MOTIVATION TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND FORMATION OF NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN PREGNANT WOMEN
Abstract
Low motivation of pregnant women to live a healthy lifestyle and acquire adequate food preferences have been established. Over the half of the respondents (51,1 %) report about two daily meals, which are often replaced by snacks; 52,1 % of the survey participants have tea with pastry and bakery products; bread products mainly consumed in the evening predominate in the diet of 12,2 % of the respondents. We have found that the pregnant women have non-balanced diets, in which excessive consumption of total fats, simple carbohydrates with low energy value prevails, and there is a lack of macro- and microelements, including iron and calcium.

PERSISTENCE OF HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS IN THE UTERINE CERVIX AND ALLELIC GENE POLYMORPHISM OF TOLL-LIKE RECEPTORS AND INTERFERON LAMBDA
Abstract
The inheritance of a specific combination of alleles of the genes of toll-like receptors and cytokines is believed to lead to effective immunity against the human papillomavirus; some combinations are associated with insufficient immunity and lead to persistence of the virus in the body The women were examined for the presence of DNA HPV 16 and 18 types by PCR. Depending on the persistence of the virus, the women were divided into two groups and a comparative study was conducted based on the findings of cytological diagnosis of cervical smears for the purpose of early diagnosis of dysplastic changes and molecular genetic analysis of polymorphisms of Toll-like receptor genes (TLR 9 (T-1237C and A2848G), TLR 3 Phe-412 Leu) and cytokine IL28 rs8099917 T> G.

PECULIARITIES OF RECOVERY INFLUENCE OF PICAMILONUM ON THE SYSTEM OF THE BLOOD CIRCULATION IN DISADAPTED SWIMMERS
Abstract
The features of the influence of picamilonum on the indices of systemic circulation of disadapted swimmers were studied. We have demonstrated that the pumping function of the heart in the control and the placebo groups was determined by the activity of the cardiac component and, to a lesser extent, by the vascular component. This is implicated in significant inverse relationships between TPR and pumping and inotropic functions of heart. In the swimmers taking picamilonum, the pumping function of the heart was maintained mainly by inotropic mechanisms. Total peripheral resistence, which was inversely correlated with the pumping function of the heart, cardiac output, myocardial contractility and left ventricular capacity substantially contribute to the maintenance of a constant level of systemic BP.

CLINICAL AND FUNCTIONAL OUTCOMES OF VARIOUS SURGICAL APPROACHES TO THE TREATMENT OF PROGRESSIVE KERATOKONUS
Abstract
The article analyzes the results of surgical treatment of progressive early and late-stage keratoconus using a femtosecond laser. Three groups of patients (n = 80, 80 eyes) were operated on for progressive stages I-III keratoconus. Based on the Amsler-Krumeich classification, corneal collagen cross-linking with excimer-laser-assisted deepithelialization is considered to be the treatment of choice for progressive keratoconus (stages I-II) with central cornel thickness due to its efficacy and stability. Corneal collagen crosslinking with a femtosecond-assisted intrastromal pocket for administration of a photosensitizer and local ultraviolet irradiation is considered to be the treatment of choice for progressive keratoconus (stages I-II) with peripheral corneal thickness. Intralamellar keratoplasty with corneal segment implantation can effectively arrest the progression of stage III keratoconus and improve visual acuity both in the short and long term through improving anterior and posterior corneal surface regularity. All cases showed a statistically significant increase in visual acuity (NCD and IHEC), a decrease in keratometric corneal parameters, and a decrease in anterior and posterior corneal elevation.

THE INFLUENCE OF ALIMENTARY HYPOMAGNESAEMIA ON THE GENERAL CONDITION OF LACTATING FEMALE RATS AND POSTNATAL STATUS OF THEIR OFFSPRING
Abstract
The article describes the results of the effects of experimental hypomagnesaemia induced by the intake of a magnesium salt-deficient diet for two months on the general condition of lactating female rats and survival of their offspring. We found that magnesium deficiency leads to a deterioration of the general condition of the female rats and reduces their body mass during pregnancy and lactation. Observational studies of the offspring allowed us to identify an insufficient increase of body weight in rats born from mothers with hypomagnesaemia and high death rates in newborn rats within the first two months after birth.
