Installation of complex computer-aided design system at design institute

Abstract
This paper exemplifies creating and using of a complex computer-aided design (CAD) system at the Automated Process Control Systems (APCS) department of the Ghiprovostokneft OJSC. The order of the project implementation by traditional ways, without using of complex CAD-system is given. Criteria of a choice of CAD system for automation of design department actions are defined. The set of programs for the maximum automation of performance of standard operations is worked out. The algorithm of design by using the CAD system is developed. Methods of interprogram interaction and adaptation of software products to the organizational structure of the APCS department are shown. In the process of making up a set of programs the priority was given to the domestically developed CAD systems which is essential in the conditions of import substitution.

Synthesis of time-optimal control system of the State-Constrained induction heating processes with interval of uncertainty characteristics of the object

Abstract
This paper presents the problem of synthesis of the time-optimal system to control the process of induction heating of a workpiece for further chipless shaping with partial condition testing in conditions of the interval indeterminancy of the object characteristics considering the constraint on the state of maximum temperature. The obtained optimal algorithm of control with feedbacks is completed with special section on which the maximum temperature is maintained on the lowest acceptable level. Equations for the feedback coefficient calculation are shown and the structure of obtained closed-loop system is given. Numerical values of the feedback coefficients are calculated for the basic data of the induction heating process given as example, graphs of control input and temperature pattern are constructed.

Specific nature of cooperation between agents in terms of the multiagent system architecture development

Abstract
This paper describes the main types of agent architectures which can be used in energy sector. The paper deals with the possibility of using such architectures to model the agents of electrical power system. Multiagent system architectures which consist of these agents are described, as well as ways to organize cooperation between agents in such systems. Classification of agent cooperation models and their detailed description are given, their advantages and disadvantages are pointed out as well as the possibility of using them in energy sector. The conclusion is drawn about the applicability of the architecture based on the indirect model of cooperation between agents and general model of energy system which determines both potential understanding of agents and the possibility of their potential interaction.

The method of successive integration for measurement sensors

Abstract
The paper deals with the method of separate measurement of the parametric sensor parameters using instantaneous values of the measuring circuit signal based on the application of additional integration operation within specified time period. This method has three main advantages: 1). the result of measurement doesn’t depend on the input signal; 2). this method is versatile as it can be used both in transient mode and sustained mode; 3). simple circuit without high-precision electric components. In order to eliminate the quantization error of the AD converter when using this method on the microprocessor based unit, digital correction using the second measurement channel is proposed. The simulation model for measurement of the capacitive sensor parameters is given.

The analysis of errors of the separate determination of the capacitive sensor parameters due to the measuring chain nonideality

Abstract
This paper deals with a new method of measuring the capacitive sensors parameters on the instantaneous values of transient processes on the sections of the measuring circuit that contain two exemplary elements. Unlike the known methods based on the capacity determination on individual instantaneous values of transient processes, the implementation of the method provides separate definition of both capacity and insulation resistance of capacitive sensor; this improves measurement accuracy of informative parameter. Typical block diagram of the information-measuring system that implements the method is given. The paper shoes the results of the analysis of errors that occur due to deviation of the actual transition process from the one put into the model. The optimal choice of the measuring circuit items in accordance with the requirements of accuracy and measurement time can be made according to the results obtained.

Abstract
Problem statement specifics are consideredthe problem of reliability and efficiency optimization of communication sessions for swarm of spacecrafts (SC) and Mission Control Centre (MCC) heterogeneous data transfer via ground stations network. To solve this problem, we need to find a dynamic balance of interests between tasks and resources. Thismeansthat the number of individual operations characteristics, stations equipment specifics and other significant parameters will be considered. The multi-agent approach in order to solve this problem is justified. Multi-agent technologies allow to create flexible self-organizing schedules of communication sessions of SC group with MCCvia the ground stations network.

An error estimate for the implementation of the method of measuring the parameters of harmonic signals

Abstract
This paper deals with a new method of measuring the parameters of harmonic signals at their instantaneous values as the voltage passes zero point. Unlike the known methods based on the formation of additional voltage and current signals, the implementation of the method allows to eliminate the error caused by the non-identical phase angles of phase-shifting units in current and voltage channels. The structural diagram of the measurement means implementing the method is given. The paper shows the results of error analysis of the phase-shifting units which causes the difference between the input signal amplitude value and the signal amplitude at the output of the phase-shifting unit. The obtained results allow to choose the hardware and the measuring process parameters most appropriate in terms of accuracy and measurement time.

