Abstract

The need for medical rehabilitation of adult population in hospital is defined and analyzed, and the number of admissions and beds for medical rehabilitation in accordance with the basic classes and some diseases are calculated. Estimated number of admissions of adult population of the Russian Federation for the medical rehabilitation as a whole is 433.7 cases per 10 000 adults per year. The number of patients who need for medical rehabilitation on inpatient basis is about 21.1% of all patients treated in the hospitals. The article presents estimated figures of the need of Russian adult population in medical rehabilitation in the hospital (number of hospitalizations, hospital beds, and their structure), both for the classes and some specific diseases. First three places among the classes of the diseases that form the cohort of patients who need medical rehabilitation on an inpatient basis per 10 000 population occupy the diseases of: the circulatory system (242.4), respiratory system (54.2) and the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (44.8). Using the proposed calculated number of hospitalizations and beds for medical rehabilitation on an inpatient setting, health care authorities of any region of the Russian Federation can calculate the need for medical rehabilitation of the region.

Assessment of afterload dynamics in cardiac performance by electro cardiographic parameters of cardiac complex

Pankova N.B., Bogdanova E.V.

Abstract

A comparative analysis of the results of the assessment of cardiac performance parameters of cardiac complex (based on the device «spiroarteriocardiorythmograph» - SACR) and computational methods based on blood pressure was carried out at rest. It is shown that the results of the evaluation of the impact on cardiac complex parameters differ significantly from the data calculated by the blood pressure, but is most close to the values obtained by Fick principle and echocardiography method. A method of estimating the value of the stroke volume of the heart in the parameters of the complex cardiac allowed showing that, after exercise in untrained adults (sample Martine) there is an increase in stroke volume and cardiac output of blood circulation. In young subjects, regardless of the power level of fitness and physical load revealed that the increase in cardiac output blood flow achieved by increased heart rate, while the stroke volume is reduced by 8-9%. Application of the assessment of cardiac performance by SACR in the sports medicine is proposes.

Influence of concentration diet of vitamin-mineral complexes combined with adaptogens on providing iron, copper and manganese and immune reactivity of studentathletes

Zaitseva I.P.

Abstract

Studies on 40 student-athletes between the ages of 19 to 22 years old found that 2 week intake of vitamin and mineral complex (WMC) «Gerimax» combined with adaptogens was accompanied by considerable delay of iron, copper and manganese in the body, which indicates a lack of content in the body. However, with increased retention markedly increased excretion of iron medication copper and manganese with feces and urine. Reception of the WMC with herbal adaptogens was accompanied by significant increases in indicators of natural and specific immunity: complement, lysozyme and serum bactericidal activity (bass), relative and absolute number of lymphocytes, T-lymphocyte populations, increasing of the immunoglobulin classes G, M, and a Phagocytic activity and level of circulating immune complexes (CIC) against the background of a significant reduction in the concentration of B-cell lymphocytes.

Concentration changes of malondialdehyde and activity glutathione-s-transferase erythrocytes in blood of qualified athletes in different phases of annual training macrocycle

Bazarin K.P., Titova N.M., Kuznetsov S.A., Alexandrova L.I.

Abstract

The present research is focused upon the study of the dynamics of some antioxidant status indices in sportsmen in the state of their maximum tiredness (right after competition period), after preparing period (peak of form) and after rest. The article provides with the results of the research of malondialdehyde (MDA) and glutathione-S-transferase (GST) content in venous blood erythrocytes. We’v found significant increasing of MDA level and decreasing of GST activity in athletes at the end of competitive period relatively to control group, which may indicate possible decompensation in the antioxidant system. At the end of preparative period MDA stay normal because high level of free radical production is compensated by increased antioxidant system activity. Minimum MDA level and maximum GST activity are observed at the end of rest period.
