NEW BASIC APPROACH AND METHODIC FOR ASSESSING OF INFORMATION CONFLICT SUPERIORITY

Abstract

Currently, information conflicts of special infocommunication systems are an integral part of conflicts between various organizational and technical systems in a special sphere. The scientific and methodological apparatus of information superiority in information conflict grading is not now fully developed, so it updates the relevance of the topic. Proposed new basic approach based on the theory of actuarial mathematics, also a methodic information superiority assessing is presented. As a limitation, it is accepted that the acquisition and processing processes of information are characterized by an exponential distribution law. The analysis of the dependence of the formalized probabilistic indicator of information superiority on the ratio of the intensities of the opposing special infocommunication systems information acquisition and processing processes and the relationship of the mathematical expectations of the increments of these processes for each sides of information conflicts.

ONTOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF SIMULATION OF DISTRIBUTED RANDOM ANTENNA

Abstract

The paper considers ontological foundations of simulation of distributed random antenna (DRA) by triad-cluster method (TCM) using triadic elementary radiator (TER) as the basic element, as well as Laplace and Huygens-Kirchhoff principles. The features of internal and external electrodynamics problems solution, including the formulation of the initial conditions and the general principles for determining characteristics of DRA, are considered. TCM-models corresponding to partial and complete uncertainty of knowledge of decision-makers (DM) about configuration, excitation conditions and other properties of DRA are presented. These models allow the decision maker to understand and reproduce, in a first approximation, the physical processes occur during the formation confidential information leakage channels into the external environment through DRA.

SIMPLE APPROXIMATE FORMULA FOR FORECAST OF THE LIFETIME OF OPTICAL FIBERS OF A CABLE COMMUNICATION LINE

Abstract

The article is devoted to predicting optical cable communication lines’ lifetime, determined by optical fibers’ lifetime in a cable. Based on the well-known formulas for calculating the reliability indicators of optical fibers, taking into account the high requirements for the reliability of cable networks and the ranges of changes in the parameters of the destruction of silica optical fibers, the simple approximate formulas were obtained for calculating the lifetime of a cable of communication lines with a given probability. The formulas are obtained for a constant load on the cable fibers and their random nature. Estimates of the errors of the proposed formulas are given. Calculations show that the errors in the area of interest for the reliability of communication lines compared to the known more rigorous formulas do not exceed fractions of a percent, which allows us to recommend the obtained approximations for use.

COMPUTER NETWORK CONTENT: DESIGNING OF A SOFTWARE CONTROL UNIT

Abstract

The process of development of the program control unit of a content (engine) is reviewed in the article as an in-house system of its control; its vulnerabilities as well as set of necessary functions that are inherent to the specified engine are indicated in the article. Each new developed software engine can be subjected to unauthorized access and theft of content. Due to this fact, sometimes it is worth toconsider the percentage of uniqueness of the development methodology and code. The program control unit (engine) shall be written using its unique variables and file names. It will help to protect the site from third-party interference and will not require the purchase of the more expensive hosting for its placement. There are several stages in the process of application of the technology of development of the in-house engine. At the first stage, the HTML/CSS environment shall be assimilated. At the second stage, the PHP environment shall be assimilated as an environment for development of dynamic sites. At the third stage the issues of creating and managing a site through the admin panel shall be solved by studying the MSQL language. At the penultimate stage, it is advisable to replenish the knowledge by studying the language of interactive technologies JavaScript. It would be undoubtedly useful in the future. And at the final stage, it will be relatively easy to write your own CMS and create your own websites on its basis. Currently, the CMS is the most popular system or method of creation of the site, even despite the fact that there are some free-issued site engines with add-ons.

MONITORING OF THE STATE OF RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE OBJECTS BASED ON FUSN TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

Within the framework of the concept of the concepts «digital railroad» and «intelligent transport networks», a new way of organizing a system for monitoring the state of transport infrastructure facilities is proposed on the example of overhead supports and linear cable structures. The design of the system is based on the platform of ubiquitous sensor networks of the Internet of Things, in particular the«fl ubiquitous sensor networks» class. The main characteristics and features of the construction of fl sensor networks are briefl presented. An analytical model of the LoRa network has been built. Analytical modeling of the physical layer of the network is carried out. An architectural solution for the creation of a system for monitoring the state of railway infrastructure objects is proposed.

APPLICATION OF MEDIAN FILTERING FOR CLEANING ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM SIGNALS FROM OUTER MOTOR ARTIFACTS

Abstract

Electroencephalography is the simplest way to record the activity of the brain, however, artifacts arise that affect the operation of the brain-computer interface. The article proposes a median filtering method for cleaning EEG signals. A review of existing methods for removing artifacts from electroencephalogram signals is carried out. Comparison of methods for cleaning from oculomotor artifacts using median filtering and an adaptive algorithm based on Haar, Daubechies and Coyflet wavelets has been carried out. The proposed method of median filtering, applied to electroencephalogram signals, gave a good result in comparison with the adaptive method known earlier.

