To the question of wombing in inflammatory and purulent diseases of the appendages
Abstract
Patients with inflammatory diseases of the appendages and pelvic peritonitis that join in most cases are for the most part the main contingent of the gynecologist, but at the same time they often burden hospitals with their relatively long stay in them and repeated admission.
Pathologies of cysts of round uterine ligaments
Abstract
The round ligaments are not easily used as a place for the development of cystic formations. But almost all messages in this direction relate to the defeat of the anterior cut of the round ligaments or that part of them, which passes into the inguinal canal. Such neoplasms, being placed in the inguinal canal and spreading further into the large lip, disfigure this area in a corresponding way and simulate inguinal hernia or hydrocele in women.
Casuistry of the oviduct primary cancer
Abstract
The content of my report is a description of a case of a cancerous tumor that has formed and developed in the left fallopian tube. The removal of this tumor was performed on October 14, 1897, by Professor Dmitry Oskarovich Ott at the Imperial Clinical Midwifery Institute.
Neisser's methods of growing gonococci
Abstract
In the past, I had the honor to demonstrate to a respected society the pure culture of gonococci, grown on the environment proposed by Steinshneider in Franzensbad, and here in Kiev taken by me, at the suggestion of the esteemed prof. I. E. Reina. In addition to the wiring themselves, microscopic preparations of pure culture and triperal pus were also demonstrated.
In the present session, for the sake of clarity, I will allow myself to show again the layout of gonococci, both previously obtained and fresh.
Gynecological clinic in Breslavl
Abstract
My story will be of a fragmentary nature, since I will only touch on these aspects of the clinic's activities, which are especially characteristic of the physiognomy of the institution. The lack of statistical data is due to the fact that I could not get the official reports of the Breslavl clinic for the last years, since there are no such reports at all.
Obstetrics and Gynecology in Paris
Abstract
Coming to the message, which I will have the honor to send in today's meeting and which is the result of my 3 months stay in Paris during the summer holidays of 1896, I consider it my duty to warn the respected society that this message about the position of obstetrics and gynecology in the capital of France is far from being exhausted .
Observations during employment at the Dresden obstetric clinic
Abstract
In the summer of 1896, I studied in Dresden with prof. Leopold. I allow myself, in brief outline, to inform the respected society about the course of employment in the Dresden Clinic — as well as about some features of the conduct of childbirth and gynecological operations.
Severe case of puerperal septic panemia treated with anti- streptococcal serum
Abstract
Despite the fact that more than a year has passed since then, as Marmorek proposed the treatment of streptococcal diseases, including postpartum fever, antistreptococcal serum, very few cases have been described in the literature from which one could make a conclusion on the merits of this remedy.
