the vastu-mandalas. The author takes into account mathematical, structural and functional problems. The allocation of the first four ontological principles of Samkhya, as well as the sixth one, is similar to those of the Pythagorean Tetractys, but the fifth and the seventh to the ninth principles are expressed in each case by five-element groups, symbolizing the space of human life. The results obtained are applied to the analysis of cultural processes and geopolitical issues. The author describes the ontological foundations for identifying the "northern" and "southern" cultures and explains the inevitability of the confrontation between East and West. The analysis confirmed the characteristics of the space sectors, adopted in the ancient Indian picture of the world. Review of 40- / 45-element models includes the numerical model of Vastu-vidya in a general scientific context that has multiple temporal applications. An outstanding organization of vastu-mandalas allows to take into account general laws, analyze geopolitical processes, and perform functional zoning, combining the experience of antiquity and the achievements of modern times. The author considers that the analyzed models must be included into the methodological apparatus of the modern science.

WINTER AS A SYMBOL OF THE DEATH OF THE SOUL IN THE CYCLE "WINTER SONNETS" BY V. IVANOV

Antonyuk A.Y.

Abstract

This article discusses the cycle of V.I. Ivanov's "Winter Sonnets", which the author wrote in a difficult time for him. From the first to the last (12th) sonnet, the lyric tries to preserve his soul. We examined the specifics of the poet's lyrics, the image of winter as a symbol of death and came to the conclusion that these sonnets represent a lyric cycle, since it has “author's contexts” (“graveyard of snowdrifts”, winter is a symbol of death, an orphan, a widow), a certain author's intention of combining poems, which is to show how the lyric hero overcomes difficulties, tries to save his soul when there is a blizzard, winter and snowdrifts around. All poems follow a certain order, showing the path of the lyric hero. The fifth sonnet stands out from this row, as it makes a reference to the past of the lyric hero. According to the typology of cyclical texts by M. Darwin, this cycle is connected, since it has a common title and has a certain sequence, which was set by the author himself.

SECONDARY TEXTS AS A VARIANT OF THE "TRANSCODING" OF THE CLASSICS

Maryaskina E.A., Nekrasov I.V.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of modern Russian literature, created on the basis of the classics. On the example of the stories "The Lady with the Dog", "Darling", etc., the secondary texts of G. N. Shcherbakova from the collection of short stories "Yashkin's Children" are considered as variants of "recoding" of "Chekhov's texts". The analysis of some texts from the collection is carried out, the methods and techniques of turning modern texts to classical ones are determined. It was revealed that the integral elements of the context of A. P. Chekhov in the work of the modern writer G. N. Shcherbakova's works are intertextual dialogue, an anachronization of intertextual material. Intertextuality is implemented using various techniques and methods: the reproduction of a classical text in a modern situation, a dialogue with the Chekhov text and its characters, an insert story, borrowing titles, plots, and storytelling methods.