Definition of qualitative and quantitative analysis of components of complex mixtures using multidetector chromatograph

Abstract
The steps of the process of qualitative and quantitative components analysis of complex mixtures are: enumeration, such as registration signals, evaluation of informative parameters, complete processing- receipt by informative parameters of the analysis. The process of the signals formation in multidetector chromatography is considered. The various options for serial and parallel placement of the detectors after the column are analysed. On the basis of multidetector chromatograph the algorithm for separation of overlapped signals is developed. It is shown that such algorithm allow to increase the accuracy of determining the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the composition of multicomponent mixtures.

About the role of energy and characteristics of high-speed impact and superdeep introduction of particles

Abstract
This paper analyzes the influence of impact parameters on the process of super-deep penetration of particles. The parametrical principle which reveals the possibility of super-deep penetration of particles is defined. The role of a shock wave of the detonation products as the factor of preliminary strain of crystalline lattice for the subsequent penetration of particles is shown. The algorithm of energy balance for super-deep penetration is developed. The mechanism of super-deep penetration by rupture of intermolecular and interatomic bonds during the penetration of the particles is offered. The substantiation of a dimensional interval of penetrating particles for super-deep penetration is made.

Study of import granulate Catamold 42CrMo4 MIM for technology

Abstract
This paper deals with study of microstructure, X-ray diffraction and chemical composition of import granulate for MIM technology - Catamold 42CrMo4; this study allowed to give recommendations on the selection of the domestic analogues for the polymer and metal parts of the granulate. Mechanical characteristics of the Catamold 42CrMo4 granulate, such as density, melt flow rate, bulk density and bulk weight are determined. Foreign patents are analyzed. The basic patent for the feedstocks of BASF Catamold is European patent EP 046590 issued in 1992 for thermoplastic compositions for the manufacture of metal products. On the basis of this patent, main criteria for the selection of the binder are considered, as well as examples of use of different types of chords, their advantages and disadvantages. As a result, promising directions in the area of the application of the binder for MIM process are determined.

Using finite element modeling for estimation of endurance limit of the specimens made of 12X18H10T steel by residual stress of the reference specimen

Abstract
Method of finite element modeling is used to study the influence of hydraulic shot blasting on endurance limit of notched cylindrical specimens made of 12X18H10T steel by residual stress of the reference specimen. The results obtained are used as a basis for development of the method for estimation of endurance limit increment of parts strengthened by surface plastic deformation in conditions of stress concentration using the average integral residual stress criterion.

Research of active vibration protection system with controlled magnerheological damper at random disturbance

Abstract
The paper deals with the closed-loop active vibration protection system of precision optical-mechanical complex exposed to random cinematic disturbance. The magnerheological damper is used as actuating element. Method of optimum regulator synthesis is used; it provides the sustainable operation of the closed-loop system and minimal approved quality index. The paper shows that simplification of the optimal regulator structure has no significant negative effect on control quality index of the closed-loop system. Effect of the random disturbance parameter variation on control quality index in the closed-loop system is studied.

Analysis of effectiveness of starting modes of two-section methodical action induction heater

Abstract
This paper deals with the ways to improve the efficiency of control of non-stationary operation modes of two-section methodical action induction heater. The problem of control of transient modes of multi-section induction heater is defined as searching for object control parameters which, during the transition to stationary mode in conditions of technological and power limitations, would provide effective (to some extent) transition to the stationary heating mode with required final temperature distribution of a workpiece leaving the heater. This problem is solved on the basis of non-linear mathematical model of the process considering technological and power limitations and parameters of power source. During the transition to the stationary mode, the heater is controlled through three channels: voltage applied to each section of the heater and voltage applied to the worpiece transfer mechanism. Different types of starting mode control algorithms considering the non-linear nature of ferromagnetic loading are analyzed, recommendations for choosing the power-efficient algorithms are given.

Abstract
The mathematical model of the electric power system is developed; this model considers the parameters of transformers, power line, static compensating devices, synchronous and asynchronous motors. The functional diagram of double-loop automatic control system is developed on the basis of this model; this automatic system controls various parameters of the power supply system mode by continuous change of drive voltage of the synchronous motor and discrete switching of capacitor bank capacity at fixed periods of time. The control system consist of two loops: the inner loop controls driving voltage and the outer loop controls the parameter with external feedback.

Numerical-analytical model of temperature fields of flow through induction oil heater

Abstract
The paper describes the procedure of finding expressions for temperature fields of the flow through induction heater as an object with distributed parameters. The paper considers a formulation of two-dimensional problem in polar coordinates with further transition into Cartesian coordinates. To solve the partial differential system, the method of finite integral transformation, Laplace transformation and numerical-analytical method with using spatial spline interpolation of distribution signal are applied. A new method of realization of dynamic model of the object with distributed parameters in simulation software was proposed. The paper performs the simulation which gives basic statistic and dynamic characteristics of behavior of the heater temperature fields.

