THE MISTERY OF THE OLD SAMARA’S HOUSE

KOTENKO I.A., KHARITONOVA A.S.

Abstract

The paper views the problem of conservation of architectural environment of historical part of city. The paper tells about the dilapidated stone and wooden historic Samara’s building typical for the end of 19th - early 20th century. The authors argue that the building deserves restoration as part of the historic environment of Samara’s block. The paper put forward a hypothesis about the authorship of the building and its former owners. Making tent covering is reminiscent of some of the features of construction of buildings known Samara’s architect Z. Kleinerman. The authors tried to explain the writing on the wall of the building which is referring to the Samara’s homeowner L.Zelihman. Authors acknowledge that the hypothesis requires documentation. The article provides a unique picture of the facade for which it is possible to restore the lost building.

MIRROR EPISTEMOLOGICAL AND COMPOSITIONAL CAPACITIES IN THE FORMATION OF PICTURE SURFACE SPACE

FILATOVA N.G.

Abstract

In this article mirror pictorial and compositional capacities on a picture surface and connected with them processes of visual culture and visual way of thinking formation are viewed. Functional characteristics of mirror surface in the context of a piece of art are defi ned. An additional plane of projection multiplying points of perception highlights cognitive aspect of an image. It is noted that in communication process a piece of art containing refl ective surfaces gives to audience the intention to open new reality, underlying space that proposes diff erent meanings but keep a distance.

TESTING OF COAGULATING PROPERTIES OF TITANIFEROUS SLUDGE

SPIRIDONOVA L.G.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of industrial wastewater treatment using reagents received from productions wastes. The structure and properties of waste formed by production of titanium products containing ions of the titan, aluminum and iron are investigated. Modeling the process of receiving the reagent based on titanium sludge is made, its coagulating properties are investigated. During receiving process, modeling special att ention is paid to removal of the fl uorides, which are present at sludge. Effi ciency of the received titanic coagulant in comparison with known «Аква-АуратТМ30» reagent is shown. It is experimentally confi rmed that for production of a coagulant it is necessary to use the sludge, which is selected, in a place of its direct education. It is made a conclusion about the possibility of titanium sludge use for receiving reagent and its further use for purifi cation of industrial sewage.

EVALUATION OF WATER ENERGETIC MODES OF ZHIGULEVSKAYA GYDROELECTRIC POWER STATION AND CORRELATION BETWEEN ELECTRIC ENERGY GENERATION AND WATER DISHARGE

MASLIKOV V.I., SIDORENKO G.I.

Abstract

Evaluation of water energetic modes of Zhigulevskaya Hydroelectric Power Station is performed. It is found that operating modes are not always strictly in accordance with requirements for maintaining of water level in head water as well as with water discharge in tail water during the period of spring fl ood, summer-, autumn- and winter runoff low. Evaluation results point to the need for review of the Rules of water management. Analysis of real operating modes of Zhigulevskaya Hydroelectric Power Station shows that long-time annual electric energy generation and guaranteed monthly mean capacity in winter period exceed design specifi cation. Stable statistic patt erns of energy indexes and water discharge characteristics are defi ned. These patt erns can be applied for predicting of electric energy generation by Zhigulevskaya Hydroelectric Power Station taking into account climatic water changes.

A NEW RESOURCE EFFICIENT STONE WALLS SUPPORT STRUCTURE OF A BUILDING

ILYIN N.A., STEPANOV S.V., PANFILOV D.A., LITVINOV D.V.

Abstract

A new resource effi cient solution for damaged stone walls support structure of a building is proposed in the article. This design solution is developed in construction fi eld and can be applied for the repair, strengthening and reconstruction of buildings and structures, and more particularly it is can be used to correct sever damages and to ensure the spatial rigidity of stone walls of a building. Stone walls of building are strengthened by beam tensible band containing longitudinal and transverse bars in the form of steel joists and a device for their articulation and tension, which consists of an anchor cleat and att achement screws with tension nuts. The support device is elaborated taking into account spatial rigidity and load-carrying capacity of existing structures without their dismantling. Positive technical results are obtained due to increased operational reliability and walls spatial rigidity.

DYNAMIC CALCULATION OF NON-CONTACT SEALS GAPS AT PULSE PRESSURE CHANGES DURING LEAKAGE FLOW RATING

KRESTIN E.A.

Abstract

Detection of leakage fl ow through slott ed annular gaps in dynamic studies leads to the discrepancy between theoretical and experimental results. This discrepancy is particularly large for non-stationary processes in hydraulic systems. Dynamic characteristics of annular sealing cracks of contactless seals in a typical single pulse action of pressure are found. The velocity profi le in the gap is viewed, leakage fl ow is rated, the force of viscous friction at the channel wall is calculated, the relaxation current is considered, the weight function of the sealing gap is determined.
