Resumo

The basis of a company activity is its physical assets. Experience has shown that management of organizations experience uncertainty about the principles on which to build a modern system of management of physical assets, whether there is a common methodology at the international level. The paper presents an analysis of several standards, which together are, in our opinion, a guide to action in implementing such a system.