Alternance ortimization method in the coefficient inverse heat conduction problem

Abstract
This paper deals with the extremely formulated inverse heat conduction problem (IHCP); the goal is to define the variable coefficient of thermal conductivity. On the basis of error of uniform approximation of resulting temperature distribution to required distribution, the problem is formulated as parametrical optimization problem which corresponds to nominally correct formulation of problem. The value to be defined is considered as sought optimal control action. The solution of optimization problem is based on the alternance properties of sought optimal solutions and allows to obtain optimal values of sought parameters vector with stated structure of control action. Test example shows the possibility of practical use of the proposed method to solve the considered type of problems.

Research of central heating network using computer model

Abstract
Urban heating networks powered by heating and power plant and boilers are complex brachigerous hydraulic systems. The main problems of their operation are insufficient pressure difference between direct and reverse pipelines, increased pressure in reverse pipeline, the deregulation of network (the discrepancy between the estimated and actual costs for heat consumers) and others. These problems can be caused by: excessive consumption of heat carrier, insufficient pipeline diameters, reduction of pipelines diameters as the result of deposits on their inner surfaces, the valves overlap in network sections with high velocities of heat carrier flow, parasitic circulation, etc. The problem of define which of the abovementioned problems is critical is quite complex. Computer models that allow the complete simulation of hydraulic and temperature modes of heating networks are the most effective and precise way to determine the main causes of the abovementioned problems that occur in every heating network. These models consider the heating network as the unified hydraulic systems (taking into account any number of inner ring structures).

Structural-parametric synthesisof multiloop automatic control system of initial oil refining technological process for control object with a transport delay

Abstract
Structural and parametrical synthesis of automatic control system of initial oil refining technological process on the atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit with the control object with transport delay is performed using the engineering design procedure based on alternance method of parametric optimization. The PI-controller is integrated into the regulation structure in order to compensate transport delay. The PD-controller is used to implement the feedback automatic control system by the control object with the first-order astatism. Adjustment parameters for PI- and PD-controllers are defined using the properties of frequency-response characteristics of the feedback control system; to do this, special control systems are designed which are closed towards the regulator adjustment parameters and resonance frequency of frequency-response characteristics.

Operation experience of protectors for oil reservoirs made of recycled aluminum alloys

Abstract
The paper deals with the issues of using recycled aluminum alloys as protectors. The paper gives the characteristics of alloys, selection criteria for dimension-types and properties in case of using them the for oil reservoirs protection. The paper shows the protector designs, dimension-types and special features of using them in various operation conditions. Characteristics of protectors made of recycled aluminum alloys are represented. Testing is performed in order to determine the self-digestion velocity of protector alloys and relationships between protector potential and solution concentration are defined. Recommendations for defining the material design of protectors are given, as well as their dimension-types and application area depending on the oil-product storage conditions.

Modeling the process of periodical rectification of light hydrocarbons

Abstract
The paper deals with the issues of breaking the mixtures of the light hydrocarbons into fractions. The periodical rectification is used as fractionation process. The process flowsheet and its description are presented. Two types of the unit operation are considered: one-time and two-times periodical rectification. Time conditions are determined for each type. As the result of modeling the rectification column operation, volumes and compositions of fractionalization products are obtained. The advantages of two-times periodical rectification are defined. The design of rectification column equipped with automatic transfer switch is proposed.

The paper analyzes the existing methods of shifting the oil well into steady production state. It shows that most control systems that have the bore-hole electric-centrifugal pump use the sensors of dynamic level of liquid. On the basis of the analysis of mathematical model of the oil well the method of its shifting into steady production state without the sensors by means of the open-loop control system is proposed. The analytical expressions are made up, allowing to calculate the parameters of the control input which provides achievement of the required value of dynamic level of liquid in the oil well according to its known parameters.

Objects as elements forming a conceptual simulation of composite systems

Abstract
The simulation of a development process of such composite systems as corporate relationship is allied to the necessarily description of those components which form the conceptual model as well as their further affiliating. The creation of a mathematical model which is suitable for simulation of any composite system always precedes its conceptual model development. The objects are considered as elements forming a conceptual model of composite systems in this article. The definitions of these components and principal relations between them are defined. The concepts «point state» and «system of objects» were reviewed. The goal is to determine those objects' features which strongly influence the conceptual models development of composite systems.

Analysis of the continuous casting ingot solidification using tabular data

Abstract
The paper deals with the technique of approximate mathematical models production based on the data of temperature field in solidifying ingot. The dependence of the effect of casting velocity and cooling regime parameters upon the most important ingot solidification characteristics were obtained in the case of Al alloys continuous casting. The temperature field in ingots was determined as a result of numerical study but the models were obtained in the terms of the elementary function sums with coefficients. The results of application of the models have been presented.