AUTOMATION OF MONITORING THE CONDITION OF PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT

Abstract

The article deals with issues related to increasing the operating time of equipment. Problems typical for almost any enterprise that interfere with the effective operation of numerical control machines are identified. It is shown that automation of equipment operation control allows you to automatically calculate the time of machine operation before the start of various types of maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment, mark the date of work and monitor their performance. The solution to the problem is proposed by implementing an automated information system that allows real-time monitoring of the operation of equipment with numerical control, analysis and classification of the causes of machine downtime. This makes it possible to carry out joint scheduled repairs with repairs based on the condition of the equipment. Due to the rapid response to the current state, it is possible to increase the operating time of the equipment.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF ANTENNA COMPLEXES FOR MIMO WITH POLARIZATION DIVISION

Abstract

An increasing increase in the amount of transmitted information in wireless radio networks makes it necessary to search for and develop technologies that can improve spectral efficiency. One of these technologies is MIMO. MIMO technology is successfully used in cellular communication systems and Wi-Fi networks. An urgent task is also to increase the spectral efficiency in special-purpose networks. Based on the conducted research, the procedure for designing antenna complexes in MIMO systems was developed. An experimental study of the components of antenna complexes with polarizing diversity was performed. In particular, an antenna complex consisting of two orthogonal log-periodic antennas combined on one traverse was developed. It is shown that the measured characteristics are in good qualitative and quantitative agreement with the characteristics obtained using the developed electrodynamic model of the antenna complex with polarization diversity.

CREST FACTOR REDUCTION ALGORITHM FOR THE RADIO BROADCASTING SIGNALS OF DRM STANDARD BY THE WINDOWING METHOD WITH FEEDBACK WITH ADAPTIVE CHANGE OF WINDOW LENGTH

Abstract

The problem of a high crest factor in systems with OFDM-modulation, which includes the digital radio broadcasting system of the DRM standard, makes it necessary to search for effective methods to reduce it. Among the methods of reducing the crest factor that can be applied in the DRM system, the method based on windowing with feedback stands out. Despite the fact that it is quite effective, it, like other methods, is characterized by the effect of a repeated increase in the crest factor after out-of-band emissions filtering. To further optimize this method, the parameters of the DRM signal were studied for correlation with the magnitude of the re-growth of the peak factor. On the basis of the data obtained, an adaptive algorithm of windowing with feedback using a variable window length was developed. The analysis of the proposed algorithm was carried out using a simulation model on the proprietary software CrestFactorTest. Experimental studies of the standard algorithm for reducing the crest factor based on windowing with feedback and the proposed adaptive algorithm have been carried out, which have shown the effectiveness of the latter.

IDENTIFICATION OF DOS ATTACKS BY ANALYSIS OF SOME STATISTICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF TRAFFIC

Abstract

Currently, the number of attacks carried out every day around the world is constantly increasing. Moreover, cybercriminals use new, previously unknown methods along with old methods and tools. It’s getting harder and harder to spot them. This article discusses the problem of identifying an anomalous component in traffic caused by the activities of intruders or network failures. For this, a denial-of-service attack is simulated and the corresponding traffic is captured for further analysis. The statistical characteristics of traffic corresponding to the normal state of the system and the state of an active attack are compared. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that there are statistical dependencies in certain parameters of network traffic, which make it possible to conclude that an anomalous component has been detected.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of developing a monitoring system for anomalous user behavior in distributed information computing systems and the construction of a mathematical model of the developed system. The study analyzes modern methods for analyzing user behavior in the information system. The main attention is paid to the fact that the existing methods of protecting information systems have a number of shortcomings, which can be corrected when using the developed method, while the method provides protection from both internal and external violators. To develop a monitoring system for abnormal user behavior in distributed information computing systems, it is necessary to solve a number of problems: to analyze methods for monitoring user behavior in the information system; build an objective function and select criteria for assessing the quality of methods for analyzing anomalous user behavior in a distributed information computing system. The study used the methods of information security theory, automata theory, pattern recognition theory and the theory of computing systems design.

Ambient sensors have a lot of advantages such as simplicity, inexpensiveness and wide application in smart-houses. Machine learning methods are often used for pattern activity recognition in sensor data. This work presents an application and comparison of some classical, ensemble and neural network machine learning methods for human activity recognition using smart-house ambient sensor data.

AUTOMATING THE CREATION OF REPORTS ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS

Abstract

This paper analyzes the need to use an automated system for combining reports on advertising campaigns. Ready-made solutions in the form of web services are considered, and disadvantages of their use are given. The article describes the developed web application, its functionality and main advantages in comparison with competitive solutions. It describes the operating instructions for the created web application and the sequence of steps to achieve the result. The result of the web application is a generated HTML table that contains all the necessary information about the conducted advertising campaigns. On the basis of a web page, the user can work not only with a table, but also with a dynamically generated graph. The result is a fi that contains data about the number of campaign impressions, ad clicks, the average click price, and the number of clicks that reached the goal.

CREATION AND RESEARCH OF THE CLOUD- BASED SYSTEM FOR SELF-EDUCATION

Abstract

The authors have developed a web-system based on Open Source technology with an open access to the project, containing a web-application and a web-site. Through the mobile application, the user may get access to the teaching materials posted on the site, with final testing the level of knowledge acquisition. The cloud-based system was designed for teaching the discipline «Informatics», and it was tested among the first-year students studying the program «Telecommunications». As a result, it was revealed that the effectiveness of teaching students with cloud technologies was 10 % higher than with traditional teaching methods. In addition, the dispersion of test results relative to the average has decreased from 31 to 20 %, which certainly confirms the effectiveness of training with cloud technologies. However, the results indicate that some students will still need additional self- educational activities to achieve a satisfactory formation of self-educational competence.

Abstract

The article highlights the problem of foreign language teaching in the process of distant learning in nonlinguistic universities. The article gives the details of different forms of distant learning with the use of innovative computer technologies in order to build communicative competence among students. The tutor’s part and objective in the process of distant learning are determined. Actual experience in using distant learning techniques on the base of Povolzhskiy State University of Telecommunications and Informatics is given. Using this educational platform, we consider it together with traditional ways of teaching, while during the pandemic it has been the only way of teaching. Distant learning is aimed to raise he effectiveness of students’ self-guided work and supposes searching and information analysis to be ready for the class. The most important advantage is that students being an active part of educational process can easily connect and communicate with the tutor via the Internet.
